Tonight’s WWE RAW airing June 9, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the PHX Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. The post-WWE Money in the Bank show sees WWE World Heavyweight Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso defend his title against “The Ring General” GUNTHER. Plus, Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena appears.

WWE RAW Results (6/9/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with the host venue’s exterior being shown as Michael Cole welcomes us. Cole then narrates the backstage arrivals of new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella, “The Ring General” GUNTHER and WWE World Heavyweight Champion “Main Event” Jey Uso with his son.

Cole then lists tonight’s attendance as 14,361 and says the venue is sold out. We then get a video package recapping this past Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank and WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.

Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Ring announcer Alicia Taylor then introduces John Cena and Cena grabs a mic. Cena starts off by saying fans teach him something every time they open their mouths and what they taught him at Money in the Bank is that truth is a lie. Cena then says fans opened their mouth and wasted their energy saving a side show comedian whose greatest achievement is pretending to be him. Cena then asks the fans if they thought that actually accomplished anything, then calls the fans armchair activists with no real power to change anything. Cena then says R-Truth is a gimmick that fans will not care about in a year and fans will never use him to benefit one of their pity parties again because it’s his retirement tour and he only has 19 dates left. Cena then says his retirement tour is over halfway done, then tells the fans to send him real competition rather than the class clown. Cena then says he has beaten everyone that the fans have cheered for from Truth to Cody Rhodes to Randy Orton.

CM Punk’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Punk asks Cena if he is comfortable. Punk then tells Cena that he wants him to be comfortable because he has a lot of things to get off his chest. Punk then says he is not defending the establishment. Punk then says he’s not standing for TKO or defending the billionaires. Punk then says he is defending the people. Punk then asks Cena if he is mad because the establishment picked him, but the fans never did. Punk then says he wasn’t there to kiss the Final Boss’ ass like Cena. Punk then says the people are his boss. Cena then holds up the title belt. Punk then says it’s his job to give the people what they want and if they want the truth he will give them Ron Killings.

Punk then says he knows that he is a spoke on the wheel like everyone else in WWE and that includes Cena. Punk then warns Cena that he is coming for his Undisputed WWE Championship, then recalls their encounter in the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber Match and Cena telling him he was sorry when he had the STF locked in on him. Punk then says Cena knows what he is doing is wrong and while everyone in the back should want to be Undisputed WWE Champion, few can actually do it. Punk then says he sees now that he has to be a monster to defeat the monster and that the Undisputed WWE Championship belongs to the people. Punk then says Cena has 19 dates left and he’ll leave it up to Cena which one they’ll face off for the Undisputed WWE Championship for but dares him to do so tonight. Cena then agrees, but says he will instead defend the Undisputed WWE Championship at WWE Night of Champions rather than tonight.

Seth Rollins’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring with his Money in the Bank briefcase alongside WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Punk then tells Cena, “You’re on” and Cole points that out. Rollins then holds up the Money in the Bank briefcase while Cole says it’s a reminder that Rollins can cash in any time and on any champion.

Cole then introduces Wade Barrett as his color commentator while adding that Pat McAfee has the night off. They then hype the King and Queen of the Ring matches that will take place during the show.

A graphic then lists the other Fatal 4-Way Matches for KOTR: The winner of tonight’s Sami Zayn vs. Penta vs. Bron Breakker vs. Dom Mysterio will face the winner of Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. Aleister Black vs. Carmelo Hayes in the semifinals. The other side of the bracket has Cody Rhodes vs. Damian Priest vs. Andrade vs. Shinsuke Nakamura facing the winner of Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed vs. a mystery final entrant.

Chad Gable then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night with The Creeds and AJ Styles follows.

Singles Match: American Made’s Chad Gable vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

The match starts off with both men locking up. Styles then sends Gable crashing into the mat with an arm drag, but Gable places Styles in a submission hold. Styles then nails Gable with a dropkick, but Gable responds with a suplex on Styles on the outside of the ring. Gable then sends Styles back inside the ring, then delivers some right hands and stomps on him in the corner before hitting a belly-to-belly suplex on Styles and going for a pin. Styles then kicks out.

Gable then cinches in an arm submission on Styles, but Styles delivers some right hands on Gable. Gable then responds with a German suplex and a diving headbutt off the top rope to Styles, then climbs up the ropes. Styles then pulls him off with a powerbomb and sets up for a Styles Clash, but Julius helps Gable escape as Brutus distracts the referee. Styles then hits a sliding knee on Julius off the apron and flies off it to nail Brutus, but Gable cinches in an Ankle Lock on Styles when he gets back in the ring. Styles then escapes by sending Gable crashing into the middle rope, then rolls through and transitions into a Styles Clash for the win.

We then see Liv Morgan warming up in the Gorilla Position when Roxanne Perez shows up and tries to talk to her. Morgan tells Perez to save her breath. Morgan then says she will beat Perez, win the tournament and take back her championship. Perez then plays up working together for the good of The Judgment Day, but Morgan tells her to stay out of her way. Perez then offers her a handshake and says may the best woman win. Morgan then says she will while shaking her hand. Morgan then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Roxanne Perez then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Kairi Sane and Rhea Ripley follows.

Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way First Round Match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Liv Morgan vs. “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez vs. Kairi Sane

The match starts off with Perez brawling with Sane. Ripley then goes straight after Morgan, but Perez jumps on Ripley’s back to come to Morgan’s aid. Sane then jumps off Ripley’s spine to nail Perez, but Morgan hits Sane with a dropkick. Sane then takes down both Perez and Morgan, then hits a double dropkick on both of them that sends them crashing out of the ring. Ripley then hits a kick on Sane’s spine as she is holding on to the top rope, then follows it up with a kick.

Morgan and Sane then hit alternating strikes on Ripley, but Morgan hits a double splash on Ripley and Sane as they are stacked on top of one another in the corner. Ripley then sets up for Rip Tide on Morgan, but Perez comes to Morgan’s aid. Morgan and Perez then hits a Codebreaker-German suplex combination on Ripley, but Sane looks to hit a crossbody off the top on both of them. Morgan and Perez then catch Sane and send her over the top rope to send her crashing on top of Ripley on the outside.

Perez and Morgan then continue double teaming on Ripley on the outside, taking turns hitting some chops on her. Perez then sends Ripley back into the ring and follows her along with Morgan, then delivers some right and left hands on Ripley. Morgan then hits a hair whip on Ripley and Perez sends Sane crashing into Ripley. Morgan and Perez then send Ripley crashing into the ring post shoulder first, but Sane sends Perez out of the ring through the middle rope and delivers some strikes on Morgan.

Morgan then hits a springboard Codebreaker on Ripley and goes for a pin, but Sane breaks the fall. Ripley then pulls Morgan and Perez off the ropes as they teeter on them with Sane, but Sane flies to nail Ripley off the top and goes for a pin. Ripley then kicks out, but Sane delivers some right hands on her and nails her with a jawbreaker. She then goes for a pin, but Morgan breaks the fall.

Perez and Morgan then send Ripley crashing into the corner and Morgan delivers some stomps on Ripley. Ripley then nails Perez and Morgan with a couple of clotheslines, then hits a German suplex on Morgan and sends Perez crashing into the mat with a Fallaway Slam before hitting a boot on Sane and a headbutt on Perez.

Morgan then looks to surprise Ripley with Oblivion, but Ripley sees her coming and hits a Rip Tide on her. She then goes for a pin, but Raquel Rodriguez appears out of nowhere and pulls Ripley out of the ring to break the fall. Ripley and Rodriguez then begin to brawl on the outside, but Sane hits an elbow drop on both women off the top rope. She then climbs back up to the top and hits the In-Sane Elbow on Morgan. She then goes for a pin, but Perez transitions into a pinfall of her own for the win.

The winner of the Queen of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way First Round Match, “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez!

After the match, a graphic shows that Perez will face the winner of Jade Cargill vs. Michin vs. Piper Niven vs. Nia Jax and the other side of the bracket has the winner of Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Chelsea Green vs. Candice LeRae facing the winner of Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Ivy Nile in the semifinals.

We then get a video package of the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide PLE.

We then see new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch walking in the backstage area.

We then see Jey Uso pacing backstage with his belt hanging on a ladder, while GUNTHER is warming up.

We then get a Nikki Bella video package, including her return at the Royal Rumble back in February. We then see Nikki concluding her chat with Natalya and Maxxine Dupri before offering Kairi her best as Kairi walks off from IYO SKY. Nikki then talks to IYO and says that she is impressed with how IYO represents herself and the women’s division. IYO then thanks Nikki. Nikki then walks out and IYO is happy.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Lynch starts off by questioning the fans as to where the “you deserve it” chants are, then says she doesn’t need them to say it because she already knows that it’s true. Lynch then says she should be celebrating becoming the new Women’s Intercontinental Championship especially since it’s rare that she accomplishes something new in her career after doing it all. Lynch then says the Women’s Intercontinental Championship has been welcomed to the big time because she is holding it and while she should have been celebrating with her family, Lyra Valkyria ruined everything when she blindsided her with an attack after their Women’s Intercontinental Championship match at Money In The Bank. Lynch then says Valkyria raised her hand so aggressively after the match to the point where she thought her shoulder was dislocated and she tried to be the bigger person by allowing Valkyria to put the Women’s Intercontinental Championship around her waist only to be attacked by her. Lynch then demands Valkyria come to the ring to apologize to her and raise her hand the right way.

Valkyria’s music then hits and she storms down to the ring. Bayley then blindsides Lynch from behind and delivers some right hands on her, but Lynch slides out of the ring. She then heads up the ramp, but runs into Valkyria and Valkyria sends her back inside. Bayley then sets up for the Rose Plant, but Lynch escapes and retreats through the crowd.

We then head to the commentary desk, but R-Truth appears out of nowhere and stands on the desk. Truth tells fans not to let anyone tell them that their voice doesn’t matter, then says WWE management heard the fans and rehired him because of them. Truth then says he is back for all of the fans, but also for himself. Truth then says fans didn’t just bring him back, but they also brought back Ron Killings. Truth then says everyone loves him, but he can be too funny, too nice and too forgiving sometimes. Truth then says Ron Killings isn’t and he is not a side show act or a gimmick. Truth then puts down the microphone and takes out a pair of scissors, then cuts off his braids and holds them in his hands as he says the Truth has set him free. Truth then says he is Ron Killings and he is the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Truth then exits through the crowd.

We then see Dominik Mysterio warming up backstage when Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh shows up and bump fists with him. Bálor says he is surprised that he isn’t in the tournament. Dominik then says Bálor had his shot at Money in the Bank and that didn’t work out so he didn’t think Bálor would mind if he was in KOTR. Bálor then says he isn’t upset. Bálor then says everything is working out perfectly. Roxanne Perez then shows up. Bálor then tells Dominik and McDonagh to let her know. McDonagh then reluctantly fist-bumps Perez. Dominik doesn’t bump fists, but he tells Perez that he watched her match and she did a pretty good job. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez then show up. Morgan asks what everyone is celebrating. Perez then says she helped Morgan by stopping Kairi Sane. Morgan then asks “Is that what you did?” and tells her congratulations. Morgan and Rodriguez then leave. Bálor then tells Dominik he should talk to Morgan. Dominik then says he has a match. Bálor then says or not with a laugh after Dominik leaves.

Penta then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and we get a Mr. Iguana video package.

We then see Seth Rollins speaking to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed inside their dressing room, while Paul Heyman stands by. Rollins then fires up Breakker, who barks and heads out for his match. Dominik Mysterio is already in the ring for the next match of the night and Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker make their way down to the ring.

King of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way First Round Match: The Judgment Day’s WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio vs. Sami Zayn vs. “The Unpredictable Badass” Bron Breakker vs. Penta

The match starts off with Dominik sliding out of the ring. Penta then flies over the top rope to nail him on the outside, but Zayn delivers some right hands on Breakker in the corner. Breakker then delivers some shoulders on Zayn’s midsection in the adjacent corner, then nails him with a belly-to-belly suplex. He then hits a slam on Penta and runs the ropes, then turns Dominik inside out with a clothesline.

Zayn then delivers some right hands on Breakker, then sends Breakker crashing into the mat with a slam and goes for a pin. He then kicks out and Breakker sends Dominik back out of the ring as he tries to blindside him. Penta then sneaks up behind Breakker, but Breakker takes out Penta and sends Zayn crashing into the corner. He then sends Dominik into the adjacent corner, then delivers some shoulders on his midsection and nails Dominik.

Zayn then blindsides Breakker with a shotgun dropkick and Dominik pins Breakker. Zayn then breaks the fall and goes after Dominik, but Breakker delivers some right hands on Zayn in the corner and throws Dominik across the ring. All four men then begin brawling with one another, but Dominik rolls up Penta. Penta then kicks out and takes down Dominik with a hurricanrana, then nails him with an enzuigiri in the corner and follows it up with a modified Bronco Buster. Zayn then hits a Tornado DDT on Penta off the ropes, then delivers some right hands on Breakker in the corner.

Breakker then tackles Zayn and delivers some right hands on him, then hits some knees on his midsection and nails some right hands on him. Zayn then low bridges Breakker out of the ring, then hits an Asai Moonsault to nail him. Penta then climbs to the top rope and hits a crossbody on Zayn to nail him. Dominik then hits a tope suicida on Penta, but Breakker flies off the apron to send Dominik crashing over the announce desk.

Breakker then delivers some right hands on Dominik behind the announce desk, then hits a right hand on Zayn. Penta then nails Breakker with a right hand of his own and sends him back in the ring, then follows him inside. Zayn then hits a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Penta and goes for a pin, but Penta kicks out. Breakker then slides back in the ring and hits some shoulders on Zayn’s midsection in the corner before the two teeter on the ropes. Zayn then fights off Breakker, but Dominik joins Zayn on the ropes. Penta then pulls off Dominik and hits a powerbomb on him and Breakker hits a Frankensteiner on Zayn off the middle rope.

Penta and Breakker then. exchange strikes with one another, but Breakker nails Penta with a jumping knee. Penta then responds with a superkick on Breakker, but Breakker sets up for a Gorilla Press on Penta. Penta then escapes and hits a DDT on Breakker, then looks to go for a pin. Dominik then throws Penta out of the ring before he can pin Breakker himself, but Breakker kicks out.

Dominik then hits The Three Amigos on Zayn, but Zayn counters into a Blue Thunder Bomb on Dominik on the third suplex. He then goes for a pin, but Dominik manages to kick out. Penta then sends Zayn crashing into the mat with a Penta Driver, but Dominik rolls up Penta. Penta then kicks out and sends Dominik crashing into the mat with a Bull Dog, then follows it up with a Mexican Destroyer and goes for a pin. Dominik then kicks out. Breakker then delivers some right hands and stomps on Dominik, then sends Penta out of the ring and hits a running spear on him on the outside. LA Knight then appears out of nowhere and hits a BFT on Breakker, opening the door for Zayn to hit an Exploder and the Helluva Kick on Dominik for the win.

The winner of the King of the Ring Tournament Fatal 4-Way First Round Match, Sami Zayn!

We then head to the back, where AJ Styles is being interviewed. Styles says he can’t enjoy his victory tonight because he can’t stop thinking about last week. Styles then says if you disrespect him he’ll punch you in the mouth. Cathy Kelly then sees a developing story in the distance. The New Day are chatting with Grayson Waller, who runs off after he sees the camera. The New Day says they have too much respect for the titles they hold to defend them against just anybody. They then blow off Cathy Kelley and put themselves over for elevating the titles.

We then see WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella walking in the backstage area and Cole hypes Nikki Bella coming up next.

We then get a video touting WrestleMania 42 being held in Las Vegas, Nevada at Allegiant Stadium on April 18 and 19, 2026.

It is then announced that Asuka will make her return on next week’s show.

The following matches are then listed for next week’s RAW in Green Bay: Asuka vs. Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Raquel Rodriguez in a Fatal 4-Way Queen of the Ring Match and Sheamus vs. Rusev vs. Bronson Reed vs. a mystery entrant in a Fatal 4-Way King of the Ring Match.

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Nikki starts off by saying it’s good to be back home and in the ring, then wastes no time in addressing the upcoming WWE Evolution PLE and says the women’s division is the best it’s ever been.

Liv Morgan’s music then hits and she storms down to the ring. Morgan says if Nikki is talking about the best in the women’s division, then she better invoke her name and calls herself the most talented woman in the division. Morgan then rattles off some of her recent accomplishments and says Nikki is lucky she wasn’t around when she was wrestling full time because she would have beaten her. Morgan then says Nikki is jealous of her because she has everything she doesn’t in respect, a championship and a man. Nikki then says she’s trying to figure out if Dominik Mysterio belongs to Morgan or Perez, then tells Morgan to congratulate Perez for taking both her Women’s World Championship shot and her man. Nikki then looks to leave, but Morgan stops her by calling her nothing more than a reality show diva. Nikki then turns around, but Morgan hits her with an Oblivion.

We then get highlights of the John Cena and CM Punk feud from earlier in the night. Cole says Adam Pearce made Cena vs. Punk for the WWE Championship official for Night of Champions.

Commentary then narrates highlights of the beating that Jey Uso took at the hands of Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed on RAW, the beating he took from John Cena and Logan Paul on Smackdown, along with his table bump from MITB.

GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night. Jey Uso and his son is then standing in the concourse surrounded by fans. Jey and his son then enter the arena and pump their arms, then head down the steps toward the ring. Jey and his son then shake hands and hug and Jey hops the barricade while his son takes a seat in the crowd. Jey then slaps hands with the broadcast team before heading to the ring.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: “Main Event” Jey Uso (c) vs. “The Ring General” GUNTHER

The match starts off with both men locking up. Both men then go back and forth with one another, but GUNTHER sends Jey crashing into the top turnbuckle face first. Jey then delivers some right hands on GUNTHER in the corner, but GUNTHER hits a running knee on Jey and delivers several more knees on his oblique. He then sends Jey crashing into the mat with a suplex and sends him into the corner, but Jey moves out of the way and GUNTHER is sent crashing into the turnbuckles chest first.

Jey then hits a Brainbuster on GUNTHER and both men exchange right hands with one another. GUNTHER then sends Jey crashing into the top of one of the barricades on the outside spine first, then sends him back in the ring and climbs to the top. He then looks to hit a splash, but Jey gets his boots up and hits a spear on GUNTHER. He then climbs to the top rope and hits the Uso Splash on GUNTHER before going for a pin. GUNTHER then kicks out.

GUNTHER then gets Jey up, but Jey escapes and transitions into a pinfall. GUNTHER then kicks out, but Jey nails him with a superkick and looks to lock in a Sleeper on him. GUNTHER then blocks it and hits a backbreaker on Jey, then follows it up with a powerbomb and goes for a pin. Jey then kicks out, but GUNTHER hits a spear on Jey and goes for a second pinfall. Jey then kicks out once again, but GUNTHER delivers several chops on him. Jey then responds with a spear and looks to follow it up with an Uso Splash, but GUNTHER rolls out of the way and cinches in a Sleeper on Jey. Jey then powers up to his feet, but GUNTHER cinches in the Sleeper on him even tighter. Jey then reverses and transitions into a Sleeper of how own on GUNTHER, but GUNTHER escapes and delivers Hammer and Anvil Elbows on Jey. He then cinches in another Sleeper on Jey and Jey passes out.

After the match, GUNTHER straps the title belt around his waist and plays to the crowd. Pyro then goes off and the show comes to a close.
