WWE RAW Results (7/6/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens up with a video package looking at how we got to tonight’s Undisputed WWE Championship Match.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then welcomes us to RAW as we the pre-show arrivals of Oba Femi, The Judgment Day, The Street Profits and Sami Zayn.
We then see Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn run into Cody Rhodes. Zayn tells Rhodes that he is walking out of Chicago as still the Undisputed WWE Champion. Rhodes then wishes Zayn good luck and says Zayn is right about how things are going to happen. GUNTHER then attacks Cody Rhodes and power bombs him through a table. GUNTHER then tells Zayn that Rhodes is not his problem any more. GUNTHER then says you never should have won that title. GUNTHER then says I will come for you. GUNTHER then sends Rhodes into Zayn’s car. Rhodes is then shown bleeding from his ear.
Seth Rollins’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Rollins then welcomes everyone to Monday Night Rollins and reminds the fans who and what he is. Rollins then says he loves this building. The WWE Universe then erupts with CM Punk chants. Rollins then tells the WWE Universe to get it out of their system. Rollins then says he couldn’t care less about Punk. Rollins then says his business is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins then says his business is to own Roman Reigns and beating him at SummerSlam. Rollins then says Roman Reigns is not here tonight. Rollins then says he thinks the check wasn’t big enough for Reigns to show up in Chicago.
Rollins then calls Roman Reigns a Chosen One. Rollins then recalls the time The Shield debuted in WWE and says Reigns was always the Chosen One. Rollins then says it didn’t matter if Reigns couldn’t cut a promo, it was always going to be him. Rollins then says that didn’t sit right with him. Rollins then looks at a kid in the crowd and says he was that boy. Rollins then says he sat in these stands and all he ever wanted to do his entire life is to walk down this ramp and get inside this ring and main event WrestleManias. Rollins then says he wanted to be the biggest star in the company. Rollins then says he watched those dreams be handed off to somebody else. Rollins then says it broke something in him.
Rollins then says he doesn’t think Roman Reigns deserved it. Rollins then says he broke up The Shield to catch up to Reigns. Rollins then says he cashed in on Reigns to stay close to him. Rollins then says he admits it sounds petty, but he believed he and Reigns were running the same race. Rollins then says Roman Reigns worked 10 times less than he did and he made 10 times more than he did. Rollins then says that made him want to puke. Rollins then says it was never about money. Rollins then says the reward for him was work, hustle and the grind. Rollins then says Roman Reigns needs to beat him and prove that he is not a fraud. Rollins then says he needs to beat Reigns just as much because he needs to prove to himself that through hard work and sacrifice, he still can achieve greatness.
LA Knight then makes his way down to the ring to interrupt Seth Rollins. Knight says there was no way he was going to sit back there and listen to this again. Knight then says Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins bored everybody to sleep last week. Knight then says all Rollins had to do was talk about his greatness to get a title shot. Knight then says Seth Rollins lost in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament. Knight then says he admits he lost in the first round too, but he didn’t come out to stake claim on the World Heavyweight Championship for the nostalgia stake. Knight then calls Seth Rollins an iron man. Knight then says he knows he doesn’t have much time left and he’s never going to get as many opportunities as Rollins. Knight then reminds Rollins of his arrival in WWE. Knight then says he got cut off by The Bloodline and the numbers with Reigns.
Knight then says he got cut off by The Vision. Knight then says Seth Rollins is great at manipulating people. Knight then says Rollins can’t stop him because he must rise. Rollins then asks Knight if he’s done. Rollins then says he admits he doesn’t like Knight, but he respects him. Rollins then says LA Knight is everything he just described. Rollins then says he believes Knight’s time will come, but right now he cannot worry about him because he has to go to SummerSlam and get back the title he never lost. Rollins then says Knight can be the first person to step up when he wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Knight then watches Rollins go to the back and as he turns around, Jimmy Uso hits him with a superkick.
We then see Adam Pearce and he tells GUNTHER his meeting with Nick Aldis is off for what happened. GUNTHER then says Aldis he was a failure as a wrestler and now he is a failure as an authority figure. Aldis and Pearce then argue over him stealing the SmackDown main event for RAW. Aldis then says Pearce is doing a crappy job because Cody Rhodes got attacked and it is on you.
We then see Jackie Redmond with The Vision. Paul Heyman then walks up to them and tells Jackie Redmond to leave. He then tells Bron Breakker he doesn’t have to worry about the barricade, but he didn’t even take out Seth Rollins. The Oracle then tells Austin Theory that he failed to take out Joe Hendry. Paul Heyman then tells them to come back with something worthy of their wise man or don’t come back to him at all.
The Street Profits then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Vision follow.
WWE World Tag Team Championship Match: The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) (c) vs. The Vision (“The Unpredictable Badass” Bron Breakker and “The Pressure” Austin Theory)
The match starts off with Bron Breakker cornering Montez Ford and Breakker drives his shoulder into the midsection of Ford. Austin Theory then hits a backbreaker. Breakker then follows it up with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ford then hits Theory with a dropkick. Angelo Dawkins then comes in and he hits a shoulder tackle. Dawkins then applies a side headlock in the middle of the ring. Theory then drives his shoulder into the midsection of Dawkins and he tags in Breakker. Dawkins then hits a standing dropkick to Breakker. Breakker then runs into a boot. Dawkins then hits a right hand to Theory. Breakker then hits a running clothesline.
The Vision then continue their beatdown on Dawkins. They then hit a double shoulder tackle. Dawkins then hits Theory with a snap suplex and both men are down. Ford then comes in and he takes the fight to Breakker and kicks him in the midsection. Ford then hits Breakker with a step-up enziguiri. Ford then hits another kick to the temple and he follows it up with a crossbody for a near fall. Breakker then hits Ford with a pop-up powerslam. Ford then hits a knee to Theory. Dawkins then comes in and they hit Theory with a blockbuster off the top rope. Breakker then breaks up the pinfall.
Breakker then sends Ford over the top rope and to the floor. Dawkins then hits Theory with a double underhook spinning neckbreaker. Logan Paul then slides in brass knuckles, but the referee catches him red-handed. Paul has a second set of brass knuckles. Dawkins then knocks out Breakker. Ford then flies over the top of the turnbuckle, wiping out Breakker. Dawkins then gets the brass knuckles. Maxxine Dupri then hits Dawkins with a low blow behind the referee’s back and Theory gets a pinfall for the win.

After the match, Maxxine Dupri kisses Austin Theory and she celebrates with The Vision.
We then see the doctor checking on Cody Rhodes and he says Rhodes needs more tests. Adam Pearce then says he cannot let Rhodes wrestle if he cannot be cleared. He then asks if more tests can be done. Rhodes then says he is fine.
We then see Byron Saxton in the interview area and he brings out Joe Hendry. Byron then asks about the tag title match. Joe then says there are three unfortunate realities. Joe then says death, taxes and The Vision doing anything to win. Joe then says he is shocked at what Maxxine did. Byron then asks when does Joe earn gold. Joe then says he pinned Austin Theory last week. Joe then says he has gotten to Logan Paul. Joe then sings his Logan Paul song. Joe then says he was a champion everywhere he wrestled before. Joe then says he wants the Intercontinental Championship. Joe then says that is not too big a hill to climb. Joe then says that is not impossible. Joe then says he believes and they believe. Joe then says whoever he has to face, you are facing the entire world chanting that they believe.
We then see Austin Theory, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul and Maxxine Dupri celebrate in the back. Logan then rambles about how great they are and they walk up to Paul Heyman. Heyman says that was the first step and only a first step. Heyman says he is being too harsh. Heyman then says at least someone got something accomplished tonight. Theory then thanks Heyman. Heyman then tells Theory he was talking to Dupri. They then get into their vehicle and drive away. Otis and Akira Tozawa then appear in the garage and they are not sure of what they saw.
We then take a look at what happened between IYO SKY and Liv Morgan last week.
Liv Morgan then tells Raquel Rodriguez this is her night and they have all the momentum. Morgan then says they took care of SKY and sent a message to Danhausen. Morgan then says they will do everything in their power to make sure that Rodriguez is the Intercontinental Champion. Rodriguez then says she will rip that title from Sol Ruca’s waist. Rodriguez then says she will be champion.
We then see Jackie Redmond with Penta. She asks about the #1 Contender’s Match for next week. Penta is then interrupted by Ethan Page and Rusev. Page says you will not get to mention Rey’s name. Rey is out of the gauntlet and on the shelf. Dragon Lee then shows up and he says he better not talk that way about Rey. Chad Gable then shows up and Rusev asks if there is a problem. Page then says we will get to Rusev’s job, but he will talk to Pearce about a tag match. Penta then tells them to go out with Cero Miedo.
Michael Cole then says Cody Rhodes has left the arena to go the hospital to get some scans.
Sol Ruca then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Raquel Rodriguez follows.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) vs. The Judgment Day’s “Big Mami Cool” Raquel Rodriguez
The match starts off with both women locking up and Raquel backs Sol into the corner and gives a clean break. They then lock up again and Raquel backs Sol into the ropes. Raquel then gives a clean break, but she misses a clothesline. Sol then applies a side head lock and she goes for a side head lock take down off the turnbuckles, but Raquel blocks it. Raquel then gets an arm wringer for a near fall. Raquel then gets a few near falls and Sol bridges and she gets a sunset flip, but Raquel rolls through. Raquel then tries to push Sol off the ropes, but Sol gets a body scissors. Sol then hits a slingshot move and she flips on the ropes. Raquel then hits snake eyes. Raquel then hits elbows in the corner. Raquel then gets Sol up for a slam, but Sol escapes and sends Raquel into the turnbuckles.
Sol then drops down and Raquel goes to the floor. Sol then misses a moonsault from the corner. Sol then does a cartwheel to avoid being sent into the apron. Sol then hits a twisting Asai moonsault. Sol then gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Sol then hits a springboard move, but Raquel goes for a choke slam and Sol lands on her feet. Raquel then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Raquel then chokes Sol in the ropes. Raquel then hits an Irish whip and a splash into the corner. Raquel then hits a slam. Raquel then hits another slam. Raquel then kicks Sol in the ribs. Raquel then hits the lawnmower elbows in the corner. Raquel then cinches in an abdominal stretch. Raquel then hits a shoulder tackle and an elbow drop for a near fall.
Raquel then hits a back breaker to Sol and Raquel sends Sol into the turnbuckles. Raquel then hits several shoulders to the back. Sol then hits several punches from the turnbuckles. Sol then hits a sunset flip and Raquel rolls through. Sol then hits a springboard cross body for a near fall. Sol then hits several punches and kicks. Sol then hits several uppercuts. Sol then hits a flying shoulder tackle for two and Raquel stays on her feet. Sol then misses a splash in the corner, but Sol hits a missile drop kick. Sol then hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Sol then misses a springboard splash and Raquel hits a clothesline for a near fall. Roxanne Perez then makes her way to ringside. Sol then escapes a Tejana Bomb. Perez then distracts the referee.
Sol then goes for a Sol Snatcher, but Liv Grabs Sol. Raquel then hits a side slam for a near fall. IYO SKY’s music then hits and IYO hits a cross body off the ringside barrier to Perez and a back heel kick to Liv. IYO then hits an Asai moonsault onto Liv and Perez as Raquel charges at her. Sol then hits a Sol Snatcher for the win.

We then take a look back at what happened at the start of RAW last week.
We then see Byron Saxton in the interview area and he brings out Je’Von Evans to talk. Byron asks Evans about his match next week. Evans says Byron didn’t have to bring up his loss at King of the Ring. Evans then says he felt like he wasn’t ready to be on RAW, but Adam Pearce called him to be part of the gauntlet. Evans then says anybody who stands in front of him and he will take care of them and he will be coming for Penta at SummerSlam.
We then see Paul Heyman in the ring. Heyman then introduces himself and says he serves as the advocate for the greatest combat fighter in history – Brock Lesnar. Heyman then says he came out here to talk about Oba Femi. Heyman then says Femi came to WWE like he owns the joint. Heyman then says Femi doesn’t. Heyman then recalls Lesnar giving Femi a low blow last week. Heyman then says it’s nothing compared to the pain Femi is going to suffer inside Hell in a Cell. Heyman then says Femi has inspired and compelled Lesnar to emerge. Heyman then says Femi made the biggest mistake of his life by accepting the challenge from Lesnar. Heyman then says there is no way and no how. Heyman then says Lesnar will destroy Femi inside Hell in a Cell.
Femi then makes his way down to the ring to interrupt Heyman. Femi says Heyman loves to talk so much and that’s why he came out here so he won’t be lonely. Femi then says he wants to give Paul Heyman a face to talk to. Heyman then says he thinks Femi learned last week talk s**t and get hit. Heyman then says he is valuable because he prevents people from making bad choices. Heyman then says he gives props to Femi for defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42. Heyman then says Lesnar proved at Clash in Italy that Femi is beatable too.
Heyman then says Femi is not stepping inside the Hell in a Cell with anybody as it’s Brock Lesnar. Heyman then talks about Brock Lesnar’s achievements. Heyman then talks about Lesnar beating Undertaker twice inside Hell in a Cell. Heyman then says Femi didn’t just accept the challenge to step into the cage with Lesnar. Heyman then says the cell is Brock-tagon. Heyman then says Brock Lesnar is a mountain that Oba Femi cannot climb. Heyman then calls Brock Lesnar an unbeatable superstar in WWE history. Heyman then says the beatable one is going to be Oba Femi.
Femi then says Brock Lesnar showed up last week after he called him names and that proves every single thing he said about him got under his skin. Femi then says Lesnar can pretend he doesn’t watch the show, but last week’s actions suggested that he definitely watches the show. Femi then says Paul Heyman is now doing the damage control. Femi then says he thinks Paul Heyman is less than an advocate. Femi then says he thinks Heyman is just a mouth, but it needs to be fed. Femi then says he knows Heyman is scared. Femi then says every man knows when his time has come, whether it is the beginning or the end. Femi then says it’s the final chapter. Femi then says this is where the book closes.
Femi then vows to beat Brock Lesnar in front of his children. Femi then says there’s not a single thing that stands between him and destiny. Femi then tells Paul Heyman to convey his message to Brock Lesnar. Femi then says he will see Lesnar in Hell. Femi then tosses the mic.
We then see Jackie Redmond backstage and she is with Sami Zayn. Redmond says Cody Rhodes is no longer medically cleared to compete tonight. Zayn then says he doesn’t wish ill upon anybody or Cody Rhodes for that matter. Zayn then says he was looking forward to the match. Zayn then says he couldn’t understand why he was defending his title on RAW. Adam Pearce then walks up to Sami Zayn and says he promised Chicago a championship match and he’s going to give it to them. Pearce then says Sami Zayn will defend his Undisputed WWE Title in the main event and it is official.
Chad Gable then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Dragon Lee follows. Ethan Page and Rusev then make their way down to the ring next.
Tag Team Match: Chad Gable and Dragon Lee vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page and “The Lion of Bulgaria” Rusev
The match starts off with Rusev and Ethan Page wasting little time in going after their opponents. Rusev and Page then corner Dragon Lee and continue their beatdown. Page then hits a big boot. Rusev then comes in and he hits Lee with a series of snap suplexes. Chad Gable is now the legal man and he hits a couple of German Suplexes to Rusev and he follows it up with a throw across the ring. Page then enters the fray, but Gable sends him across the ring as well. Lee is now back in action and the babyfaces send the heels to the outside. Gable then launches Lee over the top rope, wiping out their opponents.
Back in the ring, Gable hits Rusev with a series of chops. Rusev then fights back with a snap suplex. Page then comes in off the tag and helps Rusev hit a double suplex. Gable then tries to fight back. Gable then hits Page with a chop, but Page puts him down. Rusev is now the legal man and he drives his shoulder into the midsection of Gable. Page then hits a cheap shot. Rusev then knocks Lee off the apron. Gable then comes in and Rusev catches him mid-air and hits him with a fallaway slam. Rusev then clotheslines Gable. Rusev then hits another clothesline and he runs into a big boot. Gable then knocks Page off the apron.
Gable then hits Rusev with a DDT and both men are down. Tags are then made to Lee and Page. Lee then takes the fight to both men and he hits Page with a Tornado DDT. Lee then hits a kick. Page is then hung up in the corner and Lee hits a stomp in the chest. Rusev then breaks the fall. Rusev and Page then go for a double suplex, but Gable saves Lee and hits Page with an Angle Slam. Rusev then hits a Machka Kick. Lee then superkicks Rusev. He then heads to the top rope and launches himself, but Rusev hits him with a kick and slams him down. Rusev then applies an Accolade and Lee taps out.

After the match, Gable goes for German Suplex on Rusev, but Page helps Rusev launch a two-on-one attack. Joe Hendry then comes to the aid of Gable and he sends Rusev to the outside. Hendry then hits Page with a fallaway slam. Rusev then hits a machka kick. Page then hits an Eagle Plex. Rusev then applies an Accolade to Hendry. Officials then rush to the ring to stop Rusev and Ethan Page.
We then take a look back at what happened last week with Jimmy Uso and LA Knight. We then see Jimmy Uso and he is leaving the building. Jackie Redmond then catches up to him. Jimmy then says it’s time for him to step up to The Bloodline. Jimmy then says he’s going to SmackDown and get Solo Sikoa. We then see LA Knight walking up to Jimmy Uso, but Jacob Fatu ambushes him.
We then see Adam Pearce working on finding Sami Zayn’s new challenger.
We then see Byron Saxton with Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Byron asks about the match between Raquel and Sol and the group’s momentum. Liv says they are the greatest faction of all time. Liv then says she is disappointed in IYO SKY. Liv then says this is Raquel’s night. Liv then says she was supposed to be the champion. Raquel then tells Sol and IYO it is not over until they say it is over. She then says she will not stop until she gets what belongs to her. Roxanne then says IYO wanted to make a statement tonight and next week she will make a statement and IYO won’t make it to SummerSlam.
Bayley then cuts a promo and says Lyra Valkyria waited for hours to meet her at a signing and they got to talk about your career. Bayley then says she became a fan of Valkyria and was her friend. Bayley then says when she had the hardest year of her career, it was Valkyria who kept her level headed. Bayley then says you kept her strong. Bayley then says she shared her experiences and stories with Valkyria and she thought it guided her, but you used it against her. Bayley then says you took the easy way out. Bayley then says she is going to give Lyra one chance to prove she is not everyone else. Bayley then tells Lyra to meet her next week.
It is then announced that next week on RAW Brock Lesnar will be there, there will be a #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match, IYO SKY faces Roxanne Perez and Roman Reigns will be there.
We then see Adam Pearce on his phone and Nick Aldis shows up and Pearce wants to know what Nick wants. Nick says that is a strange way to say thank you. Nick then says he secured a replacement for Sami’s opponent and he is in the building. Nick then says Adam can tell him thank you.
We then see Rusev and Ethan Page with Byron Saxton and Rusev yells about what he is going to do since they won tonight. Page then tells everyone since they won, this is where you cheer. Page then says he was proud to injure Rey and you not only one up him, you not only two up him, you three up him. He then says they took care of the other options in the gauntlet. Rusev then says he would have ripped off Penta’s mask. Page then asks Penta and the fans if they enjoyed the show. He then says the same thing that happened tonight will happen next week. Byron then asks what happens if they face off in the match. Page then says the best man will win and Page says to trust him.
We then see JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio and say they don’t care who Danhausen’s back up is and he will destroy Danhausen and put him in the bin. Dominik then tells Danhausen to give him their money back and un-curse JD. He then says give them what they want or they will make Danhausen’s life a living hell.
Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and CM Punk’s music hits as he makes his return to replace an injured Cody Rhodes.
Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Sami Zayn (c) vs. “The Best In The World” CM Punk
The match starts off with Sami Zayn pie facing CM Punk. Punk then gives his t-shirt to a fan at ringside. Both men then lock up and Punk applies a side headlock. Punk then hits a shoulder tackle. Zayn then applies a side headlock and he hits a thunderous chop. Both men then lock up and Punk drives his shoulder into the midsection of Zayn. Punk then chops on the back of Zayn. Zayn then corners Punk and delivers several right hands to him. Punk then hits an Atomic Drop. Punk then delivers several punches on Zayn. Zayn then hits a shot to the kidney. Zayn then sends Punk to the floor.
Punk then drags Zayn to the outside and slams him face-first into the apron. Punk then hits a suicide dive. Punk then hits a chop before sending Zayn back into the ring. Back in the ring, Zayn clotheslines Punk. Zayn then hits Punk with a chop. Zayn has taken over now and he bounces Punk’s head off the top of the turnbuckle. Zayn then goes for a suplex, but Punk is able to turn things around. He then runs into a big boot. Zayn then drives his elbow into the head of Punk. Punk then tries to fight back, but Zayn hits him with a knee.
Punk then goes for a GTS, but Zayn fights out of it. Punk then hits a series of clotheslines and he follows it up with a kick. Punk then hits a running knee in the corner. He then follows it up with a spinning neckbreaker for a near fall. Punk then goes for a GTS once again, but Zayn counters. He then applies a Hammerlock into a clothesline for a near fall. Punk then heads to the top rope, but Zayn cuts him off. Both men are up on the top rope now and Zayn hits a superplex. Both men are now down. Zayn then heads to the top rope and he launches himself, only to catch a dropkick from Punk.
Zayn is now favoring his left knee. Punk then hits a crossbody. Punk then goes for the cover, but Zayn kicks out at two. Both men are now exchanging strikes in the middle of the ring. Both men then run into each other and both men are down again. Punk and Zayn then trade strikes once again. Punk then goes for a GTS, but instead hits Zayn with a kick and he follows it up with a step-up knee in the corner. Zayn then hits Punk with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Punk then fights back with a series of knee attacks and he follows it up with a running bulldog. Punk then heads to the top rope and he hits an elbow drop for a near fall.
Punk then places Zayn in an Anaconda Vice and Zayn breaks the hold. Punk then goes for a Sharpshooter, but Zayn is able to counter. Both men then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring. Punk then goes for a GTS, but Zayn counters and hits a GTS of his own for a near fall. Zayn then goes for a Helluva Kick, but Punk hits him with an exploder in the corner. Punk then goes for a Helluva Kick, but Zayn hits him with another GTS and he follows it up with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Zayn then slaps Punk repeatedly and Punk is fighting back. Punk then takes the fight to Zayn. Punk then hits Zayn with a running knee. Zayn then misses a Helluva Kick. Punk then hits Zayn with a Helluva Kick of his own and he follows it up with a GTS for the win.
The winner and new Undisputed WWE Champion, “The Best In The World” CM Punk!
After the match, Punk celebrates in the ring as pyro goes off in the arena. Punk then goes through the crowd and celebrates more as the show comes to a close.
