Tonight’s WWE RAW airing July 28, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The WWE SummerSlam go-home show sees WWE World Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) defend their titles against LWO (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro). Plus, WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “The Best In The World” CM Punk will appear ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship clash at SummerSlam.
The show kicks off at 8:00 PM ET on Netflix and is available for international fans on streaming platforms like Netflix. The show opens up with the wrestlers and crew on the stage for another Hulk Hogan tribute. Hogan’s son Nick, his wife and Eric Bischoff are present as well. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque then speaks and says we’ve lost one of the biggest and most globally recognized icons in the world. Triple H then says Hogan is a man he grew up watching and was fortunate enough to share the ring with. Triple H then says he also called Hogan a friend. Triple H then says Hogan captivated millions of people and inspired them worldwide. Triple H then says we would not be standing here without him. Triple H then sets up a ten-bell salute for Hogan.
The fans then show some respect and chant Hogan’s name. A Hulk Hogan video package is then shown. The crowd then continues to chant for Hulk Hogan and we see people dressed as him, while the Hogan memorial graphic is displayed.
Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show, while we get some video footage of a crew working to get things set up for SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium. We then get a drone shot of the RAW host venue, while Cole lists the attendance of tonight’s show as 14,703. Corey Graves is then shown on commentary with Cole.
Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring through the crowd as he is being introduced by ring announcer Alicia Taylor. Commentary says Jey will face Bronson Reed in the RAW main event. Jey then continues to play to the crowd after his music stops. Before Jey can speak, Paul Heyman interrupts him. Heyman then introduces himself and says he is not trying to disrespect Jey and he came to the ring to speak to Jey man-to-man. Heyman then says he wants to talk to Jey about family and he sees the look in Jey’s eye, but backs up when he sees the look in Jey’s eye and says he can’t believe he agreed to team up with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in the name of family. Heyman then tells Jey that family will always let him down and get him in trouble and that’s not a prediction but a prophecy.
Heyman. then asks if Jey’s mother told him when he was a kid that Santa Claus left the presents under the tree. Heyman then says Santa did not do that and Jey’s mother lied to him. Heyman then tells the fans that their mothers lied to them too, except for the Jewish ones because his tribe knows better. Heyman then asks if Jey’s father Rikishi told him he wanted Jey to be bigger than he ever was. Heyman then says Jey’s father lied to him too. Heyman then asks the same about Roman Reigns and says Reigns lied to Jey too. Heyman then says he wasn’t saying it out of anger or malice. Heyman then says “Because Jey Uso, I love you.” Heyman then says he loves Jey like family.
Jey then says family is why he’s where he is now and Heyman is disrespecting him and telling him what he can do without Reigns. Jey then says he went out on his own and ended up winning the World Heavyweight Championship and Heyman screwed Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 41 and adds that whatever happens tonight and at SummerSlam is on Heyman. Jey then says four letters, one word ugh ugh Yeet. Jey then says, “We’re gonna run this shit back.” Jey then starts to dance and celebrate again.
Commentary then hypes GUNTHER’s message for CM Punk, the WWE Tag Team Title Match and an 8-Woman Tag Team Match for later in the show.
AJ Styles then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Kabuki Warriors follow. The Judgment Day then make their way down to the ring next.
The match starts off with Dominik Mysterio getting a cheap shot in on AJ Styles. Styles then wants Mysterio, but Mysterio quickly tags out to Raquel Rodriguez. Styles is frustrated and Asuka comes in. Asuka then applies a side headlock, but Rodriguez pushes her off. Asuka then dropkicks Rodriguez and attacks Roxanne Perez. Mysterio then avoids an attack. Rodriguez then grabs Asuka, but Asuka elbows her and strikes away at her. Asuka then kicks Rodriguez in the face several times and follows it up with a superkick. Kairi Sane then tags in. The Kabuki Warriors then try to send Rodriguez, but she puts the brakes on and sends them to the ropes. The Kabuki Warriors then quickly strike away at Rodriguez and hit stereo dropkicks for a one count.
Sane then goes to the top rope for a cross-body block, but Rodriguez catches her. Perez then tags in as Rodriguez hits snake eyes. Rodriguez then hits Perez with a fallaway slam into Sane for a two count. Perez then drops Sane down onto the mat a few times. Sane then reverses a whip into the ropes and hits a head-scissor takeover before taking Perez down by the hair. Sane then chops away at Perez’s chest and hits her with a corner dropkick. Sane then goes for a sliding forearm, but Mysterio pulls Perez away. Rodriguez then hits a big boot on Sane on the floor as the referee deals with Asuka.
Perez then pins Sane, but Sane kicks out. Perez then sends Sane crashing onto the floor off the apron, then tags in Rodriguez. Rodriguez then nails Sane with a clothesline, but Sane responds with a spear on Rodriguez. Sane then looks to tag in Asuka, but Rodriguez pulls her off the apron and Dominik nails Styles with a forearm. Rodriguez then tags back in, but Sane sends her crashing into the ring post shoulder first and tags in Styles.
Styles then pulls Dominik into the ring, then hits a sliding forearm on him and sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm. Perez then steps in front of Dominik to fend Styles off, but Styles hits a Pele Kick on Dominik and Asuka takes out Perez. Styles then assists Sane in hitting a crossbody on Rodriguez on the outside, then hits the Phenomenal Forearm on Dominik for the win.

We then see a recap from last week’s RAW, where Sheamus defeated Rusev with a Brogue Kick. We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond congratulates Sheamus on winning his match. Grayson Waller and The New Day, who are still dressed in black, mourning the loss of the WWE World Tag Team Championship, then approach him. Waller says he dumped Austin Theory and wants to take it to Sheamus. Sheamus then says Waller is like an infection. Sheamus then says he is excited to take him on. Waller then turns and sees that The New Day isn’t behind him anymore.
Sheamus then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Grayson Waller follows.
The match starts off with Waller delivering some forearms and knees on Sheamus. He then follows it up with a rolling flatliner, but Sheamus hits an over the shoulder powerslam on Waller and wears him down with a submission using his mouth. Sheamus then hits a rolling Fireman’s Carry Slam on Waller on the floor on the outside, then sends him back in the ring. Waller then responds with a Tornado DDT on Sheamus on the apron off the middle rope, then sets up for the rolling Stunner. Sheamus then intercepts Waller with a knee to the side of his face, then hits The Ten Beats Of The Bodhran on him and sets up for the Brogue Kick. Rusev then hops up on the apron, but Sheamus nails him and hits a Brogue Kick on Waller for the win.

After the match, Rusev grabs Sheamus’ shillelagh and repeatedly hits him with it. The referee then grabs the shillelagh from Rusev, but Rusev cinches in The Accolade on Sheamus. The referee then calls for help. More referees then run down to try to pull Rusev off Sheamus, but they can’t. Rusev then voluntarily releases the hold and a psychotic look crosses his face as he stands over Sheamus.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Women’s World Champion Naomi. Redmond asks Naomi about facing Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Redmond then asks Naomi how is she preparing knowing that Ripley and SKY will be prepared for her this time. Naomi looks like she isn’t happy that Redmond asked that question and she is not passive-aggressive, but aggressive-aggressive. Naomi then says she doesn’t care who you throw at her. Naomi then says whether it’s the past, present or future of the division, she’ll take them all out. Naomi then says when she walks out of SummerSlam and proves all the haters wrong, they can’t say they weren’t warned to proceed with caution.
We then see Lyra Valkyria walking backstage as we will hear from her next.
We then get a video showing us a sneak peek of WWE Unreal, which is premiering tomorrow on Netflix.
We then get a video clip from WrestleMania III, with the slam heard around the world when Hulk Hogan body-slammed André the Giant.
We then get video footage of WWE Superstars reflecting on the life and legacy of Hulk Hogan. Logan Paul says there is only one Hulk Hogan. He then says Hogan was such a larger-than-life character and person. He then says it doesn’t make sense that he’s not here anymore. AJ Styles then says Hogan was the guy when it came to pro wrestling. He then says he is the reason the WWE is what it is today. WWE Hall of Famer “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan then says he lost a mentor and an icon. WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart then says Hogan loved wrestling and the fans. Natalya then says Hogan transcended pro wrestling and moved to pop culture. Jey Uso then says Hogan is the reason they’re here today. The Miz then says Hogan is on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling. He then says Hogan left a legacy. Cody Rhodes then says Hogan is the model for WWE Superstars. He then says it’s cool to be a wrestler, but it’s different to be a superstar and their Babe Ruth isn’t with them anymore.
We then head to the back, where “Big” Bronson Reed is with Paul Heyman. Heyman says he hears that Jey Uso’s family thinks they’re nothing more than a group without a leader since Seth Rollins is out for an extended period of time. Bron Breakker then says they now have a leader. Breakker then says Reed is going to destroy and Tsunami Jey Uso and they’ll show total control over WWE. He then says it starts tonight with Reed. Reed then smiles and says, “Tonight, Jey Uso and any member of his ‘family,’ I am going to leave down, out, and Tsunamied.” Reed then walks off. Heyman then says, “That worked.” Breakker then says he has a plan and Heyman looks confused.
We then get a recap from last week’s RAW, where Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch attacked Lyra Valkyria. This would cost Valkyria and Bayley the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Lyra Valkyria’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Valkyria starts off by saying SummerSlam is just a few days away and her big shoes are her Becky Stoppers. She then says she will be the first ever two time Women’s Intercontinental Champion in a few days and Becky Lynch will have to beat her into the ground if she wants to retain her title. Valkyria then says Lynch doesn’t know what she’s capable of and she is prepared to go to a place she’s never gone to before. Lynch’s music then hits, but she doesn’t make her way out. Valkyria then figures out that Lynch is standing behind her and hits a dropkick on her through the middle rope, then grabs the kendo stick Lynch was holding and repeatedly hits her with it. Lynch then takes the kendo stick back, but Valkyria gets Lynch up on her shoulders. Lynch then escapes and slides out of the ring and she is irate.
We then head to the back, where Corey Graves is interviewing Sami Zayn. Graves asks Zayn what he is hoping to accomplish. Zayn says he is hoping to be done with Kross once and for all because Kross is obsessed with him. Zayn then says Kross wants some warped truth from him, but Zayn doesn’t care. Zayn then says it’s impeding him. Zayn then says it’s standing in the way of him achieving his goals. Zayn then says he wants to be a World Champion. Zayn then says Kross has to be finished at SummerSlam. Karrion Kross then interrupts the interview and tells Graves to go away. Kross says he has the idea to hit Zayn in the injured ribs with a steel pipe again, but then he thought Zayn wouldn’t make it to SummerSlam. Kross then says that doesn’t work for him. Kross then says he usually gets everyone in WWE to show their true colors except Zayn. Kross then says that’s pissing him off. Kross then says when he beats Zayn at SummerSlam, he’ll get Zayn to say, “Kross told the truth.” Kross then says then he’ll go away and Zayn can be World Champion. Kross then says Zayn is no different than anyone else and is no better than him. Scarlett then gives Kross the pipe and Kross gives it to Zayn. Zayn then says Kross thinks he’s a puppet master. Zayn then says what does he really want. Zayn then says If Kross beats him at SummerSlam he’ll say whatever it is he wants him to say. Zayn then says maybe Kross is wrong about everything, even himself. Kross then says when Zayn beats him at SummerSlam because he will do that, Kross will look at him and say that he was wrong. Zayn then gives the pipe back. Zayn then says, “I’ll see you at SummerSlam,” and walks off. Kross then cradles the pipe and smiles.
WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Bayley. Redmond notes that Bayley isn’t booked for SummerSlam and questions what is next. Bayley says she lost her opportunity at the Intercontinental and tag titles. Bayley then says she missed out on WrestleMania and now isn’t booked for SummerSlam. A dejected Bayley then says she was at a loss for words for the first time in he career and then walks away.
Chelsea Green, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre then make their way down to the ring and Rhea Ripley, Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer and IYO SKY follow.
The match starts off with Naomi and Rhea Ripley. Naomi slides under a big boot and clubs away at Ripley. Naomi then stomps Ripley’s spine and talks trash to the crowd. Naomi then hits the ropes, but Ripley grabs her and hits a couple of short-arm clotheslines. Ripley then slams her onto her face. Naomi then tags Chelsea Green in and Green isn’t happy. Green is nervous, but Ripley tags Nikki Bella in. Green then doesn’t look nervous to face the WWE Hall of Famer. Bella then hits Green with a Thesz Press and punches away at her. Bella then hits a facebuster before driving her into the Secret Hervice. Bella then rolls her up for a two count. Bella then hits a spinebuster. Green then quickly scurries out of the ring. Bella then chases her around the ring. Green then kicks her away and tags Alba Fyre in. Bella then forearms Fyre and attacks Green. Fyre then superkicks her down. Fyre then sends Bella into a punch from Piper Niven. Niven then tags in and hits Bella with an elbow drop for a two count.
Niven then sends Bella crashing into the corner face first, then tags in Naomi. Naomi then hits a strike on Bella, then tags in Niven. Naomi then jams her boot into Bella’s neck and Niven charges at Bella in the corner. Fyre then delivers some stomps on Bella in the corner and Niven and Green wear down Bella from the apron while Fyre distracts the referee. Naomi then tags in and sends Bella crashing into the middle turnbuckle, then hits an open palm strike on Bella.
SKY and Fyre then tag in and SKY hits a dropkick on Fyre. She then follows it up with a double stomp on her chest, but Green tags in and continues wearing down SKY. Niven and Green then tag in and continue wearing down SKY, but Naomi tags back in and hits a stomp on SKY. She then follows it up with a leg drop and tags in Green. Fyre then tags in and triple teams on SKY with Green and Niven. Fyre then hits a senton on her and goes for a pin, but Vaquer breaks the fall. SKY then rolls up Fyre, but Fyre kicks out. SKY then hits a flapjack on Fyre, but Vaquer tags in and hits a crossbody on Green off the top rope. She then hits an open palm strike on Green and meteoras on Naomi, Niven, Fyre and Green. Vaquer then hits a back suplex on Green and follows it up with a Devil’s Kiss.
Naomi then grabs the Women’s World Championship belt and looks to leave, but SKY sends her back in the ring. Niven then nails SKY and Bella, but Ripley hits a headbutt on Niven and hits the Rip Tide on her. Green then slaps Ripley, opening the door for Vaquer to hit the SVB on her for the win.
The winners of the 8-Woman Tag Team Match, IYO SKY, “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley, “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella!
We then get a recap of El Grande Americano trying to help American Made, but they didn’t want his help and this cost them the match against the LWO.
We then head to the back in The Judgment Day club house, where Finn Bálor gives them a pep talk. Bálor says they have been down and out before. Bálor then says all these factions come and go, but the only one that remains is The Judgment Day. Dominik then asks Bálor if he wants any assistance, but Bálor assures him he’ll be fine. Roxanne then hands Dominik a Switch 2 to play some 2K25 and Raquel reminds Dominik that Liv loves 2K25 too. Dominik then says he should call her.
Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Stephanie Vaquer and Nikki Bella are then shown celebrating their win backstage. They are about to head to their locker room, but SKY grabs Ripley by the arm. Ripley then says they are friends now, but she will finally have SKY’s number at SummerSlam. SKY then says Ripley has never beaten her and never will. Ripley then says we’ll see about that.
The Judgment Day then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Finn Bálor and Wilde locking up. Wilde then hits a dropkick on Finn Bálor, then tags in Del Toro. Del Toro then hits a double ax handle on Bálor, but Bálor hits a dropkick on Del Toro and tags in JD McDonagh. Wilde then tags back in and immediately tags out to Del Toro and both men double team on Bálor. Del Toro then hits a springboard moonsault on McDonagh off the bottom rope, but McDonagh sends Del Toro into the corner and tags in Wilde. Wilde then hits a splash on McDonagh and Bálor on the outside.
Wilde then looks to hit another splash on McDonagh, but McDonagh intercepts him with a dropkick to his chest and tags in Bálor. Bálor then hits a series of stomps on Wilde, then tags in McDonagh. McDonagh then hits a leg drop on the back of Wilde’s neck, but Del Toro tags in and hits a crossbody on McDonagh off the top rope. He then hits a dropkick on him and follows it up with a tijeras, then hits a dropkick on him as he is draped off the top rope by his knees and goes for a pin. McDonagh then kicks out.
Wilde then tags in and hits a double suplex on Bálor and McDonagh with Del Toro. Del Toro then sends Bálor back into the ring and hits a moonsault to him off the middle rope. Del Toro (who has tagged back in) then flies off the ropes to keep Bálor down, but El Grande Americano appears and distracts Del Toro. Dragon Lee then pulls Americano off the apron and brawls with him to the back, opening the door for Bálor to roll up Del Toro. Del Toro then kicks out. A masked man then trips Del Toro on the apron, opening the door for Bálor to hit a Coup De Grace on Del Toro for the win.

We then see “Main Event” Jey Uso warming up for his main event match against “Big” Bronson Reed.
We then see World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER walking backstage as he will hear from him next.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. GUNTHER starts off by patting himself on the back for going head-to-head on the mic with the supposedly best in the world. GUNTHER says he left the Voice of the Voiceless speechless last week. A “you tapped out” chant then breaks out. GUNTHER then says that might be true, but he wouldn’t run out of things to say about CM Punk. GUNTHER then says he made Punk shut the hell up last week.
CM Punk’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Punk tells GUNTHER he was more dumbfounded last week, but not because of what GUNTHER said. Punk then says it dawned on him last week that he doesn’t want to be World Heavyweight Champion because he needs to be World Heavyweight Champion. Punk then emphasizes just how much he needs to be World Heavyweight Champion, then says wrestling is his addiction and he needs to be World Heavyweight Champion so that he can raise the belt as a thank you to the fans. Punk then says GUNTHER is being as arrogant as him, but can’t back it up like he can. GUNTHER then tells Punk to shut up, but Punk cuts him off and says GUNTHER is not on his level. Punk then says he’ll leave SummerSlam as World Heavyweight Champion and GUNTHER will get to share the ring with the “Best In The World” and know what that feeling is like. GUNTHER is left fuming as Punk exits the ring and heads to the back.
Cole and Graves then run through the Summerslam card.
Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Bronson Reed follows.
The match starts off with Uso ducking a clothesline and lays in some punches. Reed then grabs him by the throat and sends him to the corner. Uso then sidesteps Reed and does the ten punches in the corner. Reed then puts the brakes on and sends Uso to the corner. Uso then kicks Reed in the legs as he charges and hits him a running hip attack for a two count. Uso then hits the ropes and hits a clothesline, but Reed doesn’t go down. Uso then tries again, but Reed stays standing. Uso then does a third attempt, but Reed hits a back elbow. Reed then mocks the “YEET” and hits a senton splash. Reed then pulls Uso up and headbutts him back down. Reed then talks trash and poses. Reed then chokes him on the middle rope and stands on his chest. Reed then grabs Uso, but Uso starts punching him back. Reed then quickly clubs him in the spine to take him down. Reed then puts Uso in the corner and sends him to the opposite corner. Uso then hits the corner hard and drops to the canvas. Reed then balls up his fist and the crowd chants, “Let’s go, Uso.” Uso then boots Reed back and comes off the second rope with a cross-body block, but Reed catches him and hits the World’s Strongest Slam. Reed then poses.
Reed then looks to hit a running senton on Jey, but Jey rolls out of the way and delivers some right hands on Reed. Bron Breakker then appears out of nowhere and spears Jey, causing the disqualification.

After the match, Breakker and Reed continue beating down Jey until Roman Reigns’ music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He then delivers some right hands on both Reed and Breakker, then clotheslines Breakker out of the ring and looks to get Reed up on his shoulders. Reed then blocks Reigns, but Reigns sends him crashing into the corner shoulder first. Jey then nails Breakker with a superkick and charges at Reed on the outside as Reigns charges at Breakker on the other side of the ring. Breakker then hits Reigns with a spear and Reed nails Jey with a clothesline. Breakker then hits a spear on Jey back inside the ring and Reed follows it up with a Tsunami. Breakker then sends Reigns crashing over the announce desk and stands tall on top of it before Reed hits a Tsunami on Reigns, Breakker then spears both Jey and Reigns through the barricade near the timekeeper’s ares and and the show comes to a close.
