WWE RAW Results (1/26/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with commentary welcoming us as we see a video highlighting the Riyadh Season Stadium in Saudi Arabia, which is built to house the Royal Rumble this weekend.

We then see WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer arriving to the building as she will be in a 6-Woman Tag Team Match tonight. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are then shown getting their hair done. “Big” Bronson Reed is then shown with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, who is here to discuss his suspension with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.

AJ Styles’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. AJ grabs a mic and starts off by welcoming everyone to RAW. AJ then says there is someone in the back who says it is the last time he will be able to say that. AJ then says GUNTHER vows to end his career at the Royal Rumble. AJ then says he isn’t going anywhere. AJ then says he did not hide from anyone that this is the year that he retires. AJ then says he wants everyone to enjoy it together. AJ then says John Cena showed him it can take a year to say goodbye. AJ then says last year was the year of Cena. AJ then says this can be the year of AJ Styles. AJ then says there are so many people in so many locker rooms he wants to wrestle one more time. AJ then says he wants to be World Champion one more time. AJ then says GUNTHER is good, but he is not phenomenal.

CM Punk’s music then interrupts and he makes his way down to the ring. Punk then grabs a mic and starts off by asking AJ if he figured out why Punk is out here tonight. Punk then says he has known AJ for more than 20 years. Punk then says they have been friends and they have been enemies. Punk then says now there is nothing but respect. Punk then asks AJ what is he doing. Punk then says putting your career on the line against GUNTHER. Punk then says if it doesn’t go your way, your career is over. Punk then says there is a lot of gas in the tank and moments to make in front of these people. Punk then says he has looked at AJ’s career and the stakes are too high on Saturday.

AJ then says he wants to know if Punk doesn’t think he can beat GUNTHER. Punk then says he isn’t saying that and AJ says that is what Punk is implying. Punk then says we saw him beat GUNTHER, but the referee raised GUNTHER’s hand. Punk then says if you don’t win on Saturday, we will never see CM Punk versus AJ Styles in a WWE ring. Punk then looks around. AJ then says he knows Punk isn’t saying it that way, but he says it comes off disrespectful. Punk then says AJ is being selfish.

AJ then says he knows he can beat GUNTHER and he knows he can beat Punk. Punk then says there it is. Punk then says it is hard to beat a good team twice. Punk then says if you lose on Saturday, you can’t prove you can beat him. Punk then says golly gee, what can he do. AJ then suggests they fight tonight. AJ then says if he beats Punk and beats GUNTHER, he is the number one contender for the title. Punk then tells AJ and Toronto that he won the title on November 1st and he would be a fighting champion. Punk then says if they are going to do it tonight, it is going to be for the belt. Punk then announces that the match is happening. Punk and AJ then shake on it.

We then look back at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Stephanie Vaquer and RHIYO follow.

6-Woman Tag Team Match: The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez, “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan) vs. WWE Women’s World Champion “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquer and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions RHIYO (“The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley and “The Genius of the Sky” IYO SKY)

The match starts off with IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez. Perez then slaps her and SKY hits the ropes hard, does some handsprings, trips her and punches her in the face. Raquel Rodriguez then quickly distracts SKY and Perez takes her down, punching away at her. Liv Morgan then tags in and stomps SKY. Rodriguez then tags in and hits some back elbows in the corner. Morgan then tags in and goes for a scoop slam, but SKY slides off and tags Stephanie Vaquer in. Vaquer then hits Morgan with a dropkick followed by a clothesline. Vaquer then sends Morgan into the ropes and avoids a sunset flip. Vaquer then hits a leg drop for a two count. Vaquer then goes for an SVB, but Morgan gets out.

Vaquer then fights back and she hits a vertical suplex. Perez then tries to distract her as does Rodriguez. Vaquer then knocks them both down. Vaquer then takes it to Morgan and hits a back suplex. Vaquer then goes for the Devil’s Kiss, but Rodriguez runs in and kicks her in the ribs. Raquel then hits some elbow drops to Vaquer and she gets a near fall. Perez then tags in and she kicks Vaquer. Perez then chokes Vaquer in the ropes. Perez then chokes Vaquer in the corner and she Irish whips Vaquer. Liv then tags in and she hits a hip. Liv then hits a boot and a drop kick for a near fall. Liv then cinches in a reverse chin lock. Vaquer then hits a snap mare and Liv hits a clothesline. Raquel then tags in and she hits a leg drop and gets a near fall. Raquel then cinches in a chin bar and a half nelson. Vaquer then hits some punches to escape, but Raquel hits a shoulder tackle. Perez then tags in. She then walks over Vaquer and hits a moonsault for a near fall. Perez then hits a slap and an Irish whip. Vaquer then hits a boot and a head butt to Vaquer. Vaquer then hits a kick to Perez.

Vaquer then crawls across the ring and Liv pulls IYO off the apron. Perez then hits an elbow drop to Vaquer. Rhea then walks after Liv and Raquel hits Rhea from behind and sends her into the ring steps. Perez then hits an uppercut in the corner and Raquel tags in. Vaquer then avoids an elbow and Liv tags in. Vaquer then hits a back breaker. IYO then tags in and so does Perez. IYO then hits a shotei followed by a suplex. IYO then goes to the apron on an Irish whip and she kicks Perez and hits a missile drop kick. IYO then. hits a running double knee strike and Liv pulls Perez out of the way on a moonsault. IYO then hits a butterfly back breaker. Perez then grabs the ring skirt to distract the referee.

Perez then hits a rake of the eyes and Liv tags in. Liv then hits a Codebreaker followed by a side Russian leg sweep from Perez for a near fall by Liv. Liv then misses the ObLIVion and IYO hits a drop kick. Rhea then tags in and she hits short arm clotheslines on Liv followed by a back heel kick and a fallaway slam. Rhea then hits a head butt to Raquel. Rhea then goes for a Razor’s Edge and she sends Liv into Raquel. Rhea then counters a Pop Rox into a face buster and a short arm clothesline. Rhea then kicks Raquel and Raquel sends Rhea to the apron. Rhea then hits a forearm. Rhea then goes up top and hits a missile drop kick. Rhea then blocks a kick and hits a punch. Liv then escapes the RipTide.

Rhea then hits an elbow and Liv hits a kick. Liv then hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Perez then takes care of IYO. Vaquer then hits the Eat Defeat. Raquel then hits a boot to Vaquer. Vaquer then escapes a Tejana Bomb and Raquel goes to the floor. Vaquer then hits a cross body off the turnbuckles and to the floor. Perez then tags in when Liv goes for obLIVion. Perez then hits a chop block. Rhea then blocks a Codebreaker and IYO hits a missile drop kick. Rhea then hits a head butt to Perez and a RipTide for the win.

We then head to the back, where Finn Bálor stops CM Punk and he says he is thinking about everything that happened. Finn then says while it didn’t go as he wanted, it was the greatest moment of his career. Finn then says you gave him his flowers, but he didn’t return them. Finn then says he will do it now. Finn then thanks Punk. Punk then thanks Finn. He then says he isn’t the best in the world without facing the best. He then says he is not just handing out title shots. He then says John left and AJ is close to leaving. Punk then tells Finn if he wants to be champ, he might need to ditch The Judgment Day because he won’t be a success around garbage like Dominik. He then tells Finn to win the Rumble and he will see him in Vegas.

Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker and Paul Heyman then make their way down to the ring. Heyman then grabs a mic and starts off by saying that the fans are booing him and he hasn’t said anything yet. Heyman then introduces himself and the rest of The Vision. Heyman then insults Toronto and he tells them it will go on all night if they continue to boo him. Heyman then says he brought the hottest prospect of the next few years, Austin Theory. Heyman then mentions the master of the Tsunami and the man who has victory after victory over Roman Reigns, Bronson Reed. Heyman then mentions Logan Paul. Heyman then mentions the reason we are all here tonight, Bron Breakker.

Heyman then says Bron is here for a face to face meeting with Adam Pearce. Heyman then says he thanks Mr. Pearce for this offer, but before he comes out, we need to look at why this meeting was necessary. We then see what transpired two weeks ago. Heyman then says that was conduct unbecoming an official. Heyman then says people in Canada know that. We then see what happened last week with the brass knuckles. Heyman then says it is time for Pearce to come to the ring, at his leisure.

Adam Pearce then makes his way down to the ring. Adam says he is not out here to make excuses. Adam then says he does not have a problem wearing his heart on a sleeve. Adam then says he put his hands on Bron first and he apologizes. Adam then tries to talk to Paul Heyman about lifting the suspension and putting Bron in the Royal Rumble and Pearce says it is done. Heyman then says he is okay with that. Adam then says Heyman is so good and he tells Logan, Bronson and Austin they are in the Rumble. Adam then tells Austin that if it wasn’t for brass knuckles, he could have beaten Rey Mysterio. He then says Austin deserves redemption and he gets it tonight.

Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee and Penta then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

Singles Match: WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio vs. The Vision’s Austin Theory

The match starts off with both men lock up and Theory gives a clean break. Rey theN pushes Theory and Theory kicks and chokes Rey. Both men then go to the floor and Theory sends Rey into the ringside barrier and apron. Theory then cinches in a wrist lock. Rey then hits some forearms to try to escape, but Theory holds on. Rey then hits some kicks to the leg followed by forearms. Rey then hits a springboard head scissors take down and Theory fires back with a back elbow. Theory then hits some punches. Rey then hits a drop kick to the knees. Rey then goes for a satellite head scissors and Theory blocks it and counters with a double knee gut buster. Theory then cinches in a reverse chin lock. Theory then pulls Rey to the mat and returns to the reverse chin lock. Theory then hits some punches.

Theory then goes for the mask and Rey stomps on the foot to get free. Rey then hits a knee and a boot to the head to send Theory into the ropes. Theory then escapes the ropes before Rey can hit a 619. Rey then goes to the apron and Theory catches him on a seated splash. Theory then blocks it, but Rey hits a rana. Rey then hits a seated splash onto Theory and he returns to the ring. Theory then returns to the ring and he goes to the floor again. Rey then follows and Theory sends Rey face first into the ring steps.

Theory then sends Rey back into the ring. Theory then hits some shoulders in the corner and he follows it up with a back breaker for a near fall. Theory then cinches in an arm bar. Rey then hits a punch. Theory then hits a fallaway slam. Rey then hits a head scissors take down and he punches Theory from the turnbuckles. Theory then gets Rey on his shoulders, but Rey escapes. Rey then goes for a springboard move and Theory hits a forearm for a near fall. Theory then cinches in a waist lock and he puts Rey on the turnbuckles.

Theory then goes to the turnbuckles, but Rey hits an elbow. Theory then gets Rey on his shoulders and Rey pulls them over the top rope and to the floor and Rey stays on Theory’s shoulders. Rey then hits a head scissors into the apron. Logan then hits Lee and Penta takes care of Logan. Reed then tosses Lee into the ringside barrier. Theory then uses the mayhem on the floor to hit a stomp for the win.

The winner of the Singles Match, The Vision’s Austin Theory!

After the match, Reed attacks Penta. Lee then pulls Reed off, but Logan punches Lee. Bron then hits a spear. Logan then goes up top and he hits a frog splash. Bron then spears Penta and Reed pulls him into the corner for a Tsunami. The referee then tries to stop them from doing any more damage to Rey, but that does not work. They then hold Penta for a spear.

We then see Natalya and she tells Maxxine she made her and she failed. She then says you didn’t fail you, you failed her. Natalya then says you are just like the rest of them. Natalya then says because you rolled with a legend, you thought you could roll like a legend. Natalya then says that will never happen again. Natalya then says this is a whole new her. Natalya then says after she is done with Maxxine, she is coming for it all. Natalya then says she elevates, but Nattie decimates.

We then see Raquel screaming for Vaquer and Bayley yells at Raquel. Bayley then tells Raquel where Pearce’s office is. Lyra then shows up and Raquel says she has other business to deal with. Vaquer then jumps Raquel and they have to be separated.

We then see Byron Saxton in the interview area with Je’Von Evans. Byron brings up what happened last week with the referee stoppage. He then asks what happened. Evans says he is all good and nothing bad happened to his shoulder. Evans then says sometimes he gets too excited. Evans then says he feels good and he is ready to focus on what is next. Byron then asks what is next. The crowd then chants for the Blue Jays because Evans is wearing a Red Sox beanie. Evans then says there a lot of goals he wants to accomplish and one of them is to main event Wrestlemania. Evans then says that means he has to win the Royal Rumble. Evans then says he is in the Rumble. Evans then says he has something for everyone in the Rumble.

We then get a Roman Reigns video package.

We then go to a previously recorded interview with GUNTHER. Michael Cole mentions GUNTHER’s match on Saturday and he asks why did he force AJ Styles to put his career on the line. GUNTHER then asks what does he gain by beating AJ in a standard match. GUNTHER then says now he has something phenomenal to fight for. GUNTHER then says he can end AJ’s career. Cole then asks why rob the fans of the great moments with AJ Styles.

GUNTHER then says he is tired of the old timers overstaying their welcomes. GUNTHER then says those moments belong to him. GUNTHER then says Bill Goldberg was chasing a moment and he took it. GUNTHER then says John Cena was chasing moment after moment for a year, but they will talk about Cena giving up in his last match. GUNTHER then talks about AJ having a farewell tour. GUNTHER then says he does not want AJ taking away his moments. GUNTHER then tells Cole he falls in that category too. He then asks Cole how long is he going to stay around and chase that moment. GUNTHER then says he can kick over Cole’s chair now and end his career. He then tells Cole not to worry because he wants Cole to call the match on Saturday to say that the career of AJ Styles is over. GUNTHER then chuckles and says it will be a great and memorable.

Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night. The New Day, Grayson Waller, Los Americanos, Alpha Academy and American Made then follow.

We then head to the back, where we see that Adam Pearce is on the phone and Finn Bálor stops by to say he is in the Royal Rumble. Adam. then tells Finn that he got his title match last week and they are already at thirty spots. Finn then says no Royal Rumble is full without him. Adam then says the Rumble is full. Finn then says this isn’t over. Liv then asks Finn about CM Punk. She then says Punk showed him up last week in his home town and he raised your hand like a participation trophy. She then says Punk does not want you to win the title, but the Judgment Day do. Finn then tells Liv there is more than that and he has some thinking to do.

WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match: The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis and Akira Tozawa) vs. American Made (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano)

The match starts off with Kofi and Bravo and Bravo hits an Irish whip and a monkey flip, but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi then hits a monkey flip to Bravo ad he rolls through. Woods then distracts Bravo and Kofi hits Bravo from behind. Bravo then hits a forearm to the back and Rayo tags in. Bravo and Rayo then hit flying head butts to Kofi. Tozawa then tags in and he hits a head scissors on Rayo. Julius then tags in and Tozawa sends Bravo onto Rayo on the floor. Julius then hits a clothesline to Tozawa and Brutus knocks Kofi and Woods to the floor. Julius then hits a knee to Otis off Brutus’ back. Brutus then hits a Brutus ball to several men. They then send Otis shoulder first into the ring steps.

Julius then sends Tozawa back into the ring and he knees Tozawa in the ribs. Brutus then tags in and they hit a double gut buster. Brutus then hits a forearm to the side of the head. Brutus then hits another forearm and Julius tags in. Julius then hits a suplex and he holds on and rolls through into a front face lock. Tozawa then hits some punches. Rayo then tags in and he slams Tozawa. Rayo then stomps on the head. Rayo then cinches in a half nelson and a chin bar. Rayo then stomps on the ankle and Bravo tags in. Bravo then hits a forearm and a slingshot senton onto Tozawa while on Rayo’s knees. Bravo then cinches in a front face lock. Woods then tags in and he hits some forearms. Woods then kicks Tozawa in the corner. Kofi then tags in and kicks Tozawa. Woods then hits a drop kick in the corner.

Tozawa then hits some elbows to Woods and Woods hits a back heel kick. Kofi then tags in and Woods hits an Irish whip. Kofi then hits a leg drop while Woods holds Tozawa up. Woods then kicks Tozawa and tags Kofi in. Kofi then gets on Woods’ shoulders and Tozawa gets his knees up. Rayo then tags in and he kicks Tozawa. Rayo then cinches in a front face lock. Bravo then tags in and Bravo is sent into the tree of woe and Tozawa sends Rayo into Bravo. Julius then knocks Otis off the apron and Tozawa sends Julius into the ropes. Bravo then hits a reverse airplane spin and Tozawa hits a missile drop kick. Tozawa then makes his way to the corner to tag in Otis. Otis then hits some clotheslines to Julius and Woods followed by Kofi. Otis then hits back body drops. Otis then hits a splash to Woods and Bravo and Bravo falls onto Woods. Otis then hits a caterpillar and an elbow to Julius, but the cover is broken up.

Tozawa then hits a double hesitation DDT to Kofi and Brutus. Tozawa then hits a suicide dive to Rayo. Tozawa then hits suicide dives to everyone else. The shirt then comes off. Kofi then misses the Trouble in Paradise. Tozawa then hits a kick and he goes up top for a back senton. Waller then crotches Tozawa while Woods distracts the referee. Jey then hits a super kick to send Waller over the ringside barrier. Otis then hits a back first to Kofi and a clothesline to Woods. Rayo and Bravo then hits a double drop kick to Otis. Brutus then takes care of Bravo and Rayo. Otis then blocks a knee from Julius and he drops him onto Brutus. Tozawa then tags in and he hits the back senton on Julius for the win.

We then see Jackie Redmond interviewing Becky Lynch and she congratulates her on her victory, but Becky says it should be more revered and she insults Jackie’s Leafs jacket. Becky then says there is a controversy.over the match because of Nattie. She then says she had to deal with Lyra. She then says that Nattie will have to win the Royal Rumble for a title match. Kairi Sane then stops by to tell Becky that she is going to win the Royal Rumble because no one is ready for Asuka. Becky then says she has beaten Asuka many times and they would have won WarGames if not for Asuka. Kairi then translates and Asuka yells that she heard her and she will see Becky in the Rumble. Asuka then yells at Kairi.

We then see Je’Von stop by to wish AJ Styles luck and says he hopes to see him on the farewell tour.

We then see Byron Saxton in the interview area and Raquel Rodriguez interrupts to yell at Stephanie Vaquer. She then says every week you have been ducking her. She then says you keep coming up with an excuse. She then says if it isn’t you, it is someone sticking their nose in her business. She then says you have never faced anyone as dominating as her. She then says will not finish until she gets Stephanie in the ring and she will take her title. Raquel then tells Stephanie to make the match. Stephanie Vaquer then shows up to talk to Pearce. She says that Raquel wants her and she wants Raquel. She then says does not want a match, she wants a fight. Pearce then says she has a Street Fight next week for the title.

We then head to the back, where Bronson Reed says he wants to know what is the plan. Logan then says they need to have one goal and one vision to lead into Wrestlemania. He then says no one can stop them. He then says they are a well oiled unit, a machine of machines. He then says they need to make sure that one of them wins the Rumble. Logan then says the winner should be Bron Breakker. Logan then says that is the vision.

We then see that Oba Femi will be in the Royal Rumble.

CM Punk then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and AJ Styles follow.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: “The Best In The World” CM Punk (c) vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

The match starts off with both men locking up and AJ cinches in a wrist lock. Punk then gets a reversal and he works on the arm. Punk then cinches in a hammer lock and AJ gets a reversal. Punk then cinches in a waist lock and AJ responds with a wrist lock. Punk then hits a leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Both men then go for a Greco Roman Knuckle lock and AJ cinches in a side head lock. AJ then hits a kick and Punk gets AJ on his shoulders. AJ then goes for the Calf Crusher, but Punk counters into an Anaconda Vice. AJ then gets a rollup for a near fall. Punk then cinches in a side head lock. Punk then hits an elbow drop to the back when AJ drops down to set up for the Phenomenal Forearm. Punk then hits some kicks and a scissors knee drop. Punk then cinches in a reverse chin lock.

AJ then hits some elbows and a punch. Punk then hits a clothesline. Punk then hits a reverse atomic drop and AJ hits a drop kick. AJ then goes to the apron and hits a sliding knee. AJ then chops Punk and sends him into the ringside barrier. AJ then hits a forearm and both men return to the ring. AJ then sends Punk into the turnbuckles. AJ and Punk then exchange chops. Punk then hits some punches and a leg lariat. Punk then hits a swinging neck breaker. Punk then hits a knee into the corner followed by a bulldog. Punk then hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Punk then hits some punches and forearms. Punk then gets AJ on his shoulders and AJ blocks the knee. AJ then hits an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. AJ then puts Punk on the turnbuckles. Punk then tries to bring AJ back into the ring, but he cannot so Punk goes into the ring and AJ is able to beat the count. AJ then gets a rollup for a near fall and he hits a Styles Clash for a near fall. AJ then goes to the apron for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Punk hits the ropes to send AJ to the mat. Punk then hits a kick and some punches. AJ then hits some punches. AJ then hits a kick and Punk hits a chop and some forearms. AJ then hits a Pele Kick.
