WWE RAW Results (12/29/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Joe Tessitore welcoming us while the exterior of the host venue was shown. We then get a video package recapping Austin Theory’s actions on last week’s RAW. Rey Mysterio is then shown walking his dog into the Kia Center. The Usos are also shown in attendance as they will battle AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer is then walking backstage as she will put the title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

The Vision (WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Logan Paul and Austin Theory) are then shown backstage. They then start walking and go through Gorilla Position and make their way down to the ring. Paul Heyman starts off by introducing himself, but the crowd chants for CM Punk. Paul then says CM Punk could have been standing here, but he had to placate to all of the fans and stop listening to him. Paul then says we will start this all over.

Paul then does his introduction again. Paul then says what he says hypes up where he is going on the last RAW of 2025. Paul then says everything he says justifies something that needs no justification. Paul then says in five years when you scroll through whatever platform you are on and you will see the WrestleMania main eventers. Paul then thanks the fans for chanting for Roman Reigns. Paul then says you will realize that five years ago tonight they are all standing in front of you, right here right now. Paul then says here is the sentence that matters. Paul then says the rumors are true, the newest member of The Vision is Austin Theory. Paul then tells Austin to earn his keep as he hands him the mic.

Theory then says he has waited his entire life for this moment. Theory then says he has worked his entire career for this moment. Theory then says he has a lot of things he wants to talk about. Theory then says first he wants to talk about the next World Champion Bron Breakker. Theory then asks Paul to educate him on this part. Paul then says the goals of the group outweighs the individual needs of any member of the group. CM Punk’s music then interrupts and he makes his way out to the stage.

Punk then tells Theory he is doing tricks and drinking gallons of the Kool Aid. Punk then says he is not out here to listen to Austin, he is out here to listen to the other kid Bron Breakker. Punk then says he has been called many things. Punk then says he hopes someone in the group has a brain. Punk then says he is looking at Paul to explain to Bron that the match is set for next week. Punk then says he could come down there to say some things and you will do stuff to him. Punk then says there is no title match next week. Punk then asks if he is tougher than he is smart. Punk then says he likes to look someone in the eye before he puts him to sleep.

Punk then says unless you are scared why don’t we get your boys out of the ring so they can clear the air, face to face. Punk then says he has a few things to say to Bron. Punk then asks Bron if he is scared. Punk then gets on the ring steps. Bron then says the only one scared is you and he invites Punk into the ring. Bron then says they won’t hurt him. Paul then suggests that everyone back up and let Bron do his thing on the mic. They then leave the ring and Punk enters.

Punk then asks Bron what does he have and he calls him kid. Bron then asks why are they standing here. Bron then says why do they exist and why are they here. Bron then says they look at things towards the future. Bron then says they look through the same lens. Bron then says look at Bronson Reed. Bron then says look at Logan Paul. Bron then says look at Austin Theory. Bron then says then there is him. Bron then says he will be the next World Champion. Bron then says he is so tired of Punk and everyone else saying he is the future and he will figure it out and main event Wrestlemania. Bron then says he is not the future, he is the now. Bron then says you have the audacity to say that he is the new shiny toy. Bron then says you say he will fail under the shining lights and they will drop him. Bron then says go to the back and find out someone who can do what he can do. Bron then says find someone who has taken over in less time. Bron then says find someone who was born into this business. Bron then says find someone who is a bigger dog than him.

Bron then says you may not like him because he hasn’t paid his dues. Bron then says you think he has had everything handed to him and it was easy because of his lineage. Bron then says everything he has had to do has been under a microscope. Bron then says he has been held to the highest level. Bron then says you don’t respect him because he didn’t do it on the indies, but he was on the field with Lamar Jackson. Bron then says he is willing to die for that title and so are you. Bron then says he will let Punk. Bron then says he will put Punk in the ground, beat him and become the new World Champion.

Punk then says your first mistake is assuming what he thinks of you. Punk then says did you think he would say you aren’t ready. Punk then says you are more ready than anyone in the back and anyone in your group. Punk then says he is not ready. Punk then says you want what he’s got. Punk then drops the title belt and he asks Bron to pick it up. Punk then says it is heavier than you think. Punk then says he has earned it and he is not ready to go. Punk then says he is not ready to go into sold out arenas to have the privilege to ask if it is good to be alive in Orlando on a Monday night. Punk then says he is not ready to stop being champion. Punk then says you are big, bad, tough and fast. Punk then says we are not the same. Punk then says one of us is CM Punk. Punk then says some day somebody is going to beat him for the title, but it won’t be you. Punk then tells Bron he will see him next week.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is with Raquel Rodriguez to ask her about tonight’s title match as well as the chaos that has been going on. Raquel says there will be no tricks tonight. Raquel then says nobody is getting in the way off her getting the title. Liv then shows up and interrupts her. She then mentions with JD and Dominik out, they need her to take care of business. Raquel then says she can handle this alone. Liv then says she knows but Roxanne. Raquel then says she wants to know what Roxanne said. Roxanne then shows up and Liv says they want Raquel to be champion. Roxanne then wishes her luck and Raquel says she doesn’t need luck.

Nikki Bella then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Raquel Rodriguez and Stephanie Vaquer follow.

WWE Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match: “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella vs. The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez

The match starts off with all three women circling and Raquel yells at Vaquer. Nikki then pushes Raquel. Raquel then pushes Nikki. Raquel then hits a shoulder tackle on Nikki. Vaquer then gets a rollup on Raquel and Nikki ruins the Devil’s Kiss. Nikki. then goes to the floor and she drop kicks Raquel when Vaquer moves. Nikki then sends Vaquer into the ringside barrier. Nikki then sends Raquel into the ring steps. Nikki then sends Vaquer into the ring and into the turnbuckles. Nikki then hits an Irish whip and a clothesline into the corner. Nikki then goes to the turnbuckles and Raquel sends Vaquer to the mat and pulls Nikki off the turnbuckles. Raquel then slams Nikki and follows it up with a forearm to the back.

Raquel then hits some shoulders on Vaquer in the corner and a splash on Nikki. Raquel then hits a splash on Vaquer followed by lawnmower elbows. Raquel then hits a snap mare and she gets a near fall. Vaquer with a shoulder to the midsection but Raquel with a shoulder tackle and she gets a near fall. Vaquer then cinches in a top wrist lock and a chin bar. Vaquer then hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Vaquer then returns to the top wrist lock and hits some elbows. Nikki then goes for a cross body off the turnbuckles and Raquel catches her and hits a fallaway slam.

Raquel then hits a knee and a Gory Special on Vaquer. Vaquer then escapes, but Raquel hits a shoulder tackle and she gets Vaquer back in the Gory Special. Raquel then gets a bridge and she gets a near fall. Vaquer then hits a sunset flip on Raquel for a near fall and Nikki kicks Raquel. Vaquer then sets up for a Devil’s Kiss on Nikki, but Raquel hits a kick to stop it. Raquel then sends Nikki to the floor and Raquel hits a forearm on Vaquer. Raquel then misses a splash and Vaquer is sent to the apron. Vaquer then goes up top and Nikki pulls Vaquer off the turnbuckles. Raquel then misses a kick and Nikki drops the leg on the ropes. Vaquer then hits a cross body on Raquel. Nikki then sends Vaquer into the ring post and Nikki cinches in an STF on Raquel.

Raquel then escapes and cinches in a knee bar. Vaquer then puts Raquel in the Devi’s Kiss and hits it. Nikki then holds her knee since Raquel still had the knee bar applied. Vaquer then sends Nikki into the turnbuckles and hits running the knees on Raquel. Nikki then hits a boot on Vaquer. Vaquer then blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw. Raquel then misses a boot in the corner and gets caught in the ropes. Vaquer then hits a dragon screw on Raquel. Nikki then hits a leg sweep on Vaquer on the apron. Raquel then grabs both women and they stop Raquel. Raquel then hits clotheslines on Vaquer and Nikki on the apron. Raquel then hot shots Nikki on the announce desk.

Raquel then gets a near fall on Vaquer. Raquel then kicks Vaquer a few times. Raquel then hits some boots and Vaquer blocks a kick and kicks Raquel in the leg. Vaquer then hits a head butt and Raquel hits a clothesline for a near fall. Raquel then hot shots Nikki on the apron. Nikki then kicks Raquel away, but Raquel sends Nikki back to the mat. Raquel then hits a twisting Vader Bomb elbow drop for a near fall. Raquel then kicks Nikki and she punches Vaquer and returns to the lawnmower elbows. Raquel then puts Vaquer on the turnbuckles and Vaquer hits some forearms. Vaquer then hits a boot.

Vaquer then cinches in a triangle in the ropes and Nikki hits a drop kick on Vaquer. Nikki then goes up top and Raquel hits a forearm. Raquel then gets Nikki on her shoulders and Vaquer gets on the turnbuckles. Nikki then hits a sunset flip power bomb on Raquel while Raquel superplexes Vaquer. Nikki then gets near falls on both. Raquel then gets Vaquer up and Nikki hits a boot on Vaquer. Nikki then gets a near fall on Raquel. Raquel then blocks a head scissors take down. Nikki then lands on he feet and Nikki hits a back elbow. Nikki then hits a springboard round kick. Vaquer then hits a butterfly face buster for a near fall.
