Tonight’s WWE RAW airing December 22, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, Michigan. WWE RAW Results (12/22/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with commentary welcoming us and we take a look back at the mystery of the masked man and the reveal of it being Austin Theory.

Paul Heyman then tells Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker to get warm because he has it. Paul then walks over to Austin Theory and wants to know what the hell he is doing. Theory then says he wanted Paul to know why he was wearing the mask. Theory then says he wanted everyone to feel his actions before they saw his face. Theory then says he made some bad decisions. Theory then says he got comfortable and he got injured. Theory then says he saw the group. Theory then says they don’t wait, they take. Theory then says he takes. Theory then says he would love to take the opportunity to help out in their match tonight. Paul then says interesting, very interesting and he walks away.

We then take a look at what happened last week with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane. We then see Rhea and IYO in the back and Rhea says she cannot protect IYO against Kairi and Asuka so she asks her to stay in the back. Rhea then tells IYO to stay safe and she hugs IYO.

Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Asuka and Kairi Sane follow.

Singles Match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. The Kabuki Warriors’ WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka

The match starts off with Rhea hitting a drop kick and some punches, but the referee pulls Rhea out of the corner. Rhea then hits a few biels on Asuka. Asuka then misses a kick and Rhea gets a take down and hits some punches. Rhea then hits more punches and a head butt. Asuka then escapes the RipTide and goes to the floor. Rhea then sends Asuka into the ringside barrier. Both women then return to the ring and Kairi Sane distracts Rhea long enough to allow Asuka to hit a drop kick. Rhea is then sent into the ringside barrier.

Asuka then chokes Rhea in the ropes. Asuka then hits a knee into the corner. Rhea then escapes a bulldog, but Asuka hits a pop up knee for a near fall. Asuka then hits some Kawada kicks and a back heel kick. Rhea then hits a punch and a back fist. Rhea then hits a punch and a face buster. Rhea then gets a back slide for a near fall. Rhea then hits a back elbow and Kairi trips Rhea when the referee was distracted. Asuka then hits a baseball slide. Asuka then hits some kicks to the chest. Rhea then blocks a kick and she punches Asuka. Rhea then hits a short arm clothesline followed by a back heel kick and a face plant. Rhea then hits a running thrust kick for a near fall. Rhea then goes for a RipTide again, but Asuka hits an arm drag for a near fall. Asuka then hits a series of strikes on Rhea, but Rhea hits a round kick.

Rhea and Asuka then exchange forearms. Rhea then blocks a kick and she takes Asuka to the mat and applies the Prism Lock. Asuka then counters into an ankle lock and a leg trap German suplex and kick for a near fall. Asuka then goes for the Asuka lock, but Rhea hits a snap mare. Rhea then hits a boot on Asuka in the corner. Asuka then stops Rhea on the turnbuckles. Asuka then sets up for a superplex, but Rhea escapes and she puts Asuka’s head against the turnbuckle and she follows it up with a thrust kick. Rhea then hits a face plant from an electric chair for a near fall.

Rhea then sets up for a Razor’s Edge, but Asuka escapes and counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Rhea then misses a boot in the ropes and Asuka puts her on the apron. Rhea then catches Asuka on a flying hip and Asuka hits a German suplex on the apron. Asuka then goes up top and is met with a thrust kick. Rhea then hits a knee to send Asuka to the floor. Rhea then hits a cannonball off the apron on Asuka. Rhea then goes up top and Asuka distracts the referee. Sane then drops Rhea on the turnbuckles. IYO then come out and takes care of Sane. Sane then hits a leg sweep on IYO on the apron. Rhea then checks on IYO and Asuka gets a rollup for the win.

After the match, Rhea checks on IYO after she was attacked by Sane.

We then head to the back, where Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker are talking and Paul Heyman shows up. They want to know what is going on and Paul mentions Theory. Paul then asks who were they 18 months ago. Paul then says now you are main eventing Australia and beating Roman Reigns. Paul then says where were you. Paul then says you called your shot and took out Seth Rollins and you are main eventing the RAW anniversary show on Netflix. Paul then says someone had a vision for you and he is selective. Paul then says he has a vision for Austin Theory. Paul then says Austin and Reed will face CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. Paul then says either he carries out that vision or you carry Austin Theory’s ass out of WWE. Reed then says he has this and Bron says he has Reed’s back.

We then see Maxxine Dupri walking in the backstage area. We then take a look at how the crowd treated Becky Lynch.

Becky Lynch then makes her way down to the ring. Becky starts off by saying there is no way this will be a celebration for Maxxine. Becky then says she is not the legitimate champion. Becky then says there was a corrupt referee and illegal interference so she is the real Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Becky then says she knows everyone is upset at this corruption. Becky then says she knows some powerful people who will if Adam Pearce does nothing. Becky then says she has the best attorneys. Becky then says she went to the biggest of wigs at Netflix and they told her to go to Michigan. Becky then complains about the lack of rapids in the city and says she was told she needs to take matters into her own hands.

Maxxine Dupri then interrupts and she makes her way down to the ring. Maxxine starts off by saying we have all heard Becky. Maxxine then admits that Sports Illustrated was right and Becky is the best of all time. Maxxine then says she is a rookie. Maxxine then says the rookie beat the greatest of all time. Maxxine then mentions that she has won three times. Maxxine then says Becky can have her chance to get the title back and she can have it any place and any time.

Maxxine then says she will train to make sure that she is still the champion. Maxxine then says she wants Becky to admit that she is her champion. Maxxine then tells Becky to take it on the chin and admit it but at this time, you don’t look like the greatest of all time. Maxxine then says you look like your best years are behind you. Becky then slaps Maxxine and punches her on the mat. Becky then takes the mat and she punches Maxxine in the back of the head. Maxxine then gets up and she puts Becky in the ankle lock. Becky then taps out and Maxxine releases the hold.

We then take a look at what happened last week with Nikki Bella. We then see Je’Von Evans with Adam Pearce and Pearce wishes him luck in his match against Rayo and says he would like to talk to Evans after the match about his future. Evans then leaves and Stephanie Vaquer shows up to talk to Pearce. Pearce asks Stephanie how can they resolve things with her, Nikki and Raquel. Stephanie then says she wants them both. Pearce then says the match can happen next week on RAW.

We then get some comments from the Usos. They say they are back in the tag division. They then say last week they beat the New Day and next week, they will do what they do against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee. They then say you have the titles and the target on your back. They then say they are the greatest team of all time.

Singles Match: “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans vs. Los Americanos’ Rayo Americano

The match starts off with both men locking up and Rayo cinches in a side head lock and hits a shoulder tackle, but Evans hits a shoulder tackle of his own. Evans then hits a drop kick. Evans then cinches in a side head lock and Rayo hits a back elbow and he struts. Rayo then cinches in a wrist lock and hits a knee drop to the arm. Rayo then hits a chop in the corner. Rayo then cinches in an arm bar. Evans then hits a kick and a slingshot head scissors take down. Rayo then hangs in the ropes and he back drops Evans to the floor. Rayo then misses a pescado when Evans moves. Evans then hits a plancha.
