Tonight’s WWE RAW airing July 14, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. The post-WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and Evolution 2 show sees “The Best In The World” CM Punk, “Main Event” Jey Uso, “The Mega Star” LA Knight, Penta and “The Unpredictable Badass” Bron Breakker face each other in a WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s SummerSlam Gauntlet Match.
The show kicks off at 8:00 PM ET on Netflix and is available for international fans on streaming platforms like Netflix. The show opens up with Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcoming us and we get a video package that recapped both this past Saturday’s Saturday Night’s Main Event and this past Sunday’s Evolution PLE.
We then see a shot of MetLife Stadium, which will be the host venue of next month’s two-night SummerSlam PLE.
We then see the arrivals of WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER, “Main Event” Jey Uso, CM Punk. Bron Breakker, “Big” Bronson Reed and WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman and the WWE Drone flies us into the Legacy Arena.
New WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Naomi is fired up and the crowd chants, “You deserve it.” Naomi starts it off by saying she doesn’t want to hear that. Naomi then says the fans weren’t feeling the glow, but they are feeling her now. Naomi then says the fans are sitting there acting like they knew this was coming. Naomi then says they thought she would cash in on Tiffany Stratton, but no one knows her next move until she makes it. Naomi then says that is why she is standing here as the new Women’s World Champion. Naomi then says she is so done with the foolishness going on in SmackDown. Naomi then tells Bianca Belair to look at this title. Naomi then says she didn’t betray Belair, she outgrew her. Naomi then says Belair and Jade Cargill didn’t want her to succeed. Naomi then says they wanted her to be a flunky as long as it was ok with them. Naomi then asks, “Who’s got the upper hand now, b***hes?” Naomi then cackles. Naomi then says Cargill may have gotten her lick at Evolution, but she made history. Naomi then says she may be new on RAW, but all those raggedy heffers in the RAW Locker Room are advised to proceed with caution.
Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ripley tells Naomi that she is not cautious, but rather reckless and irate. Ripley then says she walked into Evolution with two goals: beat IYO SKY and become Women’s World Champion once again. Ripley then says because of Naomi she still has those two goals to accomplish and tells Naomi she has made it onto her list. IYO SKY’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. SKY then echoes Ripley’s sentiments towards Naomi, but begins arguing with Ripley and Naomi. Adam Pearce then appears and officially welcomes Naomi to RAW, then tells Ripley and SKY that their Evolution match was magic. Pearce then informs Naomi, Ripley and SKY that they will be taking each other on in a Triple Threat Match for the Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam. Naomi then holds up her title belt while looking at Ripley and SKY.
Cole and Graves then checked in from the commentary desk and hype Nikki Bella vs. Chelsea Green and a best of three falls match between Lyra Valkyria and Bailey for a shot at the Women’s Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam for later in the show.
We then head into The Judgment Day club house, where Finn Bálor is holding all the titles. Bálor then hands “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio his WWE Intercontinental Championship and says he was keeping it warm for him. Mysterio then says he hasn’t been able to relax because AJ Styles has been stalking him. Bálor then says as long as Mysterio has his doctor’s note, he is untouchable. Bálor then says they need to give their full support to the biggest winners from the weekend: Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Perez then gives all the credit to Rodriguez. Rodriguez then says Perez stepped up like she said. Bálor then says he has heard about the Kabuki Warriors and is worried. He then tells Mysterio to accompany them to the ring tonight. Mysterio then asks why he has to. Bálor then says it’s time to show the world their strength. He then says they also need to keep the titles for Liv Morgan. Bálor then hands the Tag Title to JD McDonagh. Bálor then looks at a picture of Liv Morgan, smiles and sarcastically says, “For Liv.”
The Kabuki Warriors then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Judgment Day follows.
The match starts off with Raquel Rodriguez and Kairi Sane. Sane applies a waist-lock before avoiding a back elbow. Sane then hits the ropes and goes for a satellite DDT, but Rodriguez shoves her off and hits her with a shoulder tackle. Asuka then tags in and grabs her arm, but Rodriguez shoves her away. Asuka then grabs the arm again, but Rodriguez lifts her. Asuka then counters with a sleeper hold. Rodriguez then backs her into the corner and Roxanne Perez tags in. Perez then hits the ropes and hits a head-scissor into a side leg sweep for a two count. Perez then stands Asuka up and slaps her in the face. Asuka then nods her head before getting fired up. Asuka then punches and kicks away at Perez before kicking her in the face a few times.
Sane then tags back in. The Kabuki Warriors then hit a double team takedown/dropkick combo for a one count. Sane then sends Perez into the corner and chops the chest. Sane then hits a running basement forearm on Perez for a two count. WWE Intercontinental Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio then saunters around ringside. Perez then drops Sane on the apron. Sane then tries for a sunset flip, but Perez stomps her. Rodriguez then tags in, but Sane catches her with an armbar. Perez then runs in, but Asuka locks her in an armbar. Rodriguez then powers Sane up and powerbombs her onto Asuka. Sane won’t let go, so Rodriguez slams her into the ropes.
Sane then nails Rodriguez with a Stunner, but Perez tags in. Sane then nails Perez with an enzuigiri, then tags in Asuka. Asuka then hits a knee on Perez and follows it up with a Shining Wizard, then tags in Sane. Sane then hits a right hand on Perez off the top as Asuka holds her in place and goes for a pin, but Rodriguez breaks the fall.
Asuka then low bridges Rodriguez out of the ring over the top rope, then tags in Sane. Sane then hits an In-Sane Elbow on Perez as Asuka holds her in place, but the referee misses Sane pinning Perez after being distracted by Dominik and begins the count late. Asuka then sends Rodriguez crashing into the ring post face first and tags in before hitting a missile dropkick on Perez off the top rope and delivering more kicks on her. She then hits a German suplex, but Dominik hops up onto the apron. Asuka then nails Dominik with a spinning backfist, opening the door for Perez to roll her up for the win as Rodriguez uses her boots to hold Perez in place.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is speaking with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Redmond asks about the results of Seth Rollins’ medical exam in Birmingham. Heyman, who was holding the Money in the Bank briefcase, says it is too soon. Heyman then says Rollins has until next June to cash in his MITB contract. Heyman then shifts the focus to Breakker winning the Gauntlet Match and going on to win the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Breakker then stares into the camera.
We then head to another backstage area, where Jackie Redmond asks Lyra Valkyria about her match against Bayley. Valkyria then says this match will put an end to the Bayley talk and get her back to Becky Lynch. She then says after the match Redmond can ask her about her upcoming SummerSlam match. Bayley then shows up and says whoever loses this match will go to the back of the line. Valkyria then says it’s always about Bayley. Bayley then says what’s best for Valkyria is to stay the hell out of her way. Bayley then pushes Valkyria aside and makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lyra Valkyrie follows.
The match starts off with both women locking up and Valkyria takes Bayley down with a headlock. Bayley then fights up and whips her off, but Valkyria takes her down with a front face-lock. Bayley then fights up and pushes her off again, but Valkyria grabs her head. Bayley then backs her to the corner and puts her on the top rope before patting her on the head. Valkyria then hits a couple of arm drags before leapfrogging her and sending her out of the ring. Bayley then gets in the ring, but Valkyria ducks a clothesline and hits a hip toss. Valkyria then pats her on the head, so Bayley slaps her in the face and rolls her up to secure the first fall.
Valkyria then rolls Bayley up, but Bayley kicks out and sends Valkyria’s face repeatedly bouncing off the top turnbuckle. Valkyria then delivers some kicks on Bayley’s midsection and dropkicks her into the corner, then follows it up with a Tornado DDT and a suplex on her. She then goes for a pin, but Bayley kicks out. Valkyria then delivers some stomps on Bayley in the corner, but Bayley sends her into the corner and sends her into the adjacent corner. Valkyria then sends Bayley crashing out of the ring and hits a dropkick on her through the middle rope, but Bayley hits a back suplex on her on the ring apron. Bayley then looks to pin Valkyria, but Valkyria counters into a fall of her own to secure the second fall.
Valkyria then sends Bayley’s knee bouncing off the ring apron and the ring post, but Bayley sends Valkyria’s face bouncing off the middle rope. Valkyria then looks to roll up Bayley, but Bayley nails Valkyria with a knee and hits her with a Bayley-To-Belly as Valkyria looks to fly off the top rope. Valkyria then pulls Bayley off the ropes and hits a gut wrench powerbomb, then goes for a pin but Bayley kicks out. Valkyria then hits a Fisherman’s Suplex on Bayley on the apron, but Bayley rolls up Valkyria. Valkyria then kicks out, but Bayley sends her crashing into the ring steps spine first on the outside and sends her back into the ring. She then climbs to the top rope, then hits an elbow drop on Valkyria’s spine. She then goes for a pin, but Valkyria kicks out. Bayley then cinches in a crossface on Valkyria, then looks to keep Valkyria from reaching the ropes to break the fall. As Bayley does so, Valkyria manages to escape and hits the Night Wing on Bayley for the win.

After the match, Becky Lynch’s music hits and she makes her way out. She then stares down Valkyria and holds up her Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer says she came to WWE to become a champion. Vaquer then says in Paris she will become a champion. Redmond then says Vaquer will compete for the Women’s World Championship at WWE Clash in Paris. Chelsea Green then shows up with the Secret Hervice. Green then says she should represent WWE in Paris. Green then says “La Primavera” means loser and Chelsea Green means winner. Vaquer then tells her to take her best shot. Green then says she’d love to, but she’s facing a WWE Hall of Famer. Green then says Vaquer can look, but she can’t touch.
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
We then get a Karrion Kross video. Kross says your favorite bad guys were there to save the day. Kross then says Sami Zayn was nowhere to be found and claims he is injured. Kross then asks Scarlett if she believes that. Scarlett then says Zayn is a liar and Kross agrees. Kross then says he gave Zayn an ultimatum that he didn’t like and he folded. Kross then tells Zayn not to come back to work until he is ready to tell the world the truth and say that he told the truth.
Chelsea Green then makes her way down to the ring with The Secret Hervice.
The match starts off with both women locking up and Green hits a right hand on Nikki, but Green delivers some right hands on Nikki’s spine. Nikki then responds with a hurricanrana on Green and slaps her, then hits a suplex on her. Green then rolls out of the ring and calls for a time out, but Nikki follows Green out of the ring. Niven and Fyre then insert themselves between Nikki and Green. Green then hits a backstabber on Nikki off the middle rope when both women return to the ring.
Green then sends Nikki crashing into the mat face first, but Nikki gets Green up on her shoulders. Green then escapes and hits a neckbreaker on Nikki, then sets up for the Unprettier. Nikki then escapes and hits the Bella Buster on Green. Fyre then sends Nikki crashing into the ring post as Niven distracts the referee. Nikki then nails Niven and sends her crashing off the apron, but Green looks to roll up Nikki. Nikki then sees Green coming and hits the Rack Attack 2.0 on Green for the win.

After the match, Niven nails Nikki from behind. Fyre then nails Nikki and tosses her over to Niven, who then hits a Sidewalk Slam on Nikki. Stephanie Vaquer’s music then hits and she runs down to the ring to nail Niven and Fyre. She. then helps Nikki up and hugs her, then holds up her hand.
We then head to the back, where Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are still dressed in black to mourn their tag title loss and Grayson Waller is with them. They then say they are in the bargaining phase of the grieving process and have Waller present Adam Pearce with a tray of toupees with the hopes that it would lead to New Day getting a rematch for the World Tag Team Titles. Pearce then says New Day will have an opportunity to earn a rematch next week, then he knocks the tray out of Waller’s hand. Pearce then comes across The Judgment Day. He then points out that Dominik is jumping around during the women’s tag team match. Dominik then says it is due to adrenaline and then shows off his medical paperwork. Pearce then says he spoke with the medical team. Pearce then says Dominik will be reevaluated next week and if he is cleared, he will defend the Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles at SummerSlam. After the others leave, Dominik turns and spots Styles praying. Dominik then yells that he isn’t cleared.
We then see Penta staring down GUNTHER. GUNTHER then walks off as he will be talking next.
We then head to another backstage area, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing Rusev and she congratulates him for beating Sheamus. Redmond then asks Rusev where will he go from here. Rusev says people call him god, but he is just a saint skinning snakes. Rusev then says he will fight someone tougher than Sheamus. Sheamus then comes up behind Rusev and they talk. He then says he talked to Adam Pearce and they will be having a rematch. Rusev then says he came to dominate gold, not gingers.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. GUNTHER says despite the boos of the live crowd he is in a great mood after defeating Goldberg at Saturday Night’s Main Event. GUNTHER then says he bullied, humiliated and pushed Goldberg around and he’ll be watching the upcoming #1 Contender’s Gauntlet Match from a suite. Bron Breakker’s music then hits and he makes his way out alongside Paul Heyman. Heyman then looks to introduce himself, but GUNTHER cuts him off. GUNTHER then says Heyman has made his points and he has no interest in what Heyman has to say. GUNTHER then looks to head to his suite, but Breakker blocks his path and Heyman warns GUNTHER about how dangerous Breakker is. Heyman then continues talking up Breakker and says that Breakker will be a new World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam. Breakker then invites GUNTHER to leave and GUNTHER does so to head to his suite.
Cole then ays the entrance order for the Gauntlet Match has been determined earlier in the day. He then questions which wrestler will face Breakker. Penta is already in the ring and the main event of the night gets underway.
The match starts off with Breakker and Penta. Penta delivers some strikes on Breakker in the corner. Breakker then runs over Penta with a clothesline, but Penta low bridges Breakker out of the ring over the top rope and flies over the top rope to nail him on the outside.
Penta then nails Breakker with an enzuigiri on the outside, but Breakker sends Penta crashing into the barricade spine first and the ring steps twice face first. Breakker then hits a suplex on Penta back inside the ring, but Penta sends Breakker’s face bouncing off the top rope. Breakker then hits a belly-to-belly throw on Penta, but Penta hits a modified Bronco Buster on Breakker. Penta then sets up for a Penta Driver on Breakker, but Breakker responds with a spear on Penta to eliminate him.
LA Knight is the next entrant and he delivers some right hands on Breakker. He then hits a kick on Breakker’s tricep, but Breakker sends Knight out of the ring. Knight then sends Breakker’s arm repeatedly bouncing off the ring post, then sends his face repeatedly bouncing off the cowl of the announce desk. Knight then climbs back up the ropes when he and Breakker return to the ring, but Breakker trips him and delivers some shoulders on him in the corner. Knight then sends Breakker crashing into the ring post shoulder first, then sends him into the corner hard spine first and jams his knee into the back of his neck. Knight then hits an elbow drop on Breakker off the top rope, but Breakker hits Knight with a spear to eliminate him.
Jey Uso then makes his way out via the stage as he is the fourth entrant. Jey then clears Breakker from the ring with a clothesline and hist him with a suicide dive. Jey then returns to the ring and opts to run it back. Jey then stands on the ropes and plays to the crowd while his entrance theme plays. Breakker then runs the ropes for a spear, but Jey superkicks him twice and spears him and that leads to a near fall. Jey then goes up top for an Uso Splash, but Bronson Reed shows up and pulls Jey into the top rope. Breakker then hits a spear on Jey to eliminate him.
CM Punk then makes his way out as he is the fifth and final entrant and he hits a high knee and a bulldog on Breakker. Punk then clears Breakker from the ring with a clothesline. Punk then removes his jacket. Breakker then catches Punk jumping from the ropes and suplexes him. Breakker then works over Punk with shoulders in the corner of the ring and hits him with a running knee strike. Breakker then points at his wrist and clotheslines Punk via the bottom rope. Breakker then suplexes Punk and covers him, but Punk kicks out at one. Punk then lifts Breakker up for his finisher, but Breakker slips away and puts Punk down with a backbreaker that leads to a two count. Punk then catches a charging Breakker with a boot to the face. Punk is on the ropes and Breakker goes for a Frankensteiner, but Punk rolls him up into a pin.
Breakker then kicks out, but Punk nails him with a kick to his head and delivers some right hands on him. Punk then hits him with a back kick and a neckbreaker, then follows it up with an elbow drop off the top rope and cinches in an Anaconda Vice on him. Reed then breaks the hold with an elbow drop on Punk, but Jey’s music hits and he delivers some right hands on Reed. He then sends him crashing out of the ring with a superkick and a tope suicida, opening the door for Punk to hit Breakker with a GTS for the win.

After the match, Reed and Breakker continue beating Punk down. Reed then sets up for a Tsunami, but Roman Reigns’ music hits. He then takes Breakker down and hits a spear on Reed, then shakes Jey’s hand and helps Punk up. Reigns, Jey and Punk then stand tall as the show comes to a close.
