The October 7 episode of WWE NXT is shaping up to be a big one, especially since it’s the special NXT vs. TNA ShowDown show. So fans can expect a lot of epic action from start to finish.
NXT Champion Ricky Saints captains Team NXT alongside Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Myles Borne. They will face Team TNA led by Mike Santana, joined by Frankie Kazarian, Moose, and Leon Slater. With Joe Hendry as the special guest referee, there’s really no telling how the match will turn out, so it remains to be seen which team will walk out with the win.
The women’s elimination match will see NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne lead Team NXT against Team TNA, which is led by TNA Knockouts World Champion Kelani Jordan. Jordynne Grace will be the special guest referee for the bout, so she’ll try to be as impartial as possible. So we’ll just have to see who will win this battle between the two companies.
Mustafa Ali finally gets the title shot he was denied two years ago. He’s set to challenge Ethan Page for the NXT North American Championship at NXT vs. TNA ShowDown, so fans definitely want to see if Ali can finally win the title once and for all.
DarkState and the Hardys will put their respective NXT Tag Team and TNA Tag Team Titles on the line in a winner-takes-all bout. The Hardys have been determined to finally win the NXT Tag Team Titles. With the Dudley Boyz set to be in attendance for the show, we will have to wait and see if the Hardys can become double champions, ahead of their Bound for Glory match against the Dudley Boyz.
