The Countdown To WWE NXT Vengeance Day pre-show opens up with Megan Morant welcoming us. She then introduces her co-host Sam Roberts. Morant and Roberts then run through the card for tonight’s PLE.

We then get a video package on the WWE NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Match and a discussion from the panel.

We then see an interview that Corey Graves had with Bayley from earlier this week. Graves mentions how it is weird to be back in the PC after so many years. Corey Graves then asks Bayley why is now the time to come back to NXT. Bayley says she loves NXT and has always watched it. Bayley then says when she was rehabbing she got to know the girls and see how they train. Bayley then mentions the grind in NXT and how it is her way to give back and see what the future holds. Bayley then says it is going to prepare her for when they come to RAW or SmackDown. Bayley then says she found out they don’t care what she has done. Bayley then says it might be why they got into the business, but it is not why they are successful. Bayley then says she had a match like this ten years ago in NXT and it shows that her hard work has paid off.

Graves then asks Bayley about the current women’s division. Bayley says this is the best this division has ever been. Bayley then says they wanted it to get better and grow. Bayley then says many have looked at what they have done to get her. Bayley then says NXT is looking for the best and people want to be here. Graves then asks about the obsession to get to RAW or SmackDown when they were in NXT and wonders if they are hungrier now. Bayley then says she doesn’t know if she has a target on her back. Bayley then says she wants them to surpass her and want it as bad as her. Bayley then says it makes her better to learn from the other girls. Bayley then says this is what they have always wanted. Bayley then says they want the hunger and the passion because you can’t teach that. Bayley then says if they have it they will show it by standing over her.

Graves then asks if Cora Jade being added to the match has made her bite off more than she can chew. Bayley says she finds a way to crawl out. Bayley then says they might be the golden girls now, but she built this. Bayley then mentions the match in Brooklyn. Bayley then says they need to look in the mirror and find out if they are ready for the next step. Graves then asks Bayley what does it mean with her at the top of NXT. Bayley then says she will show the world as the women’s champion. Bayley then says maybe she will beat Rhea at Wrestlemania. Bayley then says if she is champion after Saturday a new generation will be coming to NXT because of her.

We then get a video package on the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match and how Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura earned their title shot as well as a discussion from the panel.

WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) then talk about when they faced off a few years ago and how they never thought about being partners. Axiom then mentions asking Frazer to be his partner in the Dusty Classic. Frazer then says he wants to know how they can do against the top teams. Axiom then talks about facing some of the greatest tag teams and they mention Edge and Christian, The Usos and the Hardys. Axiom then says they can’t look past Inamura and Briggs. Frazer then says they always find a way to make it through. Frazer then says they are so much different than they were last year at Stand & Deliver. Axiom then says they will cement themselves as the best tag team. Frazer then says maybe they will end up as the greatest tag team of all time.

We then get a video package on the WWE NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

We then get a video package on the Singles Match between “All Ego” Ethan Page vs. “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans and a discussion from the panel.

We then see an interview that Vic Joseph had with “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans from earlier this week. Joseph asks Evans how he is feeling. Evans says his jaw still hurts. Evans then says he is ready for this weekend. Joseph then asks Evans about the recovery process. Evans says it has been intense. Evans then says it takes you to a place where you can learn your limits. Evans then says Ethan Page will find out how far he will go. Joseph then talks about Page’s history of hurting people and if he is scared to return to the ring. Evans says he would be lying if he said no. Evans then says he has gone through different mindsets. Evans then says he saw people he loved getting hurt. Evans then says he knew he had to come back even harder. Evans then says he will find out on Saturday.

Joseph then asks Evans how does it feel that the Je’Von Evans smile is coming back at Vengeance Day. Evans says he took that for granted. Evans then says he is ready to go through hell on Saturday. Joseph then asks Evans about the hold harmless clause and whether he has asked himself if this is worth risking his career. Evans then says he has been thinking about that question a lot. Evans then says Page took his smile to get his. Evans then says he is going against someone nobody likes. Evans then says he is going against someone who will do whatever it takes to win. Evans then says he is not going to sit back because he is new to the business. Evans then says Page will see a new Je’Von Evans. Evans then says he is coming to whoop Page’s ass.

We then get a video package on the Strap Match between Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe and a discussion from the panel.

We then get a video package on the WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match and a discussion from the panel.

We then see an interview that Sarah Schreiber had with A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller). Schreiber asks them about their NXT career highlights. Waller says he came as a no name indie wrestler from Australia and he gave everything to make it in NXT. Waller then says he won the first Iron Survivor Challenge and he took out Johnny Gargano. Theory then says there were a lot of sharks in NXT and he did his best to swim. Theory then says he wasn’t here long and he won the U.S. Title and beat John Cena at WrestleMania.

Schreiber then asks about their tag team success and why they challenged Oba Femi. Theory says Femi needs some stars to push him and Waller says they were asked to come down by Ava. Waller then says they came to see what Femi is about and he will lose the title because he is too arrogant. Schreiber then asks about this week’s NXT and they argue over who was responsible for what happened to Femi. Waller then stops Schreiber and says everyone is trying to break them up. Waller then says there will be a new champion on Saturday. Schreiber points out it is a Triple Threat Match. Schreiber then asks who ends up winning. Waller says it will be him. Theory then says it will be him. They both then say us.

We then see WWE NXT Champion “The Ruler Of NXT” Oba Femi leaving the WWE PC on Tuesday. Femi says they got the best of him on that night, but it will not happen again. Femi then says he saw the look in their eyes when they held the title belt. Femi then says they will meet their inevitable end on Saturday and he will remain the ruler of NXT.

Morant and Roberts then run through the card for tonight’s PLE once more and the Countdown To WWE NXT Vengeance Day pre-show comes to a close.

WWE NXT Vengeance Day Results (2/15/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with separate shots of the arrivals of WWE NXT Champion “The Ruler Of NXT” Oba Femi, A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller), Bayley, “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade and WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Beautiful Madness” Giulia.

We then get a video package on tonight’s show, which features highlights from previous Vengeance Day PLE.

Vic Joseph, Corey Graves and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show and we get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match.

WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley (c) vs. “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer

The match starts off with both women locking up. Both women then take turns locking each other in submission holds and rolling each other up, but Vaquer hits a kick on Henley’s midsection and looks to send her head repeatedly crashing into the mat. Henley then avoids it and cinches in a Fujiwara Armbar on Vaquer. Vaquer then escapes and uses the ropes to wrench back on Henley’s arm. Vaquer then looks to fly into the ring, but Henley intercepts her with a kick. Jacy Jayne then hits a kick on Vaquer on the outside as Henley and Nyx distract the referee. Henley then hits Vaquer with a clothesline and follows it up with a forearm before hitting her with a sliding forearm and going for a pin. Vaquer then kicks out and Henley sends her crashing into the corner, then sends her into the mat and goes for another pin and Vaquer kicks out.

Vaquer then dials it up for a 619 on Henley, then follows it up with a crossbody over the top rope and hits her with a back suplex. Vaquer then sends Henley’s head repeatedly bouncing off the mat, then hits a knee on her midsection and nails her with a back elbow. Vaquer then hits a Sole Food on Henley and follows it up with a Dragon Screw, then hits a meteora on Henley in the corner and pins her and Henley kicks out.

Jayne then takes a cheap shot at Vaquer from the outside and Henley looks to take advantage by pinning Vaquer. Vaquer then kicks out, but Henley sends her crashing into the turnbuckles face first. Vaquer then sends Henley out of the ring and crashing into the ring post, then takes down both Nyx and Jayne before tripping Henley on the ring apron and sending her crashing into it face first. Vaquer then hits a crossbody on Fatal Influence off the top rope. Vaquer then gets Henley back inside the ring and hits her with a package backbreaker, then follows it up with a tornillo off the top rope for the win.

The winner and new WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion, “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer!

Commentary hypes up how Vaquer is the first South American born wrestler to become a champion in WWE.

We then see Josh Briggs gift his partner Yoshiki Inamura with a leather vest of his own as they discuss their battle plan for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer and Axiom) (c) vs. Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura

The match starts off with Yoshiki Inamura and Axiom and Frazer tags in. Axiom and Frazer then hit a double kick on Inamura and the two continue to double team on Inamura. Inamura then nails Axiom with a chop and tags in Briggs. Axiom then delivers some chops on Briggs, then tags in Inamura. Axiom then hits a dropkick on Inamura’s knee, but Briggs chokeslams Axiom on top of Inamura’s knee and hits a forearm on him.

Inamura then tags in and delivers some strikes on Axiom in the corner, then sends him into the corner face first and nails him with a chop. Inamura then delivers some chops on Axiom in the corner, but Axiom nails him with a kick on his face. Frazer and Briggs then tag in and Frazer hits a kick on Briggs in the corner. Frazer then follows it up with a DDT and a standing Shooting Star Press on Briggs. Axiom then tags in and climbs to the top before Frazer tags in. Axiom then hits a Frog Splash on Briggs and Frazer flies off the top.

Axiom then looks to fly off the middle rope, but Briggs hits a backbreaker on Axiom and a powerbomb on Frazer. Briggs then sends Axiom over to Inamura and Inamura hits him with a powerbomb. Inamura then climbs to the top, but Axiom hits him with an enzuigiri and follows it up with a Spanish Fly. Frazer then looks to fly off the top, but Briggs joins him up there and chokeslams him onto Axiom.

Frazer then tags in and looks to fly off the top with a crossbody. Inamura then catches him and hits him with a Fallaway Slam, then sends Axiom crashing into the corner with a shoulder pounce. Inamura then gets both Axiom and Frazer up, then takes them for a ride and hits a Death Valley Driver on Frazer on top of Axiom. Inamura then looks to hit a Frog Splash off the top, but Frazer and Axiom roll out of the way. Axiom then flies off the top with a moonsault to land on Briggs on the outside. He then tags in and hits a dropkick on Briggs off the top as Frazer goes low and trips Inamura for the win.

After the match, Briggs and Inamura shake hands with Axiom and Frazer. Saqoun Shugars (Lucky Ali), Cutler James, Osiris Griffin (Josh Black) and Dion Lennox then blindsides them with an attack out of nowhere. Commentary then speculates that these were the four men in the teasers on past episodes of NXT making their mark at the expense of the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions.

We then head to the usual Italian restaurant that Tony D’Angelo and The D’Angelo Family eat at. Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo recaps how Izzi Dame betrayed them and it led to Tony D’Angelo being put on the shelf. Stacks is then shown by himself and he says on Tuesday he was going to take the head off the snake to avenge The Family.

Separate shots are then shown of Je’von Evans and Ethan Page warming up backstage.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Strap Match.

Strap Match: Trick Williams vs. Eddy Thorpe

The match starts off with Eddy Thorpe wasting no time going after Williams. Williams then clotheslines Thorpe out of the way, then hits a chop on him as the official looks to place the strap on both men. Williams then hits a back body drop on Thorpe, then places the strap on himself and Thorpe. Williams then uses the strap to send Thorpe crashing into the ring post on the outside. Williams then gets Thorpe back in the ring, then hits a right hand on him and uses the strap to send his face bouncing off the top rope. Williams then climbs to the top, but Thorpe trips him and hits him across the spine with the strap. Thorpe then sends Williams over the top and out of the ring, then hits him with the strap a second time and a third time across the midsection.

Thorpe then continues hitting Williams with the strap, then uses it to tie Williams around the ring post and hits him with the strap repeatedly. Thorpe then uses the strap to send Williams crashing into the ring post and deliver some right hands on Williams back in the ring before sending him crashing into the turnbuckle face first twice.

Thorpe then hits his signature elbow drop on Williams and goes for a pin, but Williams kicks out and sends Thorpe crashing into the mat. Williams then uses the strap to lock in a crossface on Thorpe, then hits him with a clothesline and nails him repeatedly with the strap. Williams then hits a couple of flapjacks on Thorpe and hits him with the Trick Shot, but Thorpe rolls out of the ring before Williams can get the pin. Thorpe and Williams then exchange boots, but Thorpe uses the strap to hit a low blow on Williams. Thorpe then follows it up with a jumping knee on Williams for the win.

Separate shots of Bayley and Cora Jade are then shown as they were warming up for tonight’s main event.

Commentary then recaps Ricky Starks’ surprise appearance on last Tuesday’s NXT and we got remarks from Starks himself. Starks says he will be signing his official WWE NXT contract on Tuesday.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page

The match starts off with both men wasting no time in going after each other. Evans then hits a tope suicida on Page that sends him crashing over the announce desk. Evans then delivers some right hands on Page, then nails him back inside the ring and follows it up with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Evans then hits a chop on Page in the corner, then sets up for the OG Cutter. Page then avoids it and Evans low bridges him onto the apron before flying over the top rope to land on him.

Evans then places Page on the ring steps, then looks to stomp on his head. Page then moves out of the way, then dropkicks the ring steps in order to target Evans’ ankle. Page then hits a knee on Evans’ ankle back inside the ring, then cinches in an Ankle Lock on him. Page then hits a bodyslam on Evans, then powerslams him and goes for a pin but Evans kicks out.

Evans then looks to fly off the top, but Page trips him and hits him with Ego’s Edge. Page then goes for the pin, but Evans kicks out once again and delivers some right and left hands on Page. Evans then hits a springboard roundhouse kick on Page, but Page counters with a neckbreaker for the win.

After the match, Je’von Evans is shown bleeding from the mouth while Ethan Page is laughing.

We then head to the back, where Sarah Schreiber is interviewing Stephanie Vaquer about her thoughts on winning the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Vaquer talks about making history. Vaquer then says her night is not over because she is going to stay to watch the main event.

WWE NXT Championship Triple Threat Match: “The Ruler Of NXT” Oba Femi (c) vs. A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory vs. A-Town Down Under’s Grayson Waller

The match starts off with Grayson Waller hitting Oba Femi with a superkick. Austin Theory then joins in and they double team on Femi in the corner. A-Town Down Under then hit double rolling forearms on Femi and Waller hits a double of kicks on Femi. Theory and Waller then look to hit a double suplex on Femi, but Femi hits them both with a double suplex. Waller then hits a jumping knee on Femi and Theory hits a forearm on Femi. Theory and Waller then clothesline Femi out of the ring and shoves each other, but Femi pulls Waller out of the ring and nails both him and Theory. Femi then clears the announce desk, then hits a double chop on Waller and Theory. Femi then sends Waller crashing into the ring steps, then tosses the ring steps at Theory. Waller then sends himself and Femi crashing into the ring steps in order to take out Femi, then delivers some elbows on Femi.

Waller then repeatedly hits Femi with a chair, then places him on it and looks to fly off the top. Femi then intercepts him, but Waller escapes his grasp. Femi then hits Waller with a Sidewalk Slam onto a chair. Theory then gets Femi in an Electric Chair position as he teeters on the ropes and sends him crashing into the mat, while Femi simultaneously hits a superplex on Waller. Femi then grabs a table from under the ring, but Theory and Waller attack him and set the table up. Waller then hits an elbow drop on Femi off the ropes and Theory pins Femi. Femi then kicks out as Waller looks at him.

Theory then sets up for A-Town Down on Femi, but Femi escapes and hits him with a spinebuster. Femi then sends Waller crashing through the announce desk, but Theory nails Femi with a chair from behind. Femi then knocks the chair out of his hand, but Theory nails Femi with a DDT and follows it up with A-Town Down. Theory then goes for a pin, but Waller pulls the referee out of the ring before the referee can complete the count. Theory then berates Waller from the outside, but Femi hits with a spinning powerbomb onto the mat. Waller then looks to hit a rolling Stunner on Femi, but Femi avoids it and Waller accidentally hits Theory. Femi then hits a powerbomb on Waller for the win.

After the match, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin appears in the crowd and attacks Femi. They then leave him laid out with a powerbomb.

We then head to the back, where Sarah Schreiber is interviewing NXT General Manager Ava about her thoughts on Oba Femi getting jumped by the mystery men. Ava says the mystery men wanted to make an impact. Ava then says she will deal with that later. Ava then talks about NXT being on the road in Ohio in a few weeks. Ava then says it’s Lexis King’s hometown and he has been annoying her about being on the show. Ava then tries to hype up Stand & Deliver. The NXTNA liaison Ariana Grace then shows up and thanks Ava for letting her be the liaison. Grace then introduces Ava to her dad, Santino Marella. Marella says he is proud of Ava since he remember first meeting Ava as a little kid. Ava then says she is happy to talk with Santino about further collaboration between NXT and TNA.

Commentary then checks in from their destroyed announce desk. The following matches are then advertised for the upcoming NXT on CW: Jaida Parker vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Karmen Petrovic, Sol Ruca and ZARIA vs. Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Shawn Spears and the contract signing of the (still unnamed) Ricky Starks.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the main event of the night, which is a WWE NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Match.

WWE NXT Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Match: “The Beautiful Madness” Giulia (c) vs. “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez vs. Bayley vs. Cora Jade

The match starts off with Bayley going after Perez. Both women then trade forearms with one another, but Giulia nails them both with a double dropkick off the middle rope. Giulia then looks to go after Bayley in the corner, but Perez and Jade go after Giulia. Jade then hits Perez with a shoulder tackle, but all four women take turns rolling each other up. Giulia then brawls with Perez as Bayley and Jade go after one another. Bayley then sends Jade out of the ring and Perez does the same to Giulia. They then hit a double tope suicida on Jade and Giulia before brawling with one another in the ring.

Giulia then hits Jade and Perez with a double dropkick in the ring, then goes back and forth with Bayley. Giulia then stomps on Bayley’s neck and runs the ropes, but Perez and Jade trip her. Giulia and Bayley then send Perez and Jade’s heads bouncing off the ring apron and Bayley delivers a chop on Perez as Giulia holds her in place. Giulia and Bayley then hit a double suplex on Jade, but Perez and Jade nail Bayley and Giulia with superkicks. They then deliver some right hands on Perez and Jade, but Perez hits a moonsault off the middle rope on Bayley.

Jade then hits a suplex on Giulia, then follows it up with a stomp on her spine and flies off the top rope to land on Bayley and Giulia. Perez then delivers some right and left hands on Jade, but Bayley hits a couple of double knees on Jade’s midsection and nails Perez with a clothesline on the outside. Bayley then hits double jawbreakers on Jade and Perez off the middle turnbuckle, but Giulia hits a boot on Bayley’s face and wears her down with a submission hold.

Perez then cinches in a crossface on Giulia before sending Giulia crashing into the bottom turnbuckle with a Sunset Flip. Perez then sets up for Pop Rox on Bayley, but Jade hits a jumping knee on Perez and follows it up with a DDT on Bayley. Jade then goes for a pin, but Perez breaks the fall. Perez, Giulia and Bayley then teeter on the ropes, but Jade pulls them all off. Bayley and Perez then brawl once again as Giulia and Jade go after each other. Jade then hits a suplex on Giulia on the floor, but Perez hits Pop Rox on Bayley and sends her back inside the ring. Perez then hits a second Pop Rox on Bayley and pins her, but Jade rolls up Perez. Perez then kicks out, but Jade hits a DDT on Perez. Giulia then breaks the fall and hits a Ripcord Knee on Perez, then sends Perez crashing into the mat for the win.

After the match, Stephanie Vaquer makes her way down to the ring to celebrate with Giulia. Jordynne Grace’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring, staring down the newly crowned NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer and NXT Women’s Champion Giulia as the show comes to a close.
