Tonight’s WWE NXT airing January 27, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. WWE NXT Results (1/27/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us as we see Joe Hendry laid out in the back and The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes, Brad Baylor and WWE EVOLVE Champion Jackson Drake) standing over him. The Vanity Project insists they didn’t attack Joe Hendry and NXT General Manager Ava says she wants to know what happened and she wants to get things adjusted.

We then see Tony D’Angelo walking with his security detail.

Ricky Saints then joins the announce desk as DarkState makes their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and OTM follows.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: DarkState (Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars) (c) vs. OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price)

The match starts off with Nima and Saquon and Nima tosses Saquon around. Saquon then tries to go through the legs, but Nima blocks him. Price then tags in and he hits a head butt for a near fall. Saquon then hits a jaw breaker and Osiris tags in. They then try to move each other and they pie face each other. Osiris then hits a boot. Nima then tags in and he hits a hip toss and they send Saquon face first to the mat. They then do the same to Osiris. Saquon, Osiris and Cutler then surround the ring, but Saquon cannot take control and he has a kick blocked. Osiris then hits Nima from behind and Osiris hits a suplex. Price then tags in and they kick Osiris and get a near fall.

Price then cinches in a wrist lock and Saquon tags in and he holds on to the wrist lock. Price then hits an Irish whip that sends Saquon into the turnbuckles face first. Osiris then tags in and he goes for a slam, but Price escapes. Price then hits a slam to Osiris and to Saquon. Nima then tags in. Nima then punches Osiris, but misses a forearm. Saquon then tags in and Nima hits a suplex and he holds on for a second one with a delay. Saquon then hits a knee to block a third one. Osiris then tags in and he sends Nima into the corner and Saquon hits a splash. Nima then hits a suplex and Price press slams Saquon onto Cutler on the floor. Nima then hits a bronco buster to Osiris in the ropes.

Nima then works on Osiris’ shoulder. Price then tags in and Price hits a knee. Nima then hits a curb stomp for a near fall. Nima then tags in and Osiris escapes a slam and hits a forearm. Saquon then tags in and Nima cinches in a Greco Roman knuckle lock. Saquon then gets a victory roll for a near fall. Nima then hits an uppercut and elbow drop. Saquon then tries for a drop toe hold, but Nima does not go down. Cutler then distracts Nima and Saquon hits a clip. Osiris then tags in and hits a splash.

Osiris then chokes Nima in the ropes. Osiris then hits some punches and an uppercut. Osiris then hits a shoulder tackle. Osiris then hits a punch and a forearm to the back of the neck. Nima then fights out of the corner and he punches Osiris. Osiris then hits a kick and a knee. Saquon then tags in and he hits a springboard neck breaker while Osiris hits a belly-to-back suplex. Saquon then gets a near fall. Nima then kicks Saquon away, but Saquon stops Nima from making the tag. Saquon then hits a dragon screw and Osiris tags in and misses a slingshot splash. Nima then sends Saquon over the top rope and to the floor. Both men then go for a cross body at the same time and both men go down.

Price then tags in and clotheslines Saquon and Osiris. Price then hits a back drop and a clothesline. Price then hits clotheslines to both men in the corner. Price then tosses Osiris into the center of the ring and he catches Saquon as he comes off Osiris’ back. Price then hits a uranage and he gets a near fall. We then see Hank and Tank watching in the back while Vanity Project runs past them. They then make their way to the ring and that allows Saquon to roll up Price for win.

After the match, all of the tag teams come out and fight to the back. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears then attack Osiris, Cutler and Saquon. They then hit the elevated assisted DDT on Osiris.

We then see Nikkita Lyons talking in the locker room and Blake Monroe comes in and mocks Jaida Parker. Nikkita then says Blake should have her own chant. Nikkita then says she knows that Blake has gone through so much. Blake then says she cannot let Jaida hold her back. Nikkita then says Blake needs a sage. She then says she never has had a problem stepping up to the women of NXT. She then says she will face Jaida so Blake’s path will be clear. Blake then asks how can she pay her back.

Nikkita Lyons then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Jaida Parker follows.

Singles Match: Jaida Parker vs. Nikkita Lyons

The match starts off with both women locking up and Parker nails Lyons with a shoulder block and wears her down with a submission hold and transitions into a pinfall. Lyons then kicks out and hits some forearms on Parker, then nails her with a right hand and goes for a pin.

Parker then kicks out, but Lyons takes her down with a suplex and a powerbomb. Parker and Lyons then nails one another with forearms and Parker hits her signature Hip Attack on Lyons in the corner and follows it up with a pump handle sit-out powerbomb for the win.

After the match, Blake Monroe appears on the big screen and says no one gets away with taking the spotlight from her before telling Parker that she will see her soon. Parker then responds by telling Monroe that she knows where to find her.

We then see Tavion Heights tells Eli Knight and Elio. LeFleur that they came close last week. Lexis King and his men then show up and he wants to know why they are listening to Tavion. He then says this is the big leagues and there is money to be made. He then says Tavion has blown too many chances. He then sys they are going to get what is their birth right.

The Elegance Brand then talk about how Sol Ruca and ZARIA earned a tag title match. Heather then tells ZARIA that Sol tried to steal the spotlight. M then says ZARIA only worried about herself. The Personal Concierge then says they are healthy and they will work on their shoulder.

We then see ZARIA in locker room and she calls Sol to find out where she is and if she watched The Elegance Brand. Thea Hail then shows up and asks ZARIA about Sol. She then says friends come and go. She then says she thought she was friends with Lola. ZARIA. then asks Thea if she is complaining because she stumbled upon a championship when she didn’t earn it. Thea then says she earned the title. They then go back and forth. ZARIA then tells Sol she will see her later.

We then see Ethan Page stop Myles Borne and he says it is a huge opportunity for the world to see if you are righteous and ruthless. He then says Dion Lennox does not care about the rules. He then says maybe that is why they have gold while you have participation awards. He then says do what you need to do to win the match. Myles then tells Ethan not to worry about how he does business. Ricky Saints then says he will be ringside. Myles then tells Ricky no one wants to hear him and he says if he sees him, he will drop him.

We then see Ava on the phone talking about the women’s division and she says she supports any decision they make. The Vanity Project then ask about Joe and she says Joe is not cleared. Ava then blames them for the attack and the tag match. They then deny any involvement with Joe. They then says they were just trying to do something. Ava then says she cannot prove they attacked Joe and since there is a spot available, Drake is in the ladder match, but Ricky and Brad are banned from ringside. She then says if Joe is cleared, he is in the match as well.

Dion Lennox then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Myles Borne follows.

WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Ladder Match Qualifier: Myles Borne vs. DarkState’s Dion Lennox

The match starts off with both men locking up and Myles cinches in a side head lock. Myles then keeps Dion from escaping the hold. Myles then hits a shoulder tackle. Dion then hits a forearm and Myles goes down. Dion then hits a side head lock take down. Myles then hits a head scissors and Dion escapes. Myles then cinches in a waist lock and transitions into a side head lock. Myles then escapes a slam and Myles gets a near fall. Myles then gets an inside cradle for a near fall. Dion then gets a rollup for a near fall. Dion then gets a back slide for a near fall. Myles then hits a drop kick. Dion then hits a kick and an Irish whip. Dion then hits a splash into the corner. Dion then hits another Irish whip and a clothesline into the corner. Dion then gets a near fall.

Dion then hits an Irish whip and Myles floats over and gets a near fall. They then exchange punches. Dion then hits an Irish whip and a splash. Myles then avoids another splash and Myles hits an Irish whip and a uppercut. Myles then hits an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Dion then blocks a suplex and he hits a clothesline. The referee then checks on Dion while the conversation continues. Myles then sends Dion back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Myles then hits a suplex and he gets a near fall.

Dion then hits some punches and Myles hits some kicks to Dion. Myles then hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Myles then cinches in a front face lock. Myles then gets another near fall. Dion then hits a hot shot and a clothesline. Dion then hits some punches to Myles followed by a boot to the chest. Dion then chokes Myles in the ropes. Dion then hits a DDT for a near fall. Dion then hits another DDT for another near fall.

Dion then applies a nerve hold. Myles then hits some elbows and Dion hits a back elbow. Dion then hits an Irish whip and he misses a splash. Myles then hits a German suplex and he gets a near fall. Dion then applies a cravate and Myles hits a snap power slam. Myles and Dion then throw punches and Myles hits some forearms and a drop kick. Myles then hits a jumping knee and he hits a Saito suplex. Dion then hits a double leg take down and Dion uses the ropes and the referee sees Dion cheating. Dion then rakes the eyes to escape a suplex. Myles then hits a clothesline. Ethan then pushes one of his title belts to Myles to use and Ethan distracts the referee. Myles then has the belt taken from him by the referee and Dion hits an Island Driver for the win.

After the match, Ethan yells at Myles for not cheating. He then tells Myles to pull the trigger. Myles then punches Ethan.

We then see Tony D’Angelo and security walk in the back and into Ava’s office. Ricky is talking to Ava and says Keanu is going to be a big problem. Ricky then says he doesn’t want anyone interfering in the ladder match to keep him from being the champion. He then says he is going to address his opponents. Tony then asks Ava why did she bail him out. Ava then says despite ruining her show week after week, NXT needs him. She then says some people are in it for themselves. She then asks Tony if he is in or if he is out. Tony then says he had to get her attention and next week, he will let everyone know his intentions. Tony then says he is not the same Tony D’Angelo. Ava then tells Tony not to interfere in the ladder match.

We then see Uriah Connors yell at Kale Dixon for not being out there. Uriah then says he is trying to maximize their opportunity. He then says it hasn’t been working. Andre Chase then says he has to get ready for his match against Keanu Carver. Lexis then tells Uriah he is glad he is listening. He then says your father should be proud. Lexis then says he knows his father would.

Tavion Heights then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lexis King follows.

Singles Match: Tavion Heights vs. Lexis King

The match starts off with Tavion blocking a kick and Tavion hitting a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. King then drops Tavion on the top rope and hits a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Tavion then gets King up and hits a power slam for a near fall. Tavion then hits a hard Irish whip and a shoulder in the corner. Tavion then hits more shoulders. King then tries to send Tavion into the turnbuckles, but he stops short. King then hits a back elbow and he sends Tavion to the floor with a rollup. King then sends Tavion into the ringside barrier and follows it up with a super kick. King then kicks Tavion against the ring steps.

Arianna and Channing then come out to watch. King and Tavion then exchange strikes. Tavion then hits a forearm and a modified sling blade. King then hits a kick. Tavion then rolls through to pick up King and he sends him to the mat. Tavion then hits a gut-wrench gourdbuster and he clotheslines King against the ropes. Tavion then goes for a clothesline and misses. Tavion then goes over the top rope and to the floor. Tavion then hits a shoulder and he misses a slingshot shoulder tackle. King then sets up for the Coronation and hits it for the win.

After the match, Lexis says this is just the beginning.

We then get a video package on NXT legend Finn Bálor. He says before NXT, he just went out to wrestle. Finn then says NXT turned him from a wrestler into a superstar. Finn then says without those years in NXT, without opening up to the cameras, he wouldn’t have been as successful on RAW or SmackDown. Finn then says those times were some of the most important development and the happiest years of his career.

ZARIA then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Thea Hail follows. Izzi Dame then joins the announce desk.

Singles Match: ZARIA vs. Thea Hail

The match starts off with ZARIA pushing Thea and Thea hits a forearm and she tries for a kimura, but ZARIA pushes Thea away. Thea then hits a side head lock take down. ZARIA then tries to escape, but Thea holds on when ZARIA tries to send her off the ropes. Thea then hits a wheelbarrow into an arm drag. Thea then cinches in a side head lock. ZARIA then pushes Thea away when she goes for an Acid Drop. ZARIA then gets Thea up and Thea escapes. Thea then hits a drop kick. Thea then hits a suicide dive. Thea then goes for the kimura, but ZARIA sends her away. ZARIA then hits a hot shot out of a wheelbarrow followed by a boot.

ZARIA then gets a near fall. ZARIA then hits a hard Irish whip. ZARIA then hits an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. ZARIA then hits a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Thea then slaps ZARIA and ZARIA slaps back. ZARIA then hits an Irish whip, but she runs into a boot. ZARIA then catches Thea and hits a back breaker for a near fall. ZARIA then kicks Thea against the ropes and chokes her in the ropes. Thea then hits some punches to the midsection. ZARIA then hits a forearm. ZARIA then hits a boot to the midsection. Thea then hits some punches and forearms. Thea then gets a rollup for a near fall. ZARIA then hits a clothesline and she gets a near fall. ZARIA then cinches in a cloverleaf.

Thea then powers herself up and escapes. Thea then hits some forearms. ZARIA then sends Thea into the turnbuckles and follows it up with shoulders. Thea then floats over and ZARIA hits a knee. ZARIA then goes to the turnbuckles and elevates Thea for a rear naked choke. ZARIA then comes off the turnbuckles and Thea hits a Codebreaker. Thea then hits some punches while she avoids ZARIA’s punches. Thea then hits a head butt. Thea then hits a double sledge and a flying double forearm. Thea then hits an elbow into the corner. ZARIA then blocks an exploder.

Thea then hits a thrust kick. Thea then hits a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Thea then goes for a slam and hits it. Thea then rolls over ZARIA and sets up for a springboard Coffin Drop, but ZARIA catches Thea and hits a German suplex. Thea then catches ZARIA into a LeBell Lock and she applies the kimura. ZARIA then gets to her feet and she back drops Thea to escape. ZARIA then hits a spear and she goes for the F5, but Thea counters with a DDT. ZARIA then hits a head butt. Meanwhile, Tatum Paxley attacks Izzi at the announce desk and they go through the ring. Thea then gets a rollup for the win.

After the match, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley get on the apron while Thea and ZARIA stand in the ring. Thea then says she is with her and ZARIA hits an F5. ZARIA then wants them to enter the ring, but Fallon and Lainey leave.

We then head to the back, where Wren Sinclair asks Charlie Dempsey about their match last week. He says they were impressed except for them losing. Wren then says she doesn’t appreciate him being a negative Charles. She then says they could have been the #1 contenders. Kendal then says Sol and ZARIA got the title match and Kendal says she can beat Jacy. Arianna, Lexis and Channing then say they want to talk to Charlie. Kendal and Wren then leave. Arianna then tells Charlie that he is one of them.

Andre Chase then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Keanu Carver follows.

WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Ladder Match Qualifier: Chase U’s Andre Chase vs. Keanu Carver

The match starts off with Chase hitting some boots to the head, but Keanu hits a clothesline and some shoulders in the corner. Chase then hits a knee and Carver pushes Chase over the top rope and to the floor. Keanu then hits punches to Chase and a forearm. Carver then chokes Chase against the ring post. Keanu then sends Chase face first into the mat and into the ropes. Carver then hits a back elbow. Keanu then sends Chase’s nose into the ropes. Keanu then hits a knee. Chase then hits some elbows and Keanu hits a knee to the midsection. Keanu then hits a suplex and he gets a near fall. Keanu then hits some knees to the head. Keanu then misses a splash into the corner and Chase works on the legs. Chase then hits a chop and Chase goes for a side Russian leg sweep, but Keanu blocks it and hits a back elbow. Chase then hits a tornado DDT.

Chase then goes up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall. Chase then follows Keanu to the floor and Carver sends Chase into the apron, but Chase hits a running tackle to send both of them over the announce desk. Keanu then leaps to the announce desk and hits a back drop driver onto the announce desk. He then brings Chase into the ring and hits a power slam for the win.

After the match, Keanu sends Chase into the turnbuckles and into the exposed turnbuckle. Keanu then stomps on Chase’s head on the top step.

It is then announced that on next week’s show we have the Ladder Match for the NXT Title, Sol Ruca and ZARIA face Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance, Tony D’Angelo will talk and Izzi Dame defends the Women’s North American Title against Thea Hail and Lola Vice.

We then see the medical staff tending to Andre Chase. Keanu asks if you thought that cornball teacher was going to beat him. He then says he is going to stack everyone up. He then says if anyone has something to say to him, they can come to the ring. We then go to locker room, where several people each make their way down to the ring.

We then get a video package for the NXT Title.

Keanu Carver is waiting in the ring. Almost everyone in the match who is cleared is now in the ring. Shiloh says what you just did might have scared some, but not him. He then says likes hearing bones break. He then says we will have brutality and you need to use your brain. Dion then interrupts and he says dropping body is their blueprint. He then says you won’t jump him in line for the title. Sean then asks what if he is out of his mind. He then says he has been doing crazy stuff night after night looking for an opportunity. He then says he has nothing to lose. He then says he can be a little crazy.

Jackson then says that is why Legacy is going to choke. He then says he can be the human highlight reel. He then says he is calculating. He then says he didn’t break a sweat to get into the match. He then says the guy he was supposed to face suffered an unfortunate injury. He then says you will all get to say that you were part of history to see him become the youngest double champ. Ricky Saints then gets his entrance and he brings out a ladder and climbs it.

Ricky then says the view from up here is absolutely beautiful. He then says he sees a lot of potential and future champions. He then says you are the seeds who have not sprout yet. He then says he is the rose that bloomed in this concrete jungle. Keanu then says you have done too much talking and we don’t have to wait. Jackson then hits a Spanish Fly on Legacy, but Legacy hits a cross body that sends both men over the top rope. Keanu then sends Hill to the floor. Ricky then hits Keanu with the ladder and he climbs and touches the belt. Joe’s music then hits and he limps to the ring. Joe then hits a Standing Ovation to Ricky. Joe then looks at the belt and he spins. Keanu then hits a twisting power slam on Joe. Keanu then stands tall above everyone else and stares at the NXT Championship as the show comes to a close.
