Tonight’s WWE NXT airing December 9, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The post-WWE NXT Deadline show sees WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion “The Glamour” Blake Monroe defend her title in an Open Challenge Match. Plus, Kelani Jordan will face “The Juggernaut” Jordynne Grace in a Singles Match.

The show opens up with a video package recapping this past Saturday night’s WWE NXT Deadline.
Commentary then welcomes us to the show as Oba Femi’s music hits and Femi makes his way down to the ring. Oba then grabs a mic and starts off by saying power, true power. Oba then says it doesn’t bend, it doesn’t break, it doesn’t beg. Oba then says it watches the world around it. Oba then says this is true power. Oba then says he is a two time champion. Oba then says the stars aligned for Ricky Saints at No Mercy. Oba then says NXT was not the same without him on top. Oba then says the universe did what it did best. Oba then says it found a way to correct itself. Oba then says he rose from the ashes to reclaim his title. Oba then says the title belongs here. Oba then says it belongs on his shoulder. Oba then says he is done with Ricky Saints. Oba then says on Saturday, he will stand across the ring from Cody Rhodes. Oba then says he will not see the future and potential. Oba then says he will see the now in all of his glory.
Ricky Saints then interrupts and he makes his way down to the ring. Ricky tells Oba he wants to be the first to congratulate him. Ricky then says prophecy fulfilled. Ricky then says his bag is lighter because you did what you said you would do. Ricky then says he shook Oba’s hand because he is man enough to admit that Oba was the better man at Deadline. Ricky then says he had to think about what is next for him. Ricky then says he sees Oba with the belt and he says that is it. Ricky then says he won’t get another chance to regain that. Ricky then says he remembered who the hell he is. Ricky then says he is “Absolute” Ricky Saints. Ricky then says if you think he is going to bow down and go to the side, you are wrong. Ricky then says he is coming about what is his. Ricky then says you talk about the universe correcting itself. Ricky then says he is steering it back on course. Ricky then says it is him 1 and Oba Femi 1. Ricky then says he is demanding his rematch.
Je’Von Evans then makes his way out and he wants to know what is going on. Evans then says he ain’t gonna lie and he wasn’t going to interrupt. Evans then says he watched Deadline over and over and over and over again. Evans then says he survived the Iron Survivor Challenge. Evans then says because of that he earned a title match at New Year’s Evil. Evans then says that made him wonder. Evans then says why wait until January to have that match. Evans then says he is on fire and he is locked in. Evans then says he is ready right now and no one is going to dictate his moment. Evans then suggests that he has his title match tonight. Ricky then tells Evans to hold on. He then says wants to know what is the rush. He then says you are on a roll so what is the rush. Ricky then says if he gets his rematch it would be them for the title. He then says you have been there for him every step of the way. He then says are you sure this is what you want.
Evans then says everyone is telling him to wait. Evans then says people tell him he is the future, but he is the right now. Evans then says he doesn’t need the stars to align. Evans then says he doesn’t mean to be cocky, but no one is talking to him at age 21. Evans then says that is the play right now. Evans then says Oba is the man he has to beat for the title. Evans then says if there is anyone he is putting money on tonight, it is himself. Ricky then says he is with it. Ricky then says it is Evans’ time. Oba then asks them if they are going to tell him what to do. Ricky then asks if Oba is saying no to the Iron Survivor. Evans then says Oba is scared. Evans then says he has Oba’s number. Oba then says he is not afraid of Evans and you have never beaten him. Oba then says it will be no different tonight. Oba then says ‘Game On’.
We then look at the issues between Kelani Jordan and Jordynne Grace.
Tatum Paxley then cuts a promo and tells Izzi she said she would end this hopeless and pathetic version of herself. Tatum then says you did it. Tatum then says she is all gone now. Tatum then says she has nothing left to lose, but you do. Tatum then says you stabbed her in her back and separated her heart from her mind because she didn’t want to play your way. Tatum then says now we are going to play her way. Tatum then says it will eventually be you and me, alone together.
Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Jordynne Grace follows.
The match starts off with both women fighting in the aisle and Grace hits a clothesline. Grace then hits a shoulder from the apron and a Thesz Press followed by some punches. Grace then hits some slams. Kelani then escapes a slam, but Grace hits a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. They then exchange slaps and forearms. Kelani then escapes and Grace runs into a boot. Grace then sends Kelani into the turnbuckles and hits a running double knee strike to the back and a back elbow. Grace then misses a double jump Vader Bomb. Kelani then hits a drop kick to the knee and she kicks the hamstring. Kelani then continues to work on the leg.
Kelani then hits some elbow drops to the leg. Grace then kicks Kelani, but misses a shoulder. Grace then sends Kelani to the apron and they exchange forearms. Grace then goes for the Angle German suplex off the apron, but Kelani holds on. Kelani then hits a kick and Kelani goes for Spanish Fly off the apron, but Grace gets her foot in the ropes to block it. Kelani then counters and tries for a sunset flip power bomb off the apron. Grace then blocks it, but misses a knee drop on the apron. Kelani then slams Grace’s face and knee into the mat. Kelani then wraps the leg in the ropes. Kelani then hits a forearm and a knee drop to the leg hanging in the ropes.
Kelani then hits some kicks to the hamstring. Grace then kicks Kelani away. Kelani is then sent to the apron. Kelani then pulls Grace into the ring post and wrings the leg into the post. Kelani then goes for a ring post figure four, but she decides not to do it. Kelani then gets a near fall. Grace then punches Kelani. Kelani then goes for a reverse DDT and Grace counters into a suplex. Kelani then blocks a suplex attempt and she kicks Grace in the leg and puts her in the tree of woe. Kelani then hits some kicks to the knee. Kelani then goes up top and Grace hits a hanging belly-to-belly suplex in the tree of woe. Kelani and Grace then exchange forearms. Grace then gets a rollup for a near fall.
Grace then gets a Stretch Muffler and Grace hits a suplex out of the Stretch Muffler. Kelani then goes to the floor and she sets up for a Vertebreaker on the floor, but Kelani escapes and she clips Grace. Kelani then sends Grace into the ring steps and Kelani gets a chair and she misses Grace and hits the steps. They then return to the ring and Grace hits a spine buster for a near fall. Kelani then hits a body scissors. Grace and Kelani then both work on each other’s legs and they are in a double head stand and they slap each other. Kelani then runs into a boot and Grace sends Kelani into the turnbuckles and follows it with a short arm clothesline.
Kelani then cinches in a front face lock and hits a kick. Grace then hits a Chaos Theory for a near fall. Grace is then sent to the floor and she pulls Kelani to the floor. They then roll through Tombstone Pile Driver set ups. Grace then avoids being sent into the ring steps and Grace sends Kelani into the ring steps. Grace then hits a double jump Vader Bomb off the ring steps. Grace then sends Kelani back into the ring and she grabs the chair. The referee then takes the chair and Kelani kicks Grace off the steps through the ringside barrier. Kelani then sends Grace back into the ring and Kelani hits a 450 splash for the win.

We then head to the back, where Jordynne Grace says everything was perfect and she can’t even beat rookies or Kelani. Thea Hail then says it is not time to doubt yourself. She then says you need to believe in yourself. Grace then asks if she is getting advice from a 16 year old. Thea then says she is 22, but she has been here since she was 18 so she is grizzled. She then runs out to join the rest of the women who are going to try to accept the open challenge from Blake Monroe.
Blake then makes her way down to the ring and says she knows how much the locker room looks up to her and idolize her. She then says she is in a giving mood to give the less fortunate a chance. She then says who wants some glamour in their lives. She then mentions the open challenge. Most of them then come to the ring, but Thea Hail comes from the other side and she puts Blake in a kimura and Blake taps out, but the match never started. Thea then acts like she won the title.
We then head to the back, where Kelly Kincaid is with Shiloh Hill and she mentions his first match. Shiloh says he is a little nervous and he feels good. Shiloh then says he has a lot of pent up energy.
Shiloh Hill then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lexis King is already in the ring.
The match starts off with Hill sending King over the top rope and to the floor and he punches King and sends him into the apron and announce desk. Hill then sends King into the turnbuckles and he hits a back drop. Hill is then sent into the turnbuckles and King follows it up with a running drop kick for a near fall. King then hits a knee to the ribs. King then chops Hill. King then hits a knee to the midsection. King then hits a kick and a drop kick.
King then sends Hill into the turnbuckles and he chokes him. King then leaps into the corner and he slaps Hill. King and Hill then hits clotheslines at the same time and both men are down. Hill then takes out his mouth guard and he clotheslines King and hits a swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Hill then hits a flying shoulder tackle. King then hits a kick and a thrust kick, but it angers Hill. Hill then hits a back body drop and a belly-to-back into a cutter for the win.

Ethan Page is then presented with his shiny North American Championship belt and he walks in the backstage area.
We then head to the back, where Kelly Kincaid asks Oba Femi about what has happened tonight and how he has to defend his title against Je’Von Evans. Oba says when you are the champion, expect the unexpected. Oba then says it will end with him holding gold above his head. Oba then says Cody Rhodes knows what to expect from Evans, but he needs to watch him tonight. Oba then says who will carry Cody when he puts him to the ground on Saturday. Oba then says he will break the Iron Survivor. Oba then says Saturday he will break the American Nightmare.
Ethan Page then makes his way down to the ring. Ethan starts off by saying it does not matter when it comes to his North American Championship. Ethan then says he came to NXT to drink from the fountain of youth and soak up so much knowledge. Ethan then says he was the only one who had the balls to ask the questions nobody was willing to ask. Ethan then says while others asked how to hit the perfect drop kick, he asked how does he break someone’s jaw. Ethan then says now the wrestlers are pre-occupied with Tik Tok and social media for that finger point photo with their childhood hero. Ethan then says these are the same men he was asking so they could stay in the back staring at him with these title. Ethan then says we are all going to have to watch. Ethan then says we will watch John Cena have his final match in a few days. Ethan then says we will see John walk away for good.
Ethan then says he has learned that a week after he is gone, John will be a distant memory with a giant void to be filed. Ethan then says a man with a giant ego. Ethan then says the man who won the NXT Title in record time. Ethan then says he couldn’t find his path back so he went after this to make the North American Title, the most prestigious. Ethan then says every company has sent their best to try to take this title from him. Ethan then says a man like that deserves a break, but he didn’t stop and he went on to win the AAA Mixed Tag Title. Ethan then says it made him unique from everyone else in this company. Ethan then says there are three days that are important. Ethan then says the day you enter this world, the day you leave this world and the day you realize that he is the greatest superstar. Ethan then says NXT will be perfectly fine. The lights then go out and the lights come back on and Tony D’Angelo hits Ethan with a spine buster and he drops a black fabric on him.
We then head to the back, where we see DarkState walking and Dion Lennox goes into Ava’s office with the other three. Ava then mentions tonight’s title match. They then argue about who is next. Ava then says there will be a Fatal 4-Way Match to face the champion at New Year’s Evil. Ethan Page then shows up and he says he wants to know what is going on with Tony D’Angelo.
Sol Ruca then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Wren Sinclair is already in the ring with Kendal Grey.
The match starts off with both women locking up and Sol backs Wren into the corner, but Wren cinches in a waist lock. Sol then pushes Wren away. Sol then avoids Wren going after her knee. Sol then cinches in a waist lock. Sol then cinches in a Calf Crusher. Sol then cinches in a side head lock. Sol then misses a kick and Wren gets a rollup for a near fall. Sol then hits a leaping X-Factor for a near fall.
We then see ZARIA in the bleachers and Sol sees her too. Wren then gets a rollup for a near fall. Sol then gets a near fall. Wren then cinches in a side head lock. Wren then hits a back heel kick and a clothesline. Wren then hits a leaping face plant for a near fall. Wren then works on the leg. Sol then hits some elbows to escape. Sol then hits a kick and a back elbow for two. Wren then hits an Irish whip and Sol hits a missile drop kick and a thrust kick. Wren then hits an elbow and some chops. Wren then hits a butterfly suplex. Sol then floats over and she kicks Wren and hits a Sol Snatcher for the win.

After the match, ZARIA goes down a few steps and goes back up the bleachers. Sol then goes into the bleachers to chase after ZARIA.
Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid then make their way down to the ring. Jacy starts off by saying Kendal Grey is living the Cinderella Story to go from obscurity to the Iron Survivor. Jacy then says this moment is as good as it is going to get. Jacy then says you have all of these people hyping you up and supporting you. Jacy then says your stock is never higher. Jacy then says you are living the dream. Jacy then says this is why people say they want to do this. Jacy then says they want the love and support you are getting now. Jacy then says your reality is going to smack you in the face come New Year’s Evil. Jacy then says your fifteen minutes will be up when you lose. Jacy then says this crash and downward spiral she will send you on will be catastrophic. Jacy then says the fans will move on to the next flavor of the month. Jacy then says no one will tell you the truth other than her.
Jacy then says potential doesn’t win championships. Jacy then says you may be the EVOLVE Women’s champion, but holding this title is a whole different level. Jacy then says you may have spent all year trying to make a name for yourself, but she owned this year. Jacy then says she went from being underappreciated and overlooked to being the most dominant champion. Jacy then says she is a history maker. Jacy then says she held the NXT and TNA women’s titles at the same time. Jacy then says she is a two time champion. Jacy then says everybody realized what she has known all along. Jacy then says she is a rock star in this ring. Jacy then says she is the foundation and glue that holds this division together.
Jacy then says she is not going to let a bootleg Kurt Angle with a ponytail steal her spot. Jacy then says you don’t stand a chance in hell of beating her. Kendal then says Jacy is right. Kendal then says you had a ton of momentum, but who has momentum now. Kendal then says she is a rookie and has a lot to learn, but no one expected her to win the Iron Survivor and she did. Kendal then says she shocked herself. Kendal then says no one expects her to beat Jacy. Kendal then says no one expected Jacy to beat Stephanie. Kendal then says anything can happen in the ring. Kendal then says she showed that she can rise to the occasion. Kendal then says if you want to treat their match as a joke, go ahead. Jacy then says Kendal wins one match and she thinks she can be in the most dominant faction in NXT. Wren then says they have a title now and they will have a second and you will have one. She then says maybe they will make a clean sweep. Lainey then says matching jackets mean nothing. Fallon then says they will leave enough of Kendal. Fallon and Lainey then attack Wren and Kendal. Jacy then joins in. Wren then joins the fight. Lainey then hits a super kick on Wren and she punches and kicks Kendal.
We then head to the back, where Hank and Tank are with Kelly Kincaid. She welcomes them back to NXT. Tank says it was bodacious and Hank says it was great. Hank then says they are ready to do what they do best. Bronco Nima and Lucien Price then show up. Tank says they don’t forget what you did before they went to Japan. They then challenge Bronco and Lucien to a match next week.
We then head to another backstage area, where Blake Monroe tells Ava they need to talk. Ava then asks how did the challenge work and Blake blames Ava for being embarrassed. Blake then says there are no more open challenges. Ava then says that is fine. Blake then demands an apology. Ava then says Blake has to defend the title next week against Thea Hail.
We then see Sol Ruca running up to ZARIA. ZARIA says she wants to support Sol and she wishes her luck on Saturday. Sol then says she would love for ZARIA to be there on Saturday. They then tell each other they are sorry and they hug. They then say they have never had a friend like each other before.
It is then announced that next week Joe Hendry, Dion Lennox, Myles Borne and Leon Slater will have a #1 Contender’s Match and Blake Monroe defends her Women’s North American Title against Thea Hail.
We then see video footage of Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo winning the TNA International Championship.
Je’Von Evans then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Oba Femi follows.
The match starts off with Oba backing Evans into the corner and Oba gives a clean break. Both men then lock up and Oba backs Evans into the corner again. Oba then gives another clean break, but Evans hits a thrust kick and he goes for the springboard cutter and Oba catches Evans. Evans then hits a flying knee for a near fall. Oba then sends Evans into the turnbuckles, but Evans hits some punches. Oba then misses a kick in the corner and Evans hits some punches. Oba then hits a forearm that knocks Evans to the mat. Evans then hits a rebound spinning heel kick for a near fall. Evans is then sent into the turnbuckles by Oba. Oba then hits a punch and an Irish whip. Oba then hits a delayed back breaker.
Oba then stands on Evans’ chest. Oba then cinches in a rear chin lock. Evans then hits some elbows, but Oba holds on. Evans then sends Oba into the turnbuckles and he follows it up with a drop kick that sends Oba to the floor. Evans then goes to the apron and Oba misses a chop. Evans then hits a back heel kick and Oba pulls Evans off the apron and he lands face first on the apron. Evans then hits a springboard Asia Moonsault and Oba catches Evans. Evans then sends Oba into the apron. Oba then chops Evans on the apron.
Oba then hot shots Evans onto the apron. Oba then sends Evans back into the ring. Evans then gets an inside cradle for a near fall. Oba then kicks Evans in the back. Oba then hits more kicks and he hits a forearm and cinches in a front face lock. Oba then hits a suplex and he does some sit ups. Evans then hits some punches. Oba then hits a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Oba then sets up for a power bomb, but Evans collapses to the mat. Oba then has some words for Evans, but Evans hits some punches. Oba then hits a double sledge to the back. Oba then goes for a power bomb, but Evans is able to send him over the top rope and to the floor. Oba then sets up for a power bomb on the floor and Evans hits a rana to counter.
Oba then goes for a spear, but Evans moves out of the way and Oba is sent over the announce desk. The referee then starts his count. Evans then gets back into the ring and Oba beats the count. Evans then hits a springboard frog splash to the back and Evans goes up top and he hits another frog splash for a near fall. Evans then hits some punches. Oba then misses a punches and Evans hits a punch and an enzuigiri. Oba then goes to the floor and Evans hits a plancha on Oba. Evans then sends Oba back into the ring and Oba hits a springboard move into a forearm. Oba then hits a splash on Evans. Evans then hits a German suplex and Oba pops up. Evans then hits a cutter for a near fall. Evans then goes for a rebound move, but Oba hits an uppercut for a near fall.
Oba then tosses Evans, but Evans hits a cutter and a double jump cutter and the referee is pulled from the ring by Ricky Saints. Evans then takes care of Saints and hits a rebound spinning heel kick. Oba then hits a clothesline and an uppercut into the corner. Oba then hits an other uppercut. Oba then hits a power bomb for the win.

After the match, Oba stares at Ricky Saints and walks past him. Saints then snares at Evans as the show comes to a close.
