Tonight’s WWE NXT airing December 16, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The show sees DarkState’s Dion Lennox, Myles Borne, Joe Hendry and TNA X-Division Champion “The Youngest In Charge” Leon Slater battle each other in a WWE NXT Championship #1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match. Plus, WWE NXT Women’s North American Champion “The Glamour” Blake Monroe will defend her title against Thea Hail.

The show opens up with a video package recapping this past weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event special and Je’Von Evans’ match against WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi.
We then see Je’Von Evans waiting for Ricky Saints in the parking lot and NXT General Manager Ava tells him to go inside, but Evans says he is going to wait for Ricky.
Vic Joseph and WWE Hall off Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show as Blake Monroe makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Thea Hail follows.
The match starts off with Thea going for the wrist, but Blake sends her into the turnbuckles. Thea then hits a snap mare and she works on the arm with a splash. Thea then gets a near fall. Thea then cinches in an arm bar. Blake then hits a snap mare and she drop kicks Thea and kicks her in the corner. Blake then hits Irish whips and a spinning side slam for a near fall. Thea then hits a snap mare and a kick to the chest followed by a moonsault for a near fall. Thea then cinches in an arm bar. Thea then hits a wheelbarrow into an arm drag. Thea then drop kicks Blake to the floor. Thea then hits a suicide dive and she sends Blake back into the ring. Thea then hits an exploder. Thea then hits an elbow into the corner, but Blake sends her into the turnbuckles. Blake then goes to the turnbuckles and applies a cross arm breaker in the ropes.
Blake then slams the arm into the mat and stomps on it. Blake then hits a suplex and she gets a near fall. Blake then kicks Thea, but Thea hits some punches. Blake then hits a kick. Blake then cinches in an arm breaker for a near fall. Thea then locks her hands when Blake goes for a cross arm breaker. Thea then rolls over to get a near fall. Blake then hits some kicks and cinches in a cobra clutch. Blake then adds a body scissors. Thea then escapes and gets to her feet. Blake then hits a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Blake then hits some punches on Thea and she returns to the cobra clutch. Blake then hits another short arm clothesline and she returns to the cobra clutch. Thea then hits a head butt and some clotheslines followed by a standing power slam and a somersault senton. Thea then hits a springboard coffin drop for the win.

After the match, we see a replay and there might have been a shoulder up.
We then head to the back, where Shawn Spears tells Izzi Dame that Tatum Paxley probably cried a thousand tears. They then see a gift from Tatum. Izzi says Tatum needs to move on because they have.
We then see Ethan Page walking in the backstage area.
We then get a slow motion look at the finish of the match, where Blake did not kick out of the cover.
Ethan Page then makes his way down to the ring. Ethan grabs a mic and starts off by saying he is absolutely appalled that the wrestling world is more concerned which champions quit when their co-worker retired than a champion being attacked from behind. Ethan then says that same champion with a back so strong he can carry an industry. Ethan then says that back was almost broken, but why doesn’t anyone care. Ethan then asks why was he attacked. Ethan then says jealousy. Ethan then says is it because he is a foundation of NXT. Ethan then says is it because he left every other North American title reign in the back. Ethan then says he does not care and wants answers. Ethan then tells Tony to bring his ass out here.
Channing Lorenzo then makes his way out with Arianna Grace. Lorenzo says he doesn’t know what Tony’s problem is and he doesn’t give a damn. Lorenzo then says he cares about people getting on your level and being a champion of other companies. Lorenzo then says his queen is carrying his International title. Lorenzo then says his girl asked for more gold. Ethan then says this is what he was talking about. He then says zero decorum to interrupt him. Lorenzo then says those tag titles would look so good around their waists.
Moose then makes his way out and he walks up to Channing. He says an NXT talent has a TNA championship. Moose then says the boys in TNA are pissed. Moose then says he is here to do something about it. Moose then tells Channing someone is going to deal with him and this is your lucky day. Moose then says he is laser focused on Ethan Page and that stops Ethan in his tracks. Moose then says he is here to take one of NXT’s most prestigious titles back to TNA with him. Ethan then says there are rules and Moose will have to talk to Ava. Moose then says Ava and Santino have agreed that they will meet on December 30th. Moose then punches Ethan and sends him to the floor.
We then head to the back, where Leon Slater tells Je’Von to join him inside to be at ringside with him for the match. Evans then says he will be there. Leon then says Ricky might not even be here tonight. Evans then says he was a second away from becoming the champion.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and OTM follow.
The match starts off with Tank and Nima and both men lock up. Nima then pushes Tank into the corner. Tank then cinches in a waist lock and Nima hits a back elbow and a shoulder tackle. Tank then cinches in a waist lock and Tank avoids an elbow and sends Nima into the corner. Hank then tags in and he applies a side head lock. Hank then shakes his belly to distract Nima, while Tank applies a side head lock. Nima then hits a shoulder tackle and Price tags in. Price then hits a knee and Nima hits a stomp for a near fall. Price then hits a splash into the corner followed by a slam. Tank then escapes a slam and Hank tags in. Hank then hits a splash and Tank hits a shoulder tackle from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Tank then tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and he touches his belly and hits a double sledge. Tank then works on the arm.
A vehicle then arrives in the parking lot and it is surrounded. Tank then tags in and they work on the arms. Tank then hits an Irish whip and a splash. Hank then tags in and he hits a splash into the corner. Price then hits a hip toss and a chop. Nima then tags in. They then hit a double back elbow and Nima gets a near fall. Tank then tags in and they hit a double splash on Nima and they hip toss Price. Hank and Tank then hit some punches on the turnbuckles. Nima and Price then get them up for a Super Collider and a double sit out power bomb. Hank and Tank then go to the floor. Nima then sends Tank into the apron. Nima then hits a forearm to the back as he hangs over the apron and Nima follows it up with a boot to the head. Price then tags in and he punches Tank, while Nima holds Tank. Price then hits a slam.
Tank then hits some punches and Price hits a punch to stop Tank. Price then sends Tank into the turnbuckles and he slaps Tank. Price then hits more slaps. Tank then slaps Price and Price hits some punches in the corner. Nima then tags in and pulls Price off and he punches Tank. Price then hits some punches and Nima hits a running boot to the head. Nima then stomps on the hand. Nima then hits a forearm and an elbow on Tank. Nima then hits a splash. Tank then hits a boot on Nima and some punches on Price. Tank then hits a DDT to counter a uranage. Hank then tags in and he kicks Nima and punches Price. Hank then hits Snake Eyes and a flying back elbow. Hank then hits an airplane spin into an F5 for a near fall.
Tank then hits a suicide dive on Nima. Hank then goes up top and Price hits a forearm. Price then goes for a superplex and he hits it. Nima and Tank then tag in and Tank hits some forearms and Nima hits some European uppercuts. Tank then hits a back elbow and a kick. Nima is not impressed and Nima hits a back elbow. Tank is not impressed and he does a cartwheel and hits a clothesline for a near fall. Tank then cinches in an arm bar and Hank is sent onto Tank with a uranage onto Tank. Nima and Price then hits a double back breaker for a near fall. Nima then tags in and they get Tank on their shoulders for a double Samoan Drop for a near fall. Tank is then sent to the floor and Price tags in. They then set up for a double choke slam onto the table, but Tank gets to the apron and hits a double cannonball.
Tank then sends Price back into the ring and Tank goes up top and hits a swanton. Hank then tags in and they take their shirts off and sets up for the Malachi Crunch. Nima then clotheslines Tank and Price kicks Hank. Nima then tags in and Tank hits a shoulder tackle on Price. Hank then gets an inside cradle for the win.

We then head back to the parking lot, where the door opens for the vehicle and Ricky Saints emerges.
We then see Ava with Jasper Troy and she talks about Ricky and Je’Von. Jasper Troy says he should have taken them both out. Ava then says there will be a new tournament for the Speed Title. Troy then says whoever steps in the ring with him will be destroyed.
Ricky Saints then makes his way down to the ring. Ricky then grabs a mic and starts off by saying he is not out here to apologize. Ricky then says the day he set foot in this ring, he said he would bring in the Absolute Era. Ricky then says he came to NXT to prove to the world that he is what he says he has been. Ricky then says he is the guy who can carry any brand. Ricky then says that is why he took the biggest gamble on himself. Ricky then says he has no other options. Ricky then says to go forward he had to be obsessed with being number one. Ricky then says everyone was searching for the man to beat Oba Femi. Ricky then says that was him and he did it.
Ricky then says this is where it gets confusing. Ricky then says you enjoyed it for a minute, but you really wanted someone else. Ricky then says you would have rather had Je’Von Evans beat Oba Femi. Ricky then says no one cared about jumping in front of him for his title match. Ricky then says that is why he had to check Je’Von and remind his narrow ass he isn’t the man until he so. Ricky then says he has played it safe before and he has been passed over and stepped on. Ricky then says no more. Ricky then says he will get what he wants when he wants it. Ricky then says if he has to stab you in the back or in the chest, so be it. Ricky then tells Evans to wait his turn. Ricky then says he had to wait for his. Ricky then says are you trying to say that Je’Von is better than him. Ricky then says how many titles as Je’Von won.
Ricky then says when he allows Je’Von to step in the ring with him, he will show that he is a class below him. Ricky then says he is tired of the popularity contests. Ricky then says he is a real star and main eventer. Ricky then says he is not the wrong guy. Ricky then says he is the right guy. Ricky then says there ain’t nobody who will do what it takes to get to the top like him. Ricky then says no one will go to the same lengths as him to stay on the top. Evans then gets past security and he attacks Ricky in the ring. Evans then takes care of the security when they hold him back. Evans then hits a splash, but Ricky hits a punch. Ricky then sends Evans shoulder first into the ring steps. Ricky then punches Evans and hits him with the Roshambo through the announce desk.
We then see Ethan Page storm into Ava’s office to complain about everything that has happened. Chelsea Green then shows up and she yells at Ava and says Ava is as bad as Nick and Adam. Sol then asks Ava how does she deal with this. Ava then tells Chelsea all of the bad things happening to her are not her fault. Ethan then asks about the Moose issue and Ava says Ethan says he is the best. Ava then tells Ethan he will defend his NXT North American Title in two weeks and Chelsea will be defending her Women’s United States Title against Sol Ruca next week.
Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night Fatal Influence follows, with Jacy Jayne taking a seat at the commentary desk.
The match starts off with Fallon and Reid attacking Grey and Wren and they double team Grey and keep Wren on the floor. Reid then hits an uppercut on Grey in the corner. Reid then swings and misses when she goes after Wren on the apron. Grey then gets an inside cradle. Grey then hits a leg sweep and Wren cinches in a chin lock followed by a drop kick from Grey. Reid then punches Wren, but Wren hits a back heel kick after Grey tags in. Grey then hits a German suplex for a near fall. Grey then cinches in a front face lock and gets a Gator Roll for a near fall. Wren then tags in. Grey then hits a snap mare and Wren gets a near fall. Reid then kicks Wren and Fallon tags in. Wren then hits a punch and a butterfly suplex. Reid then goes to the floor and Jacy stops Wren. Reid then misses a forearm, but Fallon hits a Tiger Feint Kick around the ring post.
Fallon then gets a near fall on Wren. Fallon then hits some knees to the head. Fallon then stands on the ankle to keep Wren from moving. Fallon then hyper-extends the leg. Reid then tags in and she kicks Wren and sends her to the mat. Reid then hits an elbow drop and a punch. Reid then goes for a suplex, but Wren gets an inside cradle for a near fall. Reid then hits an Irish whip and a back breaker for a near fall. Reid then hits punches on Wren. Reid then kicks Wren in the ribs. Reid then kicks Wren in the ropes. Fallon then tags in and Reid hits a snap mare. Fallon then hits a forearm for a near fall. Wren then hits a forearm and some punches. Fallon then hits a double back elbow. Fallon then cinches in a top wrist lock. Fallon then hits an Irish whip and a sliding German suplex. Reid then hits a slingshot cutter for a near fall. Reid then gets another near fall.
Reid then hits elbows and she has some words for Grey. Reid then misses an elbow drop when Wren moves. Wren then kicks Reid away, but Fallon tags in and stops Wren from making the tag. Grey then tags in and she hits some back elbows. Grey then hits an overhead belly-to-belly throw on Reid. Grey then hits a slingshot double stomp on Reid, but Reid blocks a flatliner and Grey is sent into the turnbuckles. Fallon then tags in and gets a near fall. Fallon then hits an Irish whip and Grey hits some kicks. Fallon then hits a splash to the back in the corner. Grey then hits a power slam for a near fall. Wren then hits a belly-to-back suplex on Reid. Grey then cinches in a cross arm breaker on Fallon and Jacy gets on the apron. Grey then punches Jacy and Wren hits a cross body off the turnbuckles on Reid and Jacy. Fallon then gets a rollup for a near fall. Grey then cinches in a cross arm breaker and Fallon taps out.

We then see Thea Hail in the back with Kelly Kincaid. Kelly congratulates Thea on her win. Thea then says she has been here since she was 18 and she has always wanted to be a champion. Jordynne Grace then congratulates Thea and Thea tells Grace she has to be positive. Blake Monroe then says she didn’t lose because she kicked out. Grace then asks Blake to let Thea enjoy her victory. Blake then says she wants her rematch. Thea then hugs Grace.
We then see Izzi Dame on the phone with Shawn Spears and they are talking about where is Niko Vance. She says it has to be Tatum. Lola Vice then talks to Izzi about what she did to Tatum and says she would be careful. Kelani Jordan then shows up and she says she is back. She then says she knows what jealousy does to people. Kelani then says she is the best superstar in the locker room and if she wasn’t here, maybe you would be a champion. Lola then says MMA is better than gymnastics.
We then see Shiloh Hill with Skyler Raye. They talk about their matches. Arianna Grace then says the tag title match was there, but Moose screwed it up. Shiloh then asks about a moose in Florida. Lorenzo then asks Hill if he needs to get his tooth fixed. Channing then challenges them to a tag match next week. DarkState then walks past them.
It is then announced that next week Sol Ruca faces Chelsea Green for the Women’s United States Title, Izzi Dame faces Lola Vice and the Men’s Speed Tournament starts.
