WWE NXT Results (4/7/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a video package recapping this past Saturday’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver PLE.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then welcomes us to the show as new WWE NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. The WWE NXT Universe then erupts with “You deserve it” chants. Tony then grabs a mic and starts off by saying a lot of them have been with him since the beginning. Tony then says he looks back on his journey. Tony then says he’s not just a man, he’s The Man. Tony then gloats about becoming the NXT Champion. Tony then says he became the first-ever Grand Slam Champion in history. Tony then says it’s something he always wanted. Tony then says he made mistakes, but it made him the man he’s today.

Tony then says there’s not a man walking that can take the NXT Championship from him. Tony then says not Ethan Page, not Ricky Saints and not Joe Hendry. Joe Hendry’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Hendry then congratulates Tony D’Angelo. Hendry then admits Tony was the better man on one night. Hendry then says if it wasn’t for Ethan Page or Ricky Saints, he wouldn’t be the NXT Champion. Ethan Page then comes out to interrupt both men. Ethan says if anyone deserves a shot at the NXT Championship, it’s him. Ethan then says if he wasn’t so preoccupied with his best friend, he would have been the NXT Champion.

Ricky Saints then comes out and tells Ethan not to blame his shortcomings on him. Tony then tells them to get in line and that the end of the result is going to be the same thing as Saturday, with him defeating them. DarkState then comes out to ignite an all-out brawl with Tony D’Angelo, Ethan Page, Ricky Saints and Joe Hendry. Security then comes out and the entire locker room is out to separate them. Tony then launches himself over the top rope, wiping everybody out and all hell is breaking loose. They then get back in the ring and nothing is solved.

Tony D’Angelo then heads to the back yells at Robert Stone and Stone says he has a show to run. He then says you need to get gear on because you are fighting DarkState in tonight’s main event in an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

Singles Match: Sol Ruca vs. The Culling’s Izzi Dame

The match starts off with both women locking up and Sol blocks a kick. Izzi then misses a stomp and Sol hits an elbow into the corner. Sol then gets a near fall. Sol then decides to hang ten on Izzi’s back. Sol then stomps on the knees on the mat. Sol then applies a side head lock. Izzi then does an ankle pick when Sol goes for a leap frog. Izzi then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Izzi then hits a shoulder in the corner. Izzi then hits an Irish whip and Sol floats over and she kicks Izzi in the back of the leg. She then sends her into the turnbuckles. Izzi then catches Sol in the corner and she goes for a belly-to-back suplex, but Sol lands on her feet and she hits an X-Factor.

Sol then drop kicks Izzi through the ropes. Sol then hits a springboard twisting cross body onto Izzi on the floor. Sol then trips Izzi, but Izzi blocks a kick. Sol then hits a sunset flip for a near fall. Sol then applies a side head lock and Izzi hits a knee to the midsection. Izzi then hits more knees to the midsection. Izzi then gets Sol on her shoulders and drops Sol on the top turnbuckle. Izzi then hits a running knee. Izzi then chokes Sol in the ropes. Izzi then gets Sol on her shoulders and she hot shots Sol. Izzi then hits a kick to Sol. Izzi then hits a knee to the midsection. Sol then gets a rollup for a near fall. Sol then hits a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Izzi then hits an elbow and she gets a near fall. Izzi then applies a rear chin lock and she stretches Sol.

Sol with punches and an uppercut. Sol misses a splash into the corner and Izzi drops Sol on the top turnbuckle. Izzi with a side slam for a near fall. Izzi with a body scissors. Izzi gets a near fall. Sol with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Izzi drops Sol on the top turnbuckle and she goes for the knee but Sol blocks it and sends Sol to the mat. Sol with a springboard flip into a clothesline. Izzi with a forearm and Sol fires back. They continue the exchange. Sol with chops and an elbow o the back of he neck. Sol with a back elbow and a second one.

Sol with an Irish whip and a German suplex. Sol goes to the turnbuckles and she hits a missile drop kick. Sol with a runnng knee and she gets a near fall. Sol goes or a suplex but Izzi blocks it and hits a suplex of her own. Izzi goes to the turnbuckles and Sol with a kick. Sol leaps up to the turnbuckles and Izzi pushes Sol off but she lands on her feet. Izzi with a Code Breaker for a near fall. Izzi goes for a back beake but Sol with a back slide for a near fall. Sol with a spear and Izzi rolls to the floor. Spears gets on the apron and Niko pulls Izzi out of the way of a moonsault off the post. Sol lands on her feet and Zaria with a spear. Izzi with a power bomb for the win.

After the match, Zaria kneels over Sol and she says it is over when she says it is over.

We see Vanity Project in Robert Stone’s office. Stone says he has a meeting with Blake Monroe. They want to talk to Blake as well. Jackson says that Blake is always the North American Champion. They give her a title belt. Blake appreciates the gift. Stone says she cannot claim she is the champion because she lost. Stone says she can have a mixed tag match against Tatum and Shiloh. Blake chooses Jackson as her partner.
