The show opens up with an intro teaser for the New Year’s Evil themed episode.

Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then checks in from the Crow’s Nest balcony, where Vic hypes up the crowd. We then see the arrivals of Fatal Influence, Kendal Grey, Oba Femi and Leon Slater.

Thea Hail is making her way down to the ring for the first match of the night she is attacked by Blake Monroe from behind. Blake then sends Hail into the ring steps and hits Thea with a chair. Thea is then sent through the ringside barrier. Officials have to hold Blake back while they check on Thea. Vic and Booker then wonders if we are going to get the advertised match.

Ricky Saints then makes his way down to the ring while walking past the medics dealing with the Blake Monroe and Thea Hail situation. Ricky starts off by saying he guesses the North American Title Match is going to be put on pause so he wanted to give everyone a very special gift. Ricky then says he is going to kick off 2026. Ricky then says you feel some way about him, but he wanted to be honest. Ricky then says last year he really needed NXT and now NXT needs him. Ricky then says that is why Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams chose free agency. Ricky then says as long as he is here you cannot compete with what you cannot compare to. Ricky then says there is room for only one star and it is him. Ricky then says the sad truth about everyone in the locker room is that he ain’t going nowhere. Ricky then says all of those athletes and independent guys he is going to send you back to where you come from. Ricky then says you might be talented, but you aren’t absolute.

Ricky then says he has been telling you that he is who he says he is. Ricky then says he will keep proving that for 2026. Ricky then says it has become abundantly clear that it is natural born stars versus stars they are trying to create. Ricky then says he is not going to be wrong now then after being right for 20 years. Ricky mentions Leon Slater and Oba Femi. Ricky then says he does not care about either of them. Ricky then says Leon if you win, I will take care of you in due time. Ricky then says Oba we are one and one and that does not sit right in his spirit. Ricky then says he will finish what he started last year. Ricky then says regardless of who wins, NXT will be in his hands as well as the NXT Championship. Ricky then says that is absolute. Ricky then poses.

We then head to the back, where Ava asks Robert Stone to make sure things work tonight. Ava then sends him to find Blake. Ava then tells someone that Izzi and Tatum is happening and to run the video package.

We then see Ava and she mentions what Blake did. Ava then says she tried to help Blake last week. Blake then says when you get the glamour, you get the hell. Blake then demands her title back. Ava then says she is not getting her match and Blake is banned from the building.

Tatum Paxley then makes their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and The Culling follows.

Singles Match: Tatum Paxley vs. The Culling’s Izzi Dame

The match starts off with Izzi hitting the snake eyes and she sends Tatum into the turnbuckles. Tatum then hits a chop and some punches. Izzi then hits a back heel kick. Izzi then hits a biel and a running shoulder into the corner. Izzi then sends Tatum into the turnbuckles and Izzi misses a shoulder. Tatum then cinches in a Boston Crab in the ropes. Tatum then hits a double sledge. Izzi then begs for mercy, but Tatum slaps her and hits her with elbows to the back. Tatum then drives the knee into the mat and follows it up with an enzuigiri. Tatum then goes to the apron and she hits a flip leg drop to the back of the neck. Tatum is then blocked by Izzi and Izzi pulls Tatum into the ropes and follows it up with a forearm to send Tatum to the floor.

Izzi then sends Tatum into the announce desk and apron. Izzi then hits a choke slam onto the apron. Izzi then gets a near fall. Izzi then hits an Irish whip and an elbow in the corner. Izzi then hits an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Izzi then hits more back elbows and kicks in the corner. Izzi then cinches in a bow and arrow around the ring post. Both women then hits clotheslines at the same time and both women are down. Tatum then hits some forearms and a kick. Izzi then hits a back breaker. Izzi then catapults Tatum into the top rope and she gets a near fall. Izzi then cinches in a Liontamer, but Tatum gets to the ropes to force a break. Tatum then hits a back heel kick and Izzi misses a splash into the corner. Izzi then hits a back elbow.

Izzi then goes to the turnbuckles and Tatum hits an enzuigiri. Tatum then hits a thrust kick. Tatum then slaps Izzi and Tatum climbs the turnbuckles. Tatum then hits a Spanish Fly and both women are down. Both women then go face to face and Izzi slaps Tatum. Tatum then slaps back. Both women then continue with the slaps and Tatum hits a jumping face buster. Tatum then hits several clotheslines and a kick. Tatum then hits a German suplex, but Izzi hits a round kick. Izzi then hits some forearms in the ropes. Izzi then hits a sit-out Bomb for a near fall.

Izzi then hits a clothesline and she follows it up with a belly-to-back reverse suplex for a near fall. Izzi then hits a spear and both women go through the ropes and to the floor. Izzi then sends Tatum into the ring steps. Both women then return to the ring. Tatum then hits a Liger kick and she goes up top. Tatum then hits a 450 splash and she goes for Cemetery Drive and hits it for the win.

Elio Lafleur then talks about how he put French wrestling on the map and he is ready to fly. He then says he is coming to NXT and he is here to slash the sky.

We then see Kendal Grey and Jacy Jayne walk down their respective paths to the ring with their respective allies.

We then head to the back, where we see Thea Hail with Jordynne Grace and Ava. Ava mentions Jordynne standing up to Jade Cargill on SmackDown. She then tells Thea she is going to put off the title match and Blake is gone. Thea then says she wants the match and wants Blake back. She then says she wants an open challenge. Jordynne then convinces Ava to allow Thea to have the open challenge.

Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Fatal Influence follows.

WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match: Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne (c) vs. WWE EVOLVE Women’s Champion Kendal Grey

The match starts off with both women locking up and Grey hits an arm drag and transitions into an arm bar. Jacy then hits a head scissors and Grey escapes. Grey then hits a waist lock take down and cinches in a cross arm breaker, but Jacy gets to the ropes to force the break. Jacy then hits a kick and some punches. Jacy then hits an Irish whip, but Grey hits a back elbow and she floats over and goes through the legs and hits a drop kick. Jacy then goes to the floor again and Grey goes up top and hits a moonsault on Jacy, Fallon and Lainey. Grey then goes for a slingshot move back into the ring, but Jacy goes to the floor. Jacy then trips Grey, but Grey cinches in an arm bar. Jacy then drops Grey on the ringside barrier and hits a cannonball, but the barrier does not break.

Both women then return to the ring and Jacy hits a back senton for a near fall. Jacy then hits an Irish whip and a running hip attack into the corner. Jacy then hits a snap mare and a kick to the back. Jacy then hits a back heel kick for a near fall. Jacy then chokes Grey in the ropes and sends Grey into the turnbuckles. Jacy then hits a back elbow and she gets a near fall. Jacy then works on the back. Grey then gets a rollup for a near fall. Grey then hits a sunset flip, but Jacy rolls through and kicks Grey in the chest. Grey then struggles to get back to her feet and Jacy sends Grey into the turnbuckles. Jacy then hits a snap mare and some elbows to the back of the neck. Jacy then cinches in a reverse chin lock.

Jacy then cinches in a rear chin lock and she leans back in a clutch. Grey then gets to her feet and Grey hits some elbows. Jacy then hits a neck breaker. Jacy then hits some knees to the ribs and she gets a near fall. Jacy then gets a cravate. Grey then backs Jacy into the corner, but Jacy sends Grey into the turnbuckles. Grey then hits a kick and a cross body for a near fall. Jacy then misses a boot and both women go for cross bodies and both women go down.

Grey then hits a punch and Jacy punches back. Both women then go back and forth. Jacy then hits a series of kicks. Jacy then grabs Grey by the throat and Grey grabs Jacy and hits a series of back elbows followed by a German suplex. The straps are down and Grey trips Jacy and she hits a slingshot double stomp. Grey then hits a hesitation DDT from the corner and she gets a near fall. Jacy then sends Grey to the apron and Grey hits a kick. Grey then goes up top and Jacy hits the ropes to crotch her. Jacy then hits a hanging swinging neck breaker for a near fall. Jacy then punches Grey. Jacy then misses a cannonball into the corner when Grey moves. Grey then hits two German suplexes, but Jacy hits a knee for a near fall.

Jacy then goes up top, but Grey hits a superplex. Jacy then misses a knee and Grey gets a rollup for a near fall. Jacy then rolls through for a near fall. Grey then cinches in a cross arm breaker, but Fallon gets in the ring and that allows Lainey to pull Grey to the floor. Grey then stops Reid. Fallon and Wren then fight on the apron and Jacy knocks Wren off the apron. Grey then cinches in a cross arm breaker. Jacy then gets a near fall. Fallon then holds on to Jacy to stop a flatliner from Grey and Jacy gets the win.

We then head to the back, where Ava says Ethan Page is the last person she wants to talk to. Ethan says he wants to talk about his title reign and how he beat Moose. Ethan then says he is a record setter. Ethan then says twelve title match victories in 2025. Ava then asks about the other people with 12 wins. Ethan then brings up the live events he had to defend against. Ethan then says he is going to go to the ring. Ava then asks if there is a catch. Ethan then calls in the boys and Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor show up.

Thea Hail then makes her way down to the ring and cuts a promo. Thea says she knows her win was controversial. Thea then says she is devastated that Blake Monroe attacked her because she wanted this match. Thea then says she promised the fans a title match. Thea then says she needs to prove that she deserves this title.

WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Open Challenge Match: Thea Hail (c) vs. The Culling’s Izzi Dame

The match starts off with Tatum holding people off with her chainsaw, but Izzi attacks Thea from behind. Izzi then kicks Thea and sends her into the turnbuckles. Izzi then hits some shoulders. Izzi then hits a running TKO for a near fall. Thea then hits a back elbow and a kick. Izzi then hits some punches and forearms. Izzi then hits a slam. Izzi then gets Thea on her shoulders, but Thea hits a sunset flip and Izzi blocks it. Thea then gets a victory roll for a near fall. Izzi then hits an Oklahoma Stampede for a near fall. Izzi then kicks Thea and Irish whips her into the corner. Izzi then hits a shoulder. Izzi then stands on Thea’s back. Izzi then hits an Irish whip and an elbow into the corner. Izzi then kicks Thea in the corner. Izzi then goes to the turnbuckles for a Code breaker and she gets a near fall. Izzi then chokes Thea in the ropes. Izzi then hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker.

Izzi then hits a knee against the ropes. Izzi then hits a snap mare and she cinches in a rear chin lock. Thea then gets back to her feet and Izzi kicks Thea. Izzi then works on the injured ribs and kicks Thea. Izzi then goes for a slam, but Thea counters with a DDT. Thea then hits a back heel kick and more kicks. Izzi then hits a forearm. Thea then hits running double sledges. Izzi then hits an Irish whip and Thea floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup. Izzi then hits a forearm. Izzi then hits a slam, but she misses an elbow drop. Thea then gets a barrel roll and she sets up for the Warrior Coffin drop, but Izzi gets her knees up. Izzi then hits a boot for a near fall.

Izzi then goes for a bear hug, but Thea goes for the kimura. Izzi then sends Thea into the turnbuckles. Izzi then misses an elbow in the corner and Thea hits an exploder. Izzi then rolls to the floor and Thea hits a suicide dive, but Izzi catches Thea and choke slams her onto the announce desk. The referee then starts his count and Izzi remembers that count outs don’t give her the title. Izzi then sends Thea back into the ring and she goes to the turnbuckles. Thea then stops Izzi. Thea then hits punches and she goes for the kimura on the turnbuckles. Izzi then hits a sit-out power bomb from the turnbuckles for the win.

We then see The Vanity Project show up to hit on Lola Vice and Hank and Tank show up. The Vanity Project then decides to leave. Lola then says she was about to knock them out. They then talk about the North American Title Match. Lola then reminds them she beat Izzi recently, but she has to deal with Kelani Jordan. Kelani Jordan then shows up and she is throwing shoes. People then show up to separate them.

Joe Hendry then enters Ava’s office. He says he is looking for a fight. He then says DarkState ruined his concert and he is sick of them. He then says he wants Dion Lennox next week in a No DQ Match. Ava then says she gets his determination, but if you get a No DQ match, it will be a handicap match. Joe then says if he can find people to make sure it is a one-on-one match, will she make the match. Ava then says she will give him the match if he can do that.

WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page then makes his way down to the ring. Page grabs a mic and starts off by saying it is fitting that they celebrate the new year by honoring the most dominant superstar, him. Ethan then says he is a big game hunter because last week he bagged a Moose. Ethan then says he sent him back to TNA empty handed to prove that he is the greatest North American alive. Ethan then says in a few short moments Oba Femi will defend his title against Leon Slater. Ethan then says they are not the main event because he is. Ethan then says the North American Title is the most prestigious title in all of WWE. Ethan then says that title that Oba Femi holds, it is funny that Oba is their world champion but only defends the title in only one part of North America. Ethan then says he has defended in multiple countries against multiple opponents from multiple companies. Ethan then says he is an international icon.

Jasper Troy then interrupts. Jasper then says Ethan acts like the only champion that matters. Jasper then says he will prove that he is the best big man in NXT and that he is the monster of NXT. Ethan then tells Jasper he doesn’t have to get in the ring. Jasper then says he has run through LFG and he won the Speed title. He then says this isn’t the last title he will hold in 2026. Josh Briggs then comes out and he says no one is on his level. He then says you are not the best big man in NXT. Josh then tells Ethan to stop wasting his time with losers like Myles Borne. He then says Ethan is as delusional as the mouth breathers in the crowd.

Channing Lorenzo then shows up and he says he hates to interrupt things, but he tells Ethan they have unfinished business. He then says after all that has happened in the last year, he is the only person from NXT carrying TNA gold. He then says you want to call yourself an international icon. Channing then says he is as international as it gets because he is the international champion. Channing then says that he is racking up victories in TNA and NXT and they are as big as they get.

Shiloh Hill then interrupts and he says he is glad to see that Channing is in a better mood this time. He then says maybe he ruined his Christmas. He then says after that victory, your father-in-law and Ava had a conversation. He then says it looks like your title reign will be short lived because they will meet next week for the title. Tavion Heights then comes out and he says this is his type of party. He then says he loves everything that was being said but he is going to fix things. He then tells Jasper he will be flying Air Heights next week and he will be the new NXT Speed champion. Ethan then says he cannot believe Jasper is letting Heights talk like this. Heights then misses Page and he punches Troy. Everyone then starts fighting and sending people to the floor. Shiloh then stops Grace from slapping him and they dance. Grace and Channing are then sent to the floor.

We then head to the back, where Joe Hendry is speaking with OTM. Joe asks Bronco Nima and Lucien Price to help him, but they have nothing to worry about. They then say they only care about the titles. Joe then tells them if they get involved with DarkState, they get closer to the tag titles. They then say they will see him next week.

We then see Fatal Influence and they run into Sol Ruca and ZARIA. They talk about how Sol doesn’t have any titles. Sol then says she will be coming for Jacy’s title.

We then see Ethan Page walking in the back and Myles Borne is talking to Tate Wilder. Ethan says he wants to know where Myles was and Myles says he didn’t have anything to do with that situation. Ethan then tells Tate to learn from him while he stays in EVOLVE. He then says Myles wasn’t involved in that segment because it was for champions and challengers. Tate then tells Myles not to let it bother him and Myles says too late.

It is then announced that next week Dion Lennox faces Joe Hendry in a No Disqualification Match,Tavion Heights faces Jasper Troy for the Speed Title, Lola Vice faces Kelani Jordan and Shiloh Hill faces Channing Lorenzo for the TNA International Championship.

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and TNA President Carlos Silva is shown in the crowd. Oba Femi then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night.

Leon then hits a back heel kick and he goes for a springboard move, but Oba catches Leon and hits a back breaker. Oba then sends Leon over the turnbuckles and to the floor.

Oba then sends Leon into the apron. Oba then hits a back drop driver on the apron. Leon then hits a punch and several kicks. Oba then hits an Irish whip, but he runs into a boot. Oba then blocks the kick and he hits a clothesline. Oba then hits a uranage back breaker and he stretches Leon over his knee. Leon then hits some punches and Oba tosses Leon into the turnbuckles. Oba then kicks Leon in the back. Oba then hits some punches and he cinches in a reverse chin lock. Leon then escapes a German suplex and he lands on his feet. Leon then hits a drop kick. Leon then hits a head scissors to send Oba to the floor. Leon then goes to the apron and Oba chops Leon.

Oba then hits some knees and Leon moves and Oba’s knee hits the ring post. Leon then kicks Oba in the leg. Oba then sends Leon to the apron and Leon sends Oba into the ring steps. Leon then goes up top and he hits a cross body for a near fall. Leon then kicks Oba in the back of the leg. Oba then hits a clothesline and he sets up for a choke slam and hits it. Oba then gets a near fall.

Oba then sets up for a running uppercut and he hits it. Oba then hits a second one. Oba’s leg then goes out on the third attempt. Leon then hits a flying leg lariat. Leon then goes for a slam and he hits it. Leon then gets a near fall. Oba then rolls to the apron and Leon goes for a springboard clothesline. Oba then catches Leon and Leon kicks Oba to the floor. Leon then hits a flip dive over the ring post onto Oba. Leon then sends Oba back into the ring and Leon goes up top for the swanton 450, but Oba gets his knee up. Oba then gets a near fall, but Leon gets a crucifix for a near fall. Leon then hits a thrust kick and Oba hits a power bomb for the win.

After the match, the camera focuses on Oba Femi doing his entrance pose and celebrating in the ring. NXT General Manage Ava is then giving a lecture to developmental wrestlers at the back, saying that NXT needs to fill in spots now that a lot of the roster is being called up. Robert Stone then storms the room and tells Ava to check out what Oba just did. We then cut back to the ring and Oba was gone, with the NXT Championship laid in the center of the ring as the show comes to a close.
