Tonight’s WWE NXT airing May 27, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The post-WWE NXT Battleground show sees WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints defend his title against “All Ego” Ethan Page. Plus, WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Dark Angel” Stephanie Vaquer defends her title against Fatal Influence’s Jacy Jayne.

WWE NXT Results (5/27/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a video package recapping this past Sunday’s WWE NXT Battleground. We then get separate shots of Fatal Influence and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer arriving to the WWE Performance Center.

Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Corey Graves then welcomes us to the show.

We then see security guards surrounding the ring for the first match of the night. WWE NXT North American Champion Ricky Saints then make his way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Ethan Page follows. Mike Rome then does his formal in-ring championship match introductions, but Saints and Page jumps the gun and trade hands. Security then separates both men and Rome finishes the introductions while standing at ringside.

WWE NXT North American Championship Match: Ricky Saints (c) vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page

The match officially starts with Page wearing Saints down with a submission hold, but Saints pulls Page out of the ring over the top rope. Page then sends Saints crashing into the ring steps shoulder first, then grabs a chair. Security then keeps him from using the chair, but Saints sends Page’s head bouncing off the ring apron and sends him back inside the ring.

Saints then mocks Page and hits a chop on him, but Page sends Saints into the corner chest first and delivers a couple of strikes on him. Page and Saints then continue delivering some right hands on one another in the crowd. Page then sends Saints crashing into the chair on the outside throat first.

Page then delivers some right hands on Saints back inside the ring and both men deliver some right hands on one another. Saints then hits a DDT on Page, but Page sends Saints crashing into the mat face first and follows it up with the Twisted Grin for the win.

We then head to the back, where Sarah Schreiber is interviewing Fatal Influence. Schreiber asks Jacy Jayne about her thoughts on challenging Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s Title. Jayne then brags about taking initiative by attacking Vaquer on Sunday. Fallon then says she should challenge for the title instead because Jayne lost recently to Vaquer. Jayne then gloats and points out how Vaquer took the Women’s North American Title away from Henley.

We then get a video vignette on Mike Santana to introduce WWE viewers to the TNA star. Mike Santana vs. Tavion Heights is then hyped as their match is coming up next.

We then head to the back, where we see Josh Briggs having a conversation with Yoshiki Inamura. Inamura says he came back for Briggs. Briggs then says he is happy Inamura came back and hands him his leather vest again. Inamura then says they have things to accomplish like becoming the NXT Tag Team Champions and more. Briggs then says they beat The Culling and now they will go on to win the tag titles. Inamura then says yes and Briggs says hell yeah.

Mike Santana then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night through the Performance Center crowd. Corey Graves then compares Santana to past TNA legends from New York like Homicide and Amazing Red. No Quarter Catch Crew then make their way down to the ring next.

Singles Match: TNA’s Mike Santana vs. No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights

The match starts off with both men locking up. They then take turns locking in submission holds on one another, but Santana hits a dropkick on Heights. Santana then hits an uppercut on Heights in the corner and sends him crashing into the mat, then follows it up with a senton. Heights then looks to hit a delayed vertical suplex on Santana, but Santana escapes. Heights then hits Santana with a German suplex, but Santana responds with The Three Amigos and goes for a pin and Heights kicks out.

Heights then sends Santana crashing into the mat and wears him down with a submission hold, but Santana hits a boot on Heights and follows it up with a chop on him. Santana then nails Heights with an enzuigiri and follows it up with a rolling cutter, then goes for a pin but Heights kicks out. Heights then hits a belly-to-belly throw on Santana and follows it up with a slam, but Santana responds with an off the shoulder facebuster on Heights. Santana then hits Heights with his Spin The Block finisher for the win.

After the match, Heights shares a hug with Santana. Santana then raises Heights’ hand as an irritated Dempsey shakes his head.

Vic Joseph then hypes an update on the Tony D’Angelo and Stacks feud coming up next.

We then head to the back, where Wes Lee says he has been part of a group before but can things change. Lee then says not so much as you can only believe in yourself until something real comes along. Tyson DuPont then says they’re not chasing anything and building it brick by brick. Lee then says they’re making their own way.

We then see Andre Chase tell Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon to stop being so aggressive in getting matches. Chase then says they need to know when to seize the moment. They then interpret it as wanting to take more risks, so they talk to Ava and Ava says that they will get a match next week against DarkState. Kale then says there’s four of DarkState and of them and Ava says it’ll be three vs. three with Chase and Chase is not happy.

We then see Tony D’Angelo in the backstage area and Luca Crusifino walks up to him. Tony tells Luca to sit down. Tony then says he thought Stacks clipped him at Battleground. Luca then says on his mom’s eyes Stacks just drove him into the desert and told him he was out. Luca then says he didn’t reach out because he didn’t want to put everyone at risk. Tony then says it doesn’t smell right and Luca said he had to come out at Battleground to set things right. Tony then says he doesn’t know who to trust and Luca says he can trust him.

We then see TNA World Champion Trick Williams walking in the backstage area.

TNA World Champion Trick Williams’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Williams then grabs a mic and says Hollywood Trick has finally arrived. Williams then says he is making history by being the first NXT star to hold the TNA World Championship. Williams then tells the live crowd not to clap for him because most of them were cheering for Joe Hendry last week, then says people like Kurt Angle, Drew McIntyre, Bully Ray and AJ Styles have held the TNA World Championship. Williams then says he’s turning his back on the people because they turned their back on him last week.

Mike Santana’s music then hits and he makes his way out. Williams says Santana made his first mistake by interrupting his champion, but Santana says Williams is not his champion and Williams will not tear down TNA after himself and the rest of the locker room built it up. Santana then says people like Williams make him angry, then calls Williams a pretend fighter and a pretend rapper. Santana then vows to be the one to dethrone Williams as TNA World Champion.

Santino Marella then appears on the big screen and congratulates Williams, then says Williams will be a fighting champion and announces that Williams will be defending the TNA World Championship against Santana next week. Williams then raises the TNA World Championship before Santana extends his hand to Williams. Williams then opts not to shake it and looks to attack Santana, but Santana clotheslines Williams out of the ring. Santana then eyes the TNA World Championship belt and grabs it, then stands tall as he holds it up.

We then see Stephanie Vaquer warming up in the locker room. Ava then shows up and books a tag match between Vaquer and a mystery partner vs. Dalys and Chika Tormenta for World’s Collide. Lola Vice then shows up to volunteer to be Vaquer’s tag partner.

Jaida Parker then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Tatum Paxley follows.

Singles Match: Jaida Parker vs. Tatum Paxley

The match starts off with both women going back and forth. Paxley then hits a backstabber on Parker, but Parker delivers some shoulders on Paxley’s midsection and hits her with her signature Hip Attack. Paxley then sends Parker’s head bouncing off her knee, then nails her with a couple of back elbows and an enzuigiri.

Parker then grabs Paxley’s doll of Gigi Dolin and throws it into the ring. Paxley then spots it and begins crying. Parker then takes advantage and blindsides Paxley with a Hip Attack for the win.

After the match, Thea Hail appears out of nowhere and attacks Parker.

We then get a Jasper Troy introductory vignette, where he talks about how he is going to make an impact. Jasper Troy then places a chain around his neck and is shown walking backstage.

Dante Chen then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Jasper Troy follows.

Singles Match: Jasper Troy vs. Dante Chen

The match starts off with Troy wasting no time in going after Chen. Chen then climbs up the top rope, but Troy pulls him off and hits a back body drop on him. Troy then sends Chen out of the ring, then sends him crashing into the ring apron face first and sends him back inside. Troy then hits a splash on Chen in the corner and follows it up with a backbreaker, but Chen delivers some strikes on Troy and nails him with an enzuigiri. Chen then follows it up with a DDT, but Troy hits Chen with a splash and a spinning Sidewalk Slam for the win.

After the match, Oba Femi appears and tells Troy he has the respect not to attack him from behind like Troy did to him last week. Femi then tells Troy that he hopes he enjoyed his 5 seconds of fame because they’re over for him now.

We then head to the back, where Charlie Dempsey approaches Myles Borne and Tavion Heights and mocks them for failing as singles wrestlers. Borne then takes exception and says he proved himself. Wren then praises Borne. Borne then challenges Dempsey to prove himself. Dempsey then says he’ll do that as long as it’s a round’s match and both men agree.

Ethan Page is waiting inside the ring and he grabs a mic. Page starts off by saying he’s not waiting to celebrate becoming the new North American Champion, but Je’Von Evans’ music hits and he makes his way out. Evans says he can’t think of anyone more undeserving to win the North American Championship, then reveals Ava granted himself and Laredo Kid a shot at Page’s title at Worlds Collide. Kid then introduces himself, but Page says he won’t let Kid and Evans ruin his night. Evans then reveals that there is one more person involved in the North American Championship match at Worlds Collide and Rey Fenix reveals himself to be that person. Fenix then says Page just became North American Champion, but he will lose it next Saturday in the Fatal 4-Way at Worlds Collide.

We then see Ava having a conversation with her assistants Robert Stone and Stevie Turner. Turner and Stone talk about how Sean Legacy deserves a title shot over the three men in the ring due to him picking up a win recently. Ava then says Legacy will be first in line for the title after the World’s Collide match.

We then see separate shots of Stephanie Vaquer and Fatal Influence in the backstage area. Vaquer is then confronted by Lash Legend as Vaquer is heading to the ring.

We then see Tatum Paxley crying backstage and Sol Ruca and ZARIA walks up to her. ZARIA says a friend is right around the corner and Sol tells her to feel her feelings and if she wants to talk to anyone they are available. The Culling is then shown watching in the background.

Fatal Influence then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Stephanie Vaquer follows, but Jacy Jayne jumps Vaquer during her entrance and the referee rings the bell to start the match.

The match starts off with both women wasting no time in going after each other. Jacy then attacks Vaquer, but Vaquer rolls up Jacy for a two count. Jayne then escapes Booker T’s favorite wrestling hold. Vaquer then goes for a meteora on Jayne, but Chika Tormenta and Dalys appear on the apron. Jayne then tries to use the distraction and gets a two count off a rollup. Vaquer then hits Jayne with a 619 and gets a near fall.

Jayne then counters a Sunset Flip into a PK. Vaquer then comes back with a slingshot axe handle. Jayne then comes back with a Slingblade. Vaquer then comes right back with two Tilt a Whirl Backbreakers. Jayne then gets a moment of respite after a Facebuster to the mat. Vaquer then hits Jayne with Sole Food. Vaquer then paint-brushes Jayne with boots and follows it up with a meteora for a two count.

Jayne then surprises Vaquer with a knee strike for a near fall. Vaquer then hits Jayne with her signature Dragon Screw in the corner. Jayne then trips Vaquer on the apron. Vaquer then puts Jayne into a Electric Chair and hits her with Snake Eyes on the apron. Vaquer then sends Jayne into the steel steps. Vaquer then hits Jayne with an Implant Buster into a Codebreaker. Henley then gets on the apron, but is accidentally knocked off by Jayne.

Nyx then tries to keep the peace between Henley and Jayne. Henley and Jayne then shoves Nyx aside. Vaquer then hits Jayne and Henley with a top rope dive. Nyx then abandons Henley and Jayne to the back. Vaquer then hits Jayne with a back suplex and follows it up with Booker T’s favorite wrestling move. Henley then hits a 619 to break a rope hung cross armbreaker while Nyx distracts the referee. Jayne then hits Vaquer with a running knee for the win.

After the match, Fatal Influence celebrates together with the title and stands tall and the show comes to a close.
