Tonight’s WWE NXT airing July 8, 2025, promises an action-packed night live from the Capitol Wrestling Center (WWE Performance Center) in Orlando, Florida. The WWE NXT Great American Bash go-home show sees TNA’s Joe Hendry and Mike Santana take on The High Ryze (Tyriek Igwe and Tyson DuPont) in a Tag Team Match. Plus, WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) will defend their titles against The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance).

The show kicks off at 8:00 PM ET on the CW and is available for international fans on streaming platforms like Netflix. WWE NXT Results (7/8/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with separate shots of Hank and Tank, Joe Hendry, Mike Santana, NXT General Manager Ava and her Assistants being shown.

Vic Joseph, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and Corey Graves then welcomes us to the show and we Ricky Saints makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night. The Vanity Project then make their way down to the ring.

Gauntlet Match: Ricky Saints vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes and WWE EVOLVE Champion Jackson Drake)

The match starts off with Ricky Saints and Brad Baylor. Saints beats up Baylor in the corners. Saints then hits Baylor with a Missile Dropkick and a backbreaker. Baylor then tries to beg Page for help. Baylor then manages to hit Saints with an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Baylor then hits Saints with strikes and a Underhook Final Cut for a near fall. Saints then dodges a knee drop. Saint then rallies with right hands and clotheslines. Saints then hits a backdrop on Baylor and follows it up with a running elbow. Saints then hits Baylor with a Tornado DDT for the win to move on to his next opponent in the match.

Smokes is next and he gets Saints up on his shoulders. Saints then escapes, but Smokes sends him crashing into the mat and goes for a pin. Saints then kicks out, but Smokes wears him down with a submission hold. Saints then responds with a jawbreaker and a suplex on Smokes, then suplexes him out of the ring and onto the floor over the top rope. Saints then sends Smokes back inside, but Jackson Drake sends Saints crashing into the barricade while the referee has his back turned checking on Smokes in the ring.

Smokes then jams his boot into Saints in the corner, then delivers some elbows on the back of his neck. Saints then sends Smokes crashing into the mat spine first and hits a belly-to-belly throw on him, then sends him crashing into the mat spine first and goes for a pin. Smokes then kicks out and rolls up Saints, but Saints kicks out. Saints then hits an Atomic Drop on Smokes and pins him for the win to move on to the next opponent.

Jackson Drake is the final man in the match and Drake delivers some boots on Saints’ midsection in the corner. Drake then follows it up with a kick on Saints’ spine and goes for a pin, but Saints kicks out. Drake then hits a gutbuster on Saints and pins him, but Saints kicks out and sends Drake crashing into the mat. Drake then nails Saints with an enzuigiri and looks to hit a senton on him, but Saints moves out of the way and Drake is sent crashing into the mat. Drake then nails Saints with a kick and looks to hit a Swanton Bomb off the top rope, but Saints gets his knees up and hits the Roshambo on him for the win.

After the match, Saints tells Page that he has chosen to face him in a Falls Count Anywhere Match for his North American Championship at the Great American Bash.

We then see Sol Ruca and ZARIA hyping each other up for their matches this upcoming weekend at the Great American Bash and Evolution. Lainey Reid then shows up to talk trash. Kelani Jordan then talks about Reid getting all up in peoples business for no reason. Reid then says she’s the future of the division. Jordan then says to show her.

Vic Joseph then hypes Tavion Heights vs. Charlie Dempsey coming up next.

We then see video footage from earlier today of Jordynne Grace working out at the PC when Blake Monroe cals her. Grace then answers and asks where Blake was and Blake says she assumes Grace is in the gym in a black sports bra. Blake then says they are having a glamour workout with nails, massage and more. Grace then says she’ll come if Blake stops talking. Blake then says Grace is so funny and will see her soon. Grace then gets in the SUV and arrives somewhere where she gets out and says, “Eww… you’ve got to be kidding me.”

Tavion Heights and Charlie Dempsey then made their way down to the ring together for the next match of the night.

Singles Match (If Heights Wins, He Is Free From NQCC): Tavion Heights vs. Charlie Dempsey

The match starts off with both men locking up. Dempsey then sends Heights crashing out of the ring with an uppercut, but Heights returns the favor and sends Dempsey crashing onto the floor. Both men then get back inside the ring and Heights sends Dempsey crashing into the mat. Heights then tackles Dempsey and delivers some right and left hands on him, but both men nail one another on the outside of the ring. Heights then delivers some right hands on Dempsey and sends him crashing into the mat back inside the ring before hitting a suplex on him and going for a pin.

Dempsey then kicks out and sends both himself and Heights crashing onto the floor, but both men return to the ring and Dempsey hits a knee on Heights’ midsection. Heights then uses the top rope to send Dempsey crashing into the mat, but both men go tumbling back out of the ring and a frustrated Dempsey delivers some stomps on Heights. He then cinches in a Half Boston Crab on Heights and continues to beat down Heights, but Sinclair throws in the white towel on Heights’ behalf to stop the match.

We then see Je’von Evans psyching up Hank & Tank backstage. Jasper Troy then shows up and tosses Evans into the garage door to leave him laying.

Mike Santana and Joe Hendry then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The High Ryze follows.

Tag Team Match: TNA’s Joe Hendry and Mike Santana vs. The High Ryze (Tyriek Igwe and Tyson DuPont)

The match starts off with Joe Hendry and Tyriek Igwe and both men lock up. DuPont and Santana then tag in and High Ryze double teams on Santana. Santana then takes down Igwe and Hendry hits a Fallaway Slam on DuPont. Igwe then tags in and Santana wears him down, then tags in Hendry. Hendry then nails Igwe and looks to hit a delayed vertical suplex on him, but Igwe blocks Hendry. Lee then distracts the referee, allowing for Igwe and DuPont to double team on Hendry. DuPont then tags back in and pins Hendry, but Hendry kicks out and DuPont hits a stomp on him. He then delivers some right hands on him, then sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first and tags in Igwe. Igwe then gets Hendry up on his shoulders, but Hendry escapes and Igwe sends him crashing into the top turnbuckle face first.

Hendry then hits a DDT on Igwe, but DuPont tags back in and sends Santana crashing off the apron. He then runs over Hendry with a shoulder tackle, but Hendry pins DuPont. DuPont then kicks out, but Igwe tags back in and hits a senton on Hendry. DuPont then follows it up with a Frog Splash and Igwe hits a moonsault on Hendry. He then goes for a pin, but Hendry kicks out.

DuPont then cinches in a front face lock on Hendry, but Hendry hangs on and sends Igwe crashing into the mat with a vertical suplex. Santana and DuPont then tag in and Santana nails DuPont with a clothesline. He then sends Igwe crashing into the mat face first and does the same to DuPont, but Trick Williams appears and sends Hendry crashing into the ring steps shoulder first on the outside. DuPont then looks to hit a splash on Santana in the corner, but Santana sees him coming and hits his Spin The Block finisher on him for the win.

After the match, Williams blindsides Hendry with a leg lariat. Hendry then nails him, but Lee nails Hendry. Lee then beats down Santana and DuPont and Igwe hold Hendry in place for Williams to hit the Trick Shot on him.

Highlights are then shown of Yoshiki Inamura defeating Jasper Troy to become #1 contender to the NXT Championship. The Great Muta is then shown telling Inamura to go get that belt. Naomichi Marufuji, Ulka Sasaki, WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY and Kaito Kiyomiya all are then saying “Gambatte” (You can do it) one way or another.

Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura are then shown walking backstage.

DarkState is then cutting a promo in a smokey room. Dion Lennox talks about how they left Matt Cardona laying last week on iMPACT. Saquon Shugars then says they’ll be doing more in TNA down the road. Cutler James then says they’ll be looking at the tag title match later. Dion then yells about how you won’t see DarkState coming.

Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs then make their way down to the ring and WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi follows. Inamura starts off by saying Femi wanted to see what he was made of, then reminds Femi that he beat Jasper Troy to become the Number One Contender. He then says Femi will be his greatest challenge yet, but he will fight with honor and become the new NXT Champion. Femi then says Inamura may have the support of his fans, family and friends. He then says they can be the ones to pick up the pieces of Inamura when he fights with honor, then advises Inamura to ask if he can take a loss with honor and says Inamura will come up short against him.

Briggs then grabs Inamura’s microphone and stands up for Inamura. He then tells Femi that Inamura will beat him, then says while Inamura is a man with honor, he isn’t because he is a man of mayhem. Femi then tells Inamura to tell Briggs to get out of his face, but Briggs begins brawling with Femi. Femi then clotheslines Briggs out of the ring, but Inamura hits a bodyslam on Femi. Officials then run down to the ring to keep the two men apart.

We then return to the salon and Grace says “Yeah, no.” Grace then says she needs to focus so she is taking an Uber back. Blake then calls Grace a “Muscle Muffin” and says Grace works out all the time, so they need to do this. Grace then says “Fine.” We then see Blake putting Grace in a robe, which she removes the sleeves off. They then get their nails done and go for a massage, but Grace asks if the masseuse is going to start yet. Blake then tells Grace that the two things can co-exist. Grace then gets makeup and doesn’t hate it. Grace then says this isn’t her bag and they talk about how they need to get the title off Jacy. Grace then says she does kind of like this. They then say first they beat Fatal Influence at the Bash, then Grace beats Jacy at Evolution and thanks Blake for the day.

Kelani Jordan then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Lainey Reid follows.

Singles Match: Kelani Jordan vs. Lainey Reid

The match starts off with Jordan tripping Reid. Both women then continue going back and forth, but Jordan hits a Monkey Flip on Reid and dropkicks her through the middle rope. Reid then hits a Dragon Screw on Jordan on the ring apron and sends her leg bouncing off it repeatedly, then follows it up with a spine buster and goes for a pin. Jordan then kicks out, but Reid cinches in a Half Boston Crab on her.

Reid then cinches in a submission on Jordan, but Jordan sends Reid crashing into the bottom turnbuckle to break the hold. Jordan then sends Reid crashing into the mat with a Fireman’s Carry, but Reid nails Jordan with an enzuigiri and joins her on the top rope. Jordan then responds with a moonsault on Reid for the win.

After the match, Thea Hail blindsides Reid and brawls with her to the back.

We then see a medic checking on Je’von Evans in the medical room. Jasper Troy then shows up and attacks Evans even more. Officials then drag Troy away.

We then see Tony D’Angelo walking into a warehouse where a table is set up. Luca Crusifino then shows up as does Stacks. They nearly fight, but Rizzo is there. She then tells them all to sit down. She then says she wouldn’t have stayed in hiding forever and she called it and as she was in the safe house she saw them lose focus on everything the Family has done. She then says Stacks and Tony created a legacy bringing in Luca and her, taking people to the bridge, eating at the restaurant and they destroyed it all. Tony then says to take it easy and she points out how she tried to get Tony to talk things out. Luca then asks if she thought they would solve this and she said yes, but she sees that’s impossible. She then points out the divisions between them and says once trust is broken, doubt creeps in and all is lost. She then says she did what she had to do and talked to Ava and it will be a Triple Threat Match next week. She then says this is WWE and she can’t say their pasts won’t cross again but this is the final battle.

Stacks then says he doesn’t trust them and that this is a set-up. Tony then says the rat thinks this is a set-up and Luca agrees. Tony then says he thinks that Luca is on Stacks’ side. Stacks then says he’s winning next week and Tony says Stacks and Luca should share the cup. Luca then says he’s getting away from them to do anything in NXT. Tony then says this is over. They all then stand up and Stacks tells Tony not to let him catch him alone. Luca then says, “The one time, I try to do something by myself.”

The commentators then try to check in, but Jasper Troy is in the ring demanding that Ava book Jasper Troy vs. Je’von Evans at the Great American Bash. Je’von Evans then storms to the ring, but crumples when Troy hits him in the injured ribs. Security then tries to keep both men apart. Evans then recovers and hits Troy and a bunch of security with a dive. Security then drags Evans to the back.

We then see The Culling in their dark room and Tatum walks in. Shawn then says they’re glad to have her and Izzi says their home is her home. Niko then says they get the titles tonight, he took down Hank & Tank once and will do it again. He then gets worked up about the assumption he attacked them and Shawn says to calm down. Shawn then says they will reap the benefit tonight. Izzi then says they’ll win the Tag Titles and she will win the Women’s North American Title at GAB. Tatum then says all her new friends will have gold.

The Culling then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. Hank & Tank then make their way down to the ring and quickly brawls with Spears and Vance.

WWE NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) (c) vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)

The match starts off with all four men brawling with one another. Walker then sends Spears into the corner as Vance and Ledger brawl on the outside. Walker then nails Vance, then tags in Ledger. Spears then tags in on his side and wears down Ledger, then tags in Vance. Vance then hits a right hand on Ledger’s head, then tags in Walker. Walker then hits a splash on Vance and nails a Bulldog on him, then becomes distracted by Dame and Paxley on the outside. This then opens the door for Vance to send Walker crashing over the announce desk with a shoulder pounce.

Spears then tags in, but Vance distracts the referee as Walker rolls up Spears. The referee then begins the count late and Spears kicks out. Ledger then tags back in and goes after Spears, but Spears nails Ledger with a couple of superkicks. Vance then tags in and hits a headbutt on Ledger off the top rope, then goes for a pin but Walker breaks the fall.

Sol Ruca then attacks Izzi Dame from behind and brawls with her to the back as ZARIA carries Paxley behind them. Walker and Ledger then deliver some right hands on Spears and Vance. Ledger then runs over Vance with a shoulder tackle and looks to hit a double splash on him, but Spears pushes Vance out of the way and takes the maneuver. Walker and Ledger then clothesline Vance out of the ring and double team on Spears for the win.

The commentators then run through the Great American Bash card and Jasper Troy vs. Je’Von Evans is now official for the show.

We then see NXT General Manager Ava walking in the backstage area.

We then see Kale Dixon in the backstage area saying he is nervous and has high blood pressure. He then tells Andre Chase that he was freaking out and can’t wrestle today. Chase then agrees and tells Kale and Uriah that they will figure something out.

NXT General Manager Ava then makes her way down to the ring and grabs a microphone. Ava starts off by recalling being in high school when the first Evolution happened and says she remembers thinking how amazing it was that something so monumental was happening. She then ponders how far the women who took part in the first Premium Live Event have come, then says she’s proud that NXT will be all over Evolution as the first ever female General Manager of NXT. Ava then says six women from NXT will represent the brand in the Evolution Battle Royal: Jaida Parker, Lola Vice, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, and Tatum Paxley. Ava then says the six women will prove that NXT always steps up and shows out.

Fatal Influence’s music then hits and the trio make their way out. Jacy Jayne then vents her frustrations with Ava not choosing to focus on her NXT Women’s Championship match against Jordynne Grace. Grace then makes her way to the ring and says Evolution is a groundbreaking event. She then says when she takes the NXT Women’s Championship from Jayne, she will steer the NXT women’s division into the future.

Lash Legend then makes her way out and says Jayne and Grace can keep fighting over the NXT Women’s Championship because she will be at the top in Evolution when she wins the Battle Royal. Stephanie Vaquer then makes her way out and says it’s amazing to be back in NXT before echoing Legend’s sentiments. Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, Ivy Nile, Jaida Parker, Zelina Vega, Candice LeRae and Giulia then follow before a major brawl breaks out between everyone and the show comes to a close.
