The wait for @WWERollins continues... #RAW pic.twitter.com/l4ZsBI9OlV

We’re back from the break and Ziggler and McIntyre return to Kurt Angle’s office. He asks if everything is OK with the contract. They say it’s no surprise that Angle plays favourites, and they point out that it says in the contract that Seth is entitled to having someone in his corner. Angle says yes, that’s because Drew will be in Dolph’s corner. If they want he could take that part out but that means Drew won’t be in Dolph’s corner. He wouldn’t want to play favourites after all. Ziggler says it’s fine and makes a snide remark about Rollins not being here yet.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring. Roman gets more cheers than boos and he stands in the ring and soaks it in. He says “leave this place better than I found it”, that was something he tells himself every day. The truth is, he’s never going to be able to do that while Brock Lesnar is a part of WWE, and that means it’s time for Lesnar to go. He says he’s sick of talking, hearing and looking at Brock Lesnar. He says it ends this Sunday and the crowd cheer. He says he’s taking back his Universal Championship and he’s sending Brock so far back to the UFC, he’ll find his head in Dana White’s ass.
“Ladies and Gentlemen!” Paul Heyman comes out and introduces himself. He says “it’s a new day, yes it is!” Heyman says if he’s going to steal a line from anyone on SmackDown, he would steal from The Uso’s because they are the future of the tag team division. And speaking of the future, he’s got his eyes on the number one contender. Roman says this should be good because last week Paul was able to cry on cue but here he is. He invites Heyman into the ring.
This time next week, could @HeymanHustle be the advocate for the reigning, defending, undisputed #UniversalChampion @WWERomanReigns?! #RAW #SummerSlam pic.twitter.com/gQmsLNiBuH

Heyman says this is Reigns’ time to start making history. But why wait to Sunday? Roman could make history tonight. He reminds us of the interview with Renee, in which he said Roman can’t beat Lesnar, “unless”. And that is, unless he tells Roman every one of Brock’s dirty secrets. Heyman says if Roman has Heyman in his corner this Sunday, he can guarantee he will walk-out with the Universal Championship. Paul extends his hand to Roman and the fans go wild but Roman says no. Roman says he already knows how to beat Lesnar, he did-so in Saudi Arabia. And it would have ended even sooner if Heyman wasn’t there. Heyman says he accepts blame for that. But he’s not here to talk about the past. He says he is a visionary, he sees the future, and he sees Roman and him standing here next Monday with the Universal Championship. He does his usual introduction but with Roman’s name at the end, then extends his hand again. Roman looks to the crowd, who definitely want it to happen, but he’s uninterested. Roman says Heyman can try but it’s not good enough. He says he was groomed for this position from a young age. He says he was taught to look-out for sharks, especially desperate ones. And Heyman is drowning. He wishes Heyman good luck in his future endeavours.
Heyman turns to leave but doesn’t. He says he is drowning. Drowning in knowledge that he learned from Roman’s uncle and father. He says Roman’s father taught him something as they drove down the road together and it’s not something you’ll ever learn in school. He tells Roman something in Samoan, then hands him a piece of paper and asks him to look over it. He says for Reigns to read over it and give him an answer this Sunday at SummerSlam. Reigns reads the paper, but suddenly Heyman sprays him in the face with a bottle of something. He sprays Roman until the bottle is empty and Roman can’t see in the corner. And here comes LESNAR!
THE BEAST is HERE, and he wants a PIECE of @WWERomanReigns!#RAW #SummerSlam @BrockLesnar pic.twitter.com/61aFftixt2

Brock makes his way down to the ring and attacks the weakened Reigns. He knee’s Roman repeatedly until Roman collapses. Brock jumps onto Roman and applies a guillotine until Roman passes out. Lesnar gets up and smiles. He leaves the ring and takes the belt back from Heyman. The announcers say the entire Heyman/Lesnar split was a ruse. Lesnar is about to leave when he hands Heyman the belt, walks back to the ring and hits the F5 to Roman! Brock stands over Roman as the fans chant “One More Time”.
*Commercial Break*
After the break, replays are shown of what just happened with Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, and Brock Lesnar.
We head down to ringside for a six-man tag match. There’s been a few too many tag matches tonight.
Titus Worldwide & Bobby Roode vs. The Authors of Pain & Mojo Rawley
Rezar and Crews start the match, and Rezar quickly establishes dominance over Apollo. While Rezar has Crews in a neck vice, they show another split-screen SummerSlam commercial.
Crews takes Rezar down with enzuigiris. Rawley tags in and knocks Titus O’Neil off the apron. Bobby Roode tags in and knocks Rawley back. Roode hits a diving clothesline off the top rope. Rawley reverses a whip to the corner, but Roode come back with a blockbuster. Rezar runs in, but O’Neil clotheslines him out of the ring. Rawley knocks O’Neil out of the ring. Roode then gives Rawley a Glorious DDT for the win.
Winners: Titus Worldwide & Bobby Roode

We go to the trainer’s room, where medical personnel are trying to clear the pepper spray from Roman Reigns’ eyes. Nothing happens.
Still to come, the contract signing for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam. WWE will celebrate the life of Jim Neidhart, next.

We get a fantastic tribute video for Jim Neidhart, for which the crowd give a standing ovation.

The announcers talk about SummerSlam, mentioning that The B-Team will face The Revival for the Raw Tag Team Championships on the Kick-Off Show, which begins at 5 PM. They then run down the entire card.
We see replays of the opening to Raw, in which Alexa Bliss brought security to deal with Ronda Rousey.
Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring, accompanied by Bayley. She’ll face a member of the Riott Squad, next!
*Commercial Break*
We get a backstage selfie promo from The Riott Squad before they make their entrance.
Sasha Banks W/Bayley Vs. Ruby Riott W/Liv Morgan & Sarah logan
They lock up, and Banks takes the arm and tries to maim Ruby. Riott lands some forearms and clubs Sasha down. Riott hits the ropes, but Banks catches her with a hip toss. The Riott Squad grabs at Bank’s feet as she runs off of the ropes, but it doesn’t stop her. She rolls up Riott for a two count. Banks applies an arm bar and keeps the leader of the goon squad grounded. Riott fights up and sends her into the ropes. Riott gets a roll-up for a two count. Banks goes for the Bank Statement, but Riott rolls out of the ring to regroup.
Riott avoids a baseball slide, but Banks comes back with a kick to the face. Riott pulls Banks into the steel steps. Banks gets her hand caught in one of the hand holes in the steps, and Riott kicks the steps. Riott gets Banks in the ring and continues to attack the injured hand as we take to commercial.

We come back from the break to see Riott still working on the injured hand of Banks. sasha eventually comes back with an arm drag, then elbows her in the face and hits a suicide dive on Sarah Logan. Banks knees Riott in the face, but Liv Morgan pulls her off the apron. Bayley then wipes out Morgan with a clothesline. Riott capitalizes on all the distractions by rolling Banks up for the win!
Winner: Ruby Riott
Great to see Ruby back and even better to see her winning!
Photos are shown of Seth Rollins in Shanghai, China. Rollins has been delayed by travel and hasn’t arrived at RAW yet. Strange angle they’re taking with this one.
Kurt Angle is backstage with Baron Corbin. A stagehand says there is no sign of Seth Rollins. Corbin says one of RAW’s biggest matches at SummerSlam might not happen because Angle waited until the last minute. Corbin says Angle can’t wait any longer. Angle angrily walks off. The contract signing for the WWE Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam is next.
UP NEXT: Will the #ICTitle match at #SummerSlam between @HEELZiggler and @WWERollins even happen?! We're about to find out. #RAW pic.twitter.com/sZoOpbcFVA
— WWE (@WWE) August 14, 2018
*Commercial Break*
We return to Raw to see Kurt Angle in the ring. Before he begins, he wants to address what happened with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. He calls it a heinous attack but says he won’t suspend Lesnar or anything because he simply wants Roman to kick his ass at SummerSlam and bring the title back to Raw where it belongs. He says Lesnar is the worst WWE Champion of all-time.
Ziggler and McIntyre interrupt Angle. They make their way to the ring and Dolph says to cut this charade, we all know Rollins isn’t here. McIntyre says Angle was never going to suspend Lesnar because he can’t afford to lose two Championship matches at SummerSlam. Ziggler says to let him know either way because, if not, he can go and do a stand-up set. Angle then introduces Seth but the man doesn’t appear. He tries again but no Seth. McIntyre makes fun of Seth and Ziggler says Seth was great but he quit because he realised he couldn’t face them again. McIntyre says they respect Rollins but their partnership as founded to create change. He says the guys in the back seem to think that when you make it to Raw, that’s it. Whereas Rollins fought every single week and for that, they respect him. Ziggler says Seth made a classic mistake: he pushed himself too hard for that fans.
Does @HEELZiggler have to defend the #ICTitle this Sunday or not? That's the question. #RAW #SummerSlam pic.twitter.com/XgAeAzK0w5
— WWE (@WWE) August 14, 2018
Ziggler says these fickle fans love to see Rollins burn it down each week. Just like a few years ago they loved to see him steal the show. And now they’ve turned on Seth as well, just like they will with the next guy. Ziggler says he got sick of it and so he found someone who truly has his back. And not just a guy to accompany him down here, ride his coattails and get a paycheck. He calls McIntyre a psychopath and says they will take the whole thing over. He says he is done trying to steal the show, so let’s just get through the formalities and call this match a Seth Rollins forfeit. Angle hands Dolph the contract and he signs it as the fans chant “Burn It Down”!
Seth finally comes out. He apologises to the fans for making them listen to Dolph’s therapy time. He then says he wasn’t actually running late, he’s been here for a little while. He says he has indeed had some travel issues, they just weren’t his issues. He says the reason he waited to come out here was because he wanted to make sure Dolph would sign the contract. He says he put in that little part about having someone in his corner for a specific reason. If Dolph can have a psycho in his corner, then surely he can have a lunatic in his…
HE'S BAAAAAAAAAAAACK!@WWERollins is going to have a LUNATIC in his corner at #SummerSlam...in the form of @TheDeanAmbrose! #RAW pic.twitter.com/sFsRQcFI83

Rollins and Ambrose storm the ring. All four men brawl and Ambrose clears the ring of Ziggler. McIntyre is beating Seth in the corner but Ambrose attacks him too. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on McIntyre and he rolls from the ring. The fans are going wild as Ambrose and Rollins look pumped. Ambrose hands Seth the contract, which he signs. Seth puts his fist out and Ambrose follows suit. The brothers are back.
That’s it for this week’s Raw. Let us know what you thought of the show and be sure to come back tomorrow for SmackDown Live and more! Until next time, safe travels!
