Ronda is all smiles until she gets to the ring, where she looks almost sad. The fans chant for her name but Ronda doesn’t look happy. She tells us that Natalya’s father, Jim Neidhart passed away earlier today. She says any loss is hard but our fathers are our pillars in a hostile world. She says our fathers are our reassurance that everything will be OK. And when our fathers pass away, we realise that they have been raising us to be the pillars of our family. She says “Stay Strong Natalya Neidhart. We all love you.” The fans chant “Nattie.” Ronda says Natalya was the first to welcome her to WWE and she will defend her to the death. She says Alexa Bliss cheated against Natalya, more than once. And this Sunday, she will defeat Alexa to become the new Women’s Champion! The fans cheer loud for that. Ronda says she will do that on Sunday but she wants to introduce us to the woman who will beat Alexa tonight… Ember Moon!
Ember makes her way to the ring and hugs Ronda. Alexa Bliss comes out, with Alicia Fox by her side. Alexa gestures to Ember and says Ronda should make all the friends she can because her good times are about to come to an end. Alexa motions to the crowd and says they’re all idiots that Ronda sucks-up to. Alexa says the fans think their match at SummerSlam is a foregone conclusion but “news-flash”, Ronda has had three matches, while she’s a five-time Women’s Champion. Some fans cheered that. Alexa gets on a roll and insults Ronda, and makes fun of her angry face. She goes on to say that it’s unfair how Roman Reigns gets kicked from the building in order to protect the Champion but Ronda breaks peoples arms and Kurt Angle doesn’t try to stop her from sitting at ringside. Bliss says she went to Constable Baron Corbin, who told her to hire some personal security. Bliss clicks her fingers and out comes four burly guys in black. Alexa tells Ronda not to even make a move because the security team are highly trained and won’t hesitate to stop her.
Alexa and Foxy make their way down to the ring. The security get into the ring and stand between Rousey and Bliss. Rousey turns to leave the ring and Bliss attacks Moon from behind, knocking Rousey from the apron to the floor. Ronda gets up, takes off her jacket and makes a bee-line for Bliss. The four guards stop Ronda from reaching Bliss… until Ronda Judo throws one, head-kicks another, punches and Judo throws the third, and then the fourth guy just holds his hands up and runs off. Bliss and Fox then leave the ring and stand by the ramp. Bliss and Moon will take place, after the break!

Alexa Bliss Vs. Ember Moon
We return and the match has just gotten underway. Alexa hides behind the referee, then connects with a cheap kick to Moon. Ember manages to take Alexa to the mat but Bliss reverses the wrist-lock with a scissors headlock. Ember escapes and hits Alexa with two arm-drags, the grounds the Champion with an armlock. We cut to a split-screen commercial for SummerSlam, meanwhile Bliss has Moon in a headlock.
Moon shoots Alexa to the ropes and hits her with a shoulder tackle. She then catches Alexa with a headscissors takedown from the mat. Ember catches Bliss with a sliding STO for a near-fall. Bliss rolls from the ring to regroup and gets distracted by Ronda, leading to Ember Moon hitting her with a hard baseball slide. Ember brings Moon back into the ring and applies a chinlock. Bliss escapes the headlock and hits a dropkick to Moon’s stomach. Moon responds with a step-up Enziguiri and Bliss rolls from the ring.

We return from commercial to see Bliss in control. She grounds Moon with a chinlock until Ember fights to her feet and breaks the hold with a jawbreaker. No use though as Alexa immediately floors her with a clothesline, then re-applies the chinlock. Once again Moon fights out and almost scores a win with a nice roll-up. Bliss and Moon trade pin attempts to no avail, then Bliss connects with a big right to floor Moon and then blows a kiss at Ronda.
Bliss shoves the head of Ember a few times but that just fires-up Ember up. Moon attacks Bliss, forcing her to the corner and hits a running hip attack. Moon goes to the second rope and looks for a tornado DDT but stops on her feet and hits a suplex instead for a near-fall. Alicia Fox climbs on the apron but Ronda pulls her off and throws her into the barricade. Alexa then slides out and throws Ronda into the barricade. Alexa comes back into the ring but Moon catches her with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster. Moon goes to the top rope and hits the Eclipse to Alexa! She pins the Champion but then Alicia Fox breaks it up!
Winner Via Disqualification: Ember Moon
Alicia lays a beating to Ember Moon until Ronda returns and hits Foxy with three Judo throws via Fox’s injured arm. Foxy and Bliss roll from the ring and lay on the ramp. Alexa looks terrified and clutches her title as Ronda stares at her.

We get a video of 2 weeks ago when Brock Lesnar came out and attacked Kurt Angle and Paul Heyman. Next, they play the final clip of Renee’s interview with Paul Heyman, in which Heyman said Reigns couldn’t beat Lesnar, “unless…” then trailed off. The announcers are curios as to what Heyman was going to say. We’ll hear from Roman Reigns later tonight.

We go backstage to Kurt Angle, whose arguing with Baron Corbin. Angle says he’s pissed because Angle went over his head to deal with Alexa. Corbin says he doesn’t care, he doesn’t need Angle’s permission. He leaves for the ring. Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler walk-in and ask where Seth Rollins is. Angle says Rollins was in China last week and has had travel issues but he will be here tonight. He asks Ziggler and McIntyre to leave and they laugh before walking away.
Baron Corbin makes his way to the ring for a match, and that takes place after the break.

Baron Corbin Vs. Tyler Breeze
The bell rings and Corbin forces Breeze to the corner with a lock-up. The announcers reckon Corbin hand-picked Breeze as his opponent because he’s similarly sized to Finn Balor. Corbin floors Breeze with a shoulder tackle, then applies a modified chinlock to ground Breeze.
Breeze fights Corbin off and knocks him from the ring with a basement dropkick. Breeze takes to the apron and leaves onto Corbin, who catches him in mid-air and throws him into the barricade, chest-first. Back inside the ring, Corbin stomps on Breeze. Corbin goes back to the modified chinlock and trash talks Breeze. The Constable slams Breeze, then gets knocked from the ring by a clothesline from Tyler. Breeze leaps over the top rope but nobody’s home. Corbin looks for a back body drop but Breeze lands on his feet and knocks Corbin back into the ring. Breeze flips over the top rope and over Corbin, hits the ropes, then runs into Deep Six and Corbin wins.
Winner: Baron Corbin
Corbin grabs the mic after the match and brags about winning. He says that was a tase of what he will on Sunday to Finn Balor. Speaking of whom, Corbin says he will be wrestling next and introduces his opponent… Jinder Mahal. Corbin shakes Jinder’s hand as he comes to the ring, and turns to leave but stops and says perhaps Finn would like to face two people. He says Finn thinks he’s a big guy, so why not make this a handicap match. Corbin introduces Mahal’s partner, Kevin Owens. That match takes place after the break.
