WrestleMania 36 will be presented unlike any previous event. The coronavirus pandemic has made things very difficult, but it will also give them a chance to be creative.
WWE has seven matches that are 100% confirmed for WrestleMania right now. Randy Orton hasn’t even accepted Edge’s challenge in storyline yet.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there’s still a possibility that the company will add Andrade vs Rey Mysterio or some other United States Title match to the card.
Rey Mysterio beating U.S. champion Andrade in a non-title match would seem to set up a title match. We are told that match is possible but not a lock as no matches not announced right now are locks any longer.
The United States Title was put on the back burner when Andrade was suspended for a Wellness Policy violation. He held onto that title throughout his suspension and has yet to drop it despite rumors that he would be losing his title very soon.
