WWE Main Event’s move to Rumble is off to a massive start, with the debut episode already closing in on half a million views.

The October 14 episode, which streamed on Rumble at 8:00 p.m. ET, was sitting at approximately 498,000 views as of writing. The show featured Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria, Dragon Lee vs. Austin Theory, Rey Fenix vs. Kit Wilson and Nathan Frazer vs. Ricky Saints.

What makes the number even more interesting is the difference between WWE’s reach on the two platforms. WWE’s official YouTube channel currently has around 114 million subscribers, while its Rumble presence has roughly 22,100 followers. Despite that enormous gap, the first Main Event episode on Rumble has already surpassed the view count of WWE’s final Main Event stream on YouTube, which currently sits at approximately 380,000 views.

The engagement numbers tell another part of the story. The Rumble broadcast had around 1,250 thumbs up, 47 thumbs down and just 96 comments as of writing, although users must be logged into Rumble to comment. WWE’s final YouTube episode had 344 comments.

Rumble also gave WWE Main Event some prime real estate by promoting the show with a major banner on its front page, giving the debut additional visibility beyond WWE’s existing follower count on the platform.

The move was first revealed as part of WWE’s new agreement with Rumble, which brings Main Event to the platform every Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. ET beginning October 14. That timeslot puts the show directly against AEW Dynamite on TBS and HBO Max, while WWE’s own Evolve series also airs Wednesday nights on Tubi.

Main Event had been streaming on YouTube throughout 2026. The long-running WWE series currently features matches taped ahead of Raw or SmackDown, often giving wrestlers without a match on the main television broadcast additional ring time.

With the first Rumble episode already knocking on the door of 500,000 views, WWE’s decision to move Main Event away from a YouTube channel with more than 100 million subscribers is already producing some eye-catching numbers.
