Hulk Hogan’s SLAM Sports Bar is already being built as a tribute to his legacy, but Nick Hogan wants WWE to have a pretty big place inside it too. With the massive venue sitting directly across from Madison Square Garden, Nick says the doors will be open for WWE whenever the company comes to town.

While speaking to TV Insider, Nick revealed that WWE has shown “massive excitement” about SLAM and its location. And Nick isn’t just talking about putting WWE memorabilia on the walls. The plan is to let WWE actually use SLAM as an auxiliary space whenever the company runs Madison Square Garden.

“They have shared some massive excitement for the opening of SLAM, especially because it’s right there at Madison Square Garden. We fully plan to allow them to use it as an auxiliary space. Anytime they have events there, anything they need, we’ll accommodate and make sure that they’re available to use the space.”

That could make SLAM a pretty natural extension of WWE events at MSG. Exactly what WWE could use the space for hasn’t been revealed, and there’s no official partnership announced, but Nick is clearly offering the company access whenever it needs it.

WWE will also be all over the televisions inside the place. Nick says SLAM plans to show WWE premium live events and other wrestling programming so fans can come together and watch the shows there.

“We’ll definitely be participating in having all the premium live events there. All the wrestling programming available for the fans to watch at SLAM, and it’s going to be a pretty cool experience for people when they come in there.”

The relationship between WWE and the Hogan family has remained strong since Hulk Hogan’s death in July 2025. Nick had nothing but good things to say about how WWE has treated his family, specifically naming Nick Khan and Triple H.

“Our relationship with WWE is so fantastic. They are so gracious. They have been so kind and helpful through this process. The moment my dad passed, and even prior to that, they’ve always just embraced us with open arms. Nick Khan, Paul [Levesque], everybody in the company has just been so welcoming, and so helpful.”

WWE also honored Hogan during WrestleMania weekend this year with a Hall of Fame “Immortal Moment.” Then came something Nick wasn’t expecting at all. Triple H surprised him with the unveiling of a Hulk Hogan statue. That was apparently the moment Nick finally lost his composure.

“Even at WrestleMania this year, they did so many things to honor my dad including the Hall of Fame ‘Immortal Moment,’ and then the statue that they unveiled. It was a complete surprise to me. I was pretty strong through the whole WrestleMania weekend, and then when Paul had come out and surprised me with that statue, and they made that announcement, I cracked there. I definitely started shedding a few tears there. It was just a really beautiful moment.”

SLAM was supposed to be one of Hulk Hogan’s next major business ventures before his death. The three-story sports bar has around $7 million invested into it and sits directly across from Madison Square Garden, a building forever connected to Hogan’s wrestling career. Nick stepped in to help carry the project across the finish line after his father died, and now it looks like WWE could become a pretty natural part of what SLAM eventually becomes.

Nothing has been announced as an official WWE-SLAM partnership yet. However, between WWE programming playing inside, premium live event watch parties and Nick offering the entire venue as additional space whenever WWE runs MSG, wrestling fans probably won’t have to look very hard to find WWE’s presence once the doors finally open.
