The Countdown To WWE Clash In Italy Pre-Show opens up with Joe Tessitore welcoming us as we see the sights of Turin, Italy and the thousands of fans. We then see the arrivals of “The Ruler” Oba Femi and Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

We then get a video package of WWE Clash In Italy.

We then see the arrivals of WWE Women’s Champion “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill and Sol Ruca.

Joe Tessitore then introduces his co-hosts Big E, Corey Graves and Peter Rosenberg and they talk about the lineup for today’s Clash In Italy PLE.

Cathy Kelley then talks about Oba Femi and his match against Brock Lesnar, while Byron Saxton talks about GUNTHER and his match with Cody Rhodes. The panel also talks about GUNTHER and his match with Cody Rhodes.

Joe Tessitore then interviews Cody Rhodes. Joe asks about the attack after Cody’s match at WrestleMania. Cody says everything you needed to know about him happened after. Cody then says he got up and he walked. Cody then says he tried to make eye contact with as many people to show that he was still the champion, that he was still here and if that was Randy’s best shot, what does that say. Cody then says he is very lucky and he does not know how much luck he has left. Joe then asks about spending time with his family. Cody says there is no healing like healing with your family. Cody then says his father talked about walking around the house busted up and to have a young child ask what happened or if he is okay.

Joe then asks about Cody making a quick return. Cody says it was very important and he has to be consistent. Cody then says people joke about him doing the Cena schedule, but what else are you going to follow. Cody then says he needs the challenges. Cody then mentions it has been ten years since he left WWE and it has been a gift to make the right decisions, so it s the right thing, but also to make mistakes. Cody then says that is his life.

The panel then continues their talk about the Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER Match. The panel then announced that this will be the opening match of the first hour.

Sol Ruca then joins the pre-show panel and we see the arrival of WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion “The Man” Becky Lynch.

Corey Graves then interviews Becky Lynch. Corey asks about Becky’s victory at WrestleMania. Becky says it was an incredible evening. Becky then says she never lost the title because of biased referees. Corey then asks about Sol Ruca confronting her at the RAW after WrestleMania. Becky says Sol is a troublemaker. Becky then says she has a contract signing ceremony and it was during her celebration. Becky then says she went out there to talk to Adam Pearce and Sol confronts her. Becky then says Sol attacked her for no reason. Corey then asks about the match at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Becky says she had Sol dead to rights and she tried to pull the referee out of the way and she gets disqualified. Becky then says she saved Jessika Carr even though she doesn’t like her. Corey then asks about the challenge facing Sol against her. Becky says Sol is not ready. Becky then says she has bitten off more than she can chew. Becky then says Sol will run home to America while she celebrates with her family in Europe.

The panel then talks to Sol Ruca. Sol says she is honored to be here when asked about the crowd reaction. Joe then asks how Sol reacts when Becky says she is not ready. WWE Clash In Italy Results (5/31/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

WWE Clash In Italy opens up with Michael Cole welcoming us to the show and he gives us a geography lesson regarding the location of the host city.

We then see the arrivals of World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Sol Ruca, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar.

We then get a Clash In Italy video package. We then head into the Inalpi Arena and we see some fireworks go off as the crowd is going wild. Michael Cole then introduces the Italian commentary team.

Cody Rhodes then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the PLE and GUNTHER follows.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes (c) vs. “The Ring General” GUNTHER

The match starts off with both men locking up and Cody cinches in a wrist lock. Both men then go around the ring and Cody gives a clean break. Cody then does a Stardust cartwheel. Both men then go for a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and GUNTHER gets Cody to his knees. Cody then gets back to his feet and GUNTHER backs him into the corner. GUNTHER then hits a chop on the break and GUNTHER follows it up with another chop. Cody then hits a kick and a drop down punch. Cody then goes for a springboard move and GUNTHER hits a chop. GUNTHER then hits several knees to the midsection and a chop for a near fall. GUNTHER then hits a chop to the back. GUNTHER then hits an Irish whip. GUNTHER then hits another Irish whip and Cody floats over. GUNTHER then goes for a sleeper, but Cody escapes. Cody then hits a snap mare and GUNTHER hits a boot. GUNTHER then hits a forearm to the back.

Cody then hits several punches and GUNTHER hits a shoulder to send Cody to the mat. Cody then lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Cody hits several punches. Cody then floats over in the corner and he hits a power slam. Cody then hits several jabs and a Bionic elbow. Cody then hits a kick and a Pedigree for a near fall. Cody then goes to the apron and he leaps over GUNTHER, but GUNTHER hits a running drop kick and a power bomb for a near fall. GUNTHER then goes to the turnbuckles, but Cody gets his knees up when GUNTHER goes for a frog splash. Cody then hits a Disaster Kick and he follows it up with a Cross Rhodes for a near fall. Cody then goes for a double jump Cody Cutter, but GUNTHER sees it coming and GUNTHER catches Cody and applies a sleeper. Cody then rolls over to get a near fall. GUNTHER then returns to the sleeper and he gets Cody to the mat and adds a body scissors.

GUNTHER then gets on Cody’s back while holding on to the sleeper. Cody then gets to his feet and he drops back to the mat to escape the hold. GUNTHER then reapplies the sleeper. GUNTHER then hits several elbows and he returns to the sleeper. GUNTHER then adds the body scissors and Cody starts to pass out. Cody then gets a second wind and he gets to the ropes to force a break. GUNTHER then kicks Cody in the head and waits for him to get to his feet. GUNTHER then hits a forearm to the back, but Cody punches back. GUNTHER then hits a chop and Cody fires back. They then go back and forth. GUNTHER then hits a clothesline and Cody hits a clothesline, but both men stay on their feet. GUNTHER then hits a clothesline to send Cody to the mat. GUNTHER then catches Cody on a Cody Cutter attempt. GUNTHER then goes for a sleeper, but Cody reverses. Cody then hits a clothesline and a Cody Cutter. Cody then hits a Cross Rhodes for the win.

After the match, GUNTHER tries to get the referee’s attention. We then see the replay and GUNTHER’s leg appears to be under the bottom rope. GUNTHER then argues with the referee, but the referee’s decision is final.

Jade Cargill then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the PLE and Rhea Ripley follows.

WWE Women’s Championship Match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Jade Cargill

The match starts off with both women locking up and they go to a stalemate. Both women then lock up again and they go into the corner. Rhea then gets a take down in the collar and elbow tie up. Jade then hits a couple of slaps, but Rhea hits a kick and a face buster. Jade then avoids a clothesline and Jade slams Rhea. Jade then does push ups in front of Rhea and Rhea slaps Jade. Jade is then sent to the floor and Rhea hits a drop kick through the ropes. Rhea then goes for a cannonball, but Jade sends Rhea to her feet and she hits a forearm. Jade then sends Rhea into the apron and she hits a pop up knee. Jade then sends Rhea into the apron and Jade hits a fallaway slam on the floor. Jade then sends Rhea back into the ring. Rhea then hits a punch and Jade hits several elbows and kicks.

Jade then chokes Rhea in the ropes. Jade then sends Rhea into the turnbuckles and she chokes Rhea. Jade then hits a forearm in the corner and she follows it up with a hard Irish whip. Jade then does some more push ups. Jade then hits a suplex and she gets a near fall. Jade then slams Rhea’s head into the mat. Jade then kicks Rhea and she hits a European uppercut. Jade then kicks Rhea in the back. Rhea then hits several chops. Jade then hits an Irish whip. Jade then hits a suplex for a near fall. Jade then applies a reverse chin lock. Jade then sends Rhea to the mat by her hair. Rhea then hits several punches and Jade hits a punch and a slam, but Jade misses an elbow drop. Jade then runs shoulder first into the ring post when Rhea moves. Rhea then hits several clotheslines and a head butt followed by a back heel kick and a face plant.

Rhea then hits a missile drop kick and a German suplex. Jade then goes to the floor and Rhea hits a cannonball off the apron. Rhea then goes up top and she hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Jade then blocks a Razor’s Edge and she hits a back body drop. Rhea then kicks Jade and both women are down. Both women then go face to face and they exchange punches and forearms. Jade then misses a bicycle kick, but Rhea escapes a Jaded. Rhea then hits a head butt and Jade escapes a Rip Tide. Rhea then hits an enzuigiri. Rhea then sets up for a Razor’s Edge and she hits it. Rhea then hits a Shining Wizard for a near fall. Rhea then gets Jade on her shoulders and Jade holds on to the ropes. Jade then hits a head scissors that sends both women over the top rope and Rhea hits the apron. Rhea then holds on and she drops Jade face first on the apron. Rhea then gets a near fall.

Rhea then goes for a Rip Tide and Jade escapes. Jade then goes for a Jaded, but Rhea goes through the legs and she tries to hit a RipTide, but Jade hits a DDT. Rhea then lands on her feet on a belly-to-back suplex. Jade then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. Jade then goes up top and Rhea hits a chop. Rhea then hits another chop and a forearm. Rhea then goes to the turnbuckles and she hits several forearms to the back to set up for a Super Rip Tide. Rhea then goes for a belly-to-back superplex and she hits it for a near fall.

B-Fab and Michin then make their way down to the ring and Rhea turns into a bicycle kick. Rhea then counters a Jaded with a victory roll and a double stomp. Rhea then hits a Rip Tide and B-Fab eventually almost puts the foot on the rope to stop the count. The referee then sends them to the back. Rhea then goes to the floor and Charlotte Flair hits a cross body off the ringside barrier. Michin is then sent into the ring post. Jade then hits a bicycle kick and a Jaded, but Charlotte puts Rhea’s foot on the ropes to break the count. Jade then goes for a choke slam, but Rhea escapes and she hits a head butt. Rhea then hits a Rip Tide for the win.

Brock Lesnar then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PLE with Paul Heyman and Oba Femi follows.

Singles Match: “The Ruler” Oba Femi vs. “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar

The match starts off with Brock attacking Oba from behind. Brock then hits an F5. Brock then hits a second F5. Brock then goes for a third one and he hits it. Brock then goes for number four and hits it. Brock then gets a near fall. Brock then goes for a kimura and he adds a body scissors. Oba then gets to his feet and he hits a spine buster to force Brock to release the hold. Brock then returns to the kimura and Oba sends Brock into the corner. Brock then holds on and Oba sends him into the corner again. Oba then finally gets free. Oba then goes for a choke slam and Brock escapes and hits an F5. Brock then gets a near fall.

Oba then escapes an F5 and Oba hits a choke slam for a near fall. Oba then clotheslines Brock over the top rope and Oba also goes to the floor. Oba then adjusts the announce desk. Brock then Irish whips Oba into the ring post. Brock then applies a kimura on the floor and Oba sends Brock into the ring post. Oba then goes for a choke slam onto the announce desk, but Brock escapes and he hits an F5 through the announce desk. Brock then gets back in the ring while the referee starts the count. Oba then pops up and he gets back into the ring. Brock is in shock and Oba hits a running uppercut and follows it up with a second one. Oba then hits a third one and a toss power bomb. Oba then goes for the pop up power bomb, but Brock escapes. Brock then hits another F5 for the win.

After the match, Brock Lesnar tells Oba Femi one and one and you are done b***h. Lesnar then says one and one and you are done.

Sol Ruca then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the PLE and Becky Lynch follows.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: “The Man” Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sol Ruca

The match starts off with Becky having some words for the referee and Sol goes for a matrix to avoid a clothesline. Sol then hits a clothesline. Becky then gets in the ropes and hides behind the referee. Sol then blocks a kick and Sol hits a spinning face plant. Sol then hits several forearms and a kick to the back of the leg. Sol then hits a curb stomp into the turnbuckles. Sol then hits a splash and a kick for a near fall. Sol then applies a wrist lock and some arm wringers. Sol then floats over on an Irish whip. Becky then clotheslines Sol over the top rope and to the floor. Becky then hits a baseball slide. Becky then misses a forearm off the apron and Sol hangs in the ropes to avoid a slap from Becky and Becky hits the ring post. Sol then hits a moonsault to the floor.

They then return to the ring and Sol gets a near fall. Becky then sends Sol into the turnbuckles. Sol then hits a sunset flip for a near fall. Sol then hits a leg sweep and she flips over Becky. Becky then sends Sol to the apron, but Sol hits several forearms. Becky then sends Sol into the turnbuckles. Sol then blocks a superplex and Sol hits a head butt. Sol then hits a Super X Factor for a near fall. Sol then goes up top and Becky grabs the referee and pushes her into the ropes to crotch Sol. Becky then hits a superplex and Sol blocks a DDT and hits a super kick. Becky then goes to the floor and Sol sets up for the Sasuke Special and she glances and hits Becky. Sol then goes for a springboard senton and Becky blocks the clothesline. Becky then hits a uranage for a near fall. Becky then comes off the turnbuckles and Sol catches her and hits a uranage for a near fall. Becky then catches Sol and gets her on her shoulders. Sol then hits a sunset flip and she goes to the turnbuckles to escape a Man Handle Slam. Sol then hits a Sol Snatcher for the win.

After the match, Sol holds the championship high above her head and celebrates as pyro goes off and Becky is shown feeling dejected.

Jacob Fatu then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the PLE with a huge brace on his leg and Roman Reigns follows.

The match starts off with both men locking up and Roman pushes Fatu away. Both men then lock up again and Roman applies a side head lock. Fatu then hits a punch and he applies a side head lock of his own. Fatu then hits a shoulder tackle. Roman then hits a clothesline. Roman then punches Fatu in the corner and sends him into the turnbuckles. Fatu then hits a running back elbow and he goes for the Tongan Death Grip, but Roman escapes to the floor. Fatu then hits a suicide dive to send Roman into the ringside barrier. Fatu then sends Roman into the ringside barrier and into the crowd. Fatu then hits a head butt. They then fight to the stairs and Roman hits some punches. Fatu then sends Roman into the railing and he hits some head butts. Fatu then sends Roman into a chair.

Roman then punches Fatu and he hits him with a bucket of ice. Fatu then hits a kick and Roman is sent back into the ringside area. Fatu then chokes Roman. Fatu then hits a head butt. Fatu then exposes what is under the ring and Roman stops Fatu and punches him. Roman then sends Fatu into the ring post. Roman then looks under the ring and he pulls out a table. Fatu then hits Roman from behind and Fatu pushes the table against the apron. Roman then hits a boot. Fatu then sends Roman into the apron and the ring steps. The top half of the ring steps are then placed in the ring. Fatu then sends Roman into the ring. Roman then hits an uppercut to send Fatu back to the floor. Roman then picks up the steps and throws them at Fatu.

Roman then hits a drive by that sends Fatu into the ring post. Roman then hits a clothesline and a leaping clothesline. Roman then hits another clothesline in the corner. Roman then hits a running boot to the head. Roman then signals for the Superman punch, but he misses. Fatu then hits several punches. Roman then hits a kick and Fatu hits a clothesline and a back senton. Fatu then hits a splash into the corner and he climbs the turnbuckles to head butt Roman several times. Fatu then hits a running hip into the corner and he goes for a pop up move, but Roman counters with a Superman punch for a near fall. Roman then signals for the spear, but Fatu hits a thrust kick. Fatu then applies the Tongan Death Grip and Roman drops to a knee. Roman is then able to get back to his feet and he punches Fatu. Fatu then sends Roman over the top rope and to the floor.

Roman then counters a suicide dive with a Superman punch and Fatu falls to the floor. Roman then goes under the ring for a kendo stick, but he returns it back. Roman then gets the tool box. Roman then slams the tool box on the Tongan Death Grip hand. Roman then empties the contents of the tool box. Roman then hits the hand again against the ring steps. Roman then slams the hand into the mat. Roman then hits several punches. Roman then sets up a table in the ring against the turnbuckles. Roman then slams the hand into the mat again. Roman then sets up for a spear and Fatu hits a splash and a running hip. Fatu then goes to the floor and he goes for a run, but Roman hits a Superman punch to stop Fatu. Roman then spears Fatu through the ringside barrier and two members of the security detail are crushed in the aftermath.

Roman then sends Fatu back into the ring and Roman hits a spear for a near fall. Roman then has some words for Fatu about how he doesn’t need help and he never needed help. Roman then pulls off the turnbuckle pad and he pulls off a second one. Roman then decides to remove a third turnbuckle pad. Fatu then applies the Tongan Death Grip, but Roman escapes. Roman then hits a Superman punch and Fatu stand on his feet. Roman then hits another Superman punch and Fatu stays on his feet. Roman then sends Fatu into two exposed turnbuckles and Fatu hits a spear to Roman for a near fall.

Fatu then misses the double jump moonsault when Roman moves. Roman then goes for a spear, but Fatu catches Roman and hits a pop up Samoan drop. Fatu then hits a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Roman then hits Fatu in the groinal area when he kicks out. Fatu then hits a punch and Roman punches back. They then go back and forth. Fatu then applies the Tongan Death Grip and Roman escapes and he sends Fatu into the exposed turnbuckle several times. Roman then sets up for a spear through the table and he hits it. Roman then gets to his feet first and Roman hits another spear for the win.

After the match, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso make their way down to the ring. Jey then places the Ula Fala around Reigns’ neck and Reigns stares down Fatu in the corner of the ring before he leaves the ring with The Usos. MFT’s Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga then appear in the crowd as Reigns and The Usos head up the entrance ramp. Jey then demands that Fatu come with him, Jimmy and Reigns, but Fatu stops at the bottom of the entrance ramp and stares down MFT in the crowd. He then decides to leave with Reigns and The Usos, with the four men heading up the entrance ramp as the Clash In Italy PLE comes to a close.
