Will Ospreay survived a pile-on from the Death Riders and a brutal fight with Jon Moxley to keep the AEW World Championship at AEW All Out on September 26, 2026. The main event spiraled into a ringside brawl, multiple referee bumps and several near-falls before Ospreay finally put Moxley away with one last Hidden Blade.
Moxley went after Ospreay’s head, neck and fingers throughout the match, even driving him into the ring steps and dropping him with a delayed piledriver. Ospreay kept fighting back, landing a Skytwister Press, a Styles Clash and an Oscutter, but Moxley kicked out and answered with a vicious lariat and Gotch-style piledriver of his own.
The Death Riders then tried to swing the match in Moxley’s favor. Marina Shafir grabbed Ospreay’s boot to stop a Hidden Blade, and after the referee went down, Wheeler Yuta attacked Ospreay while the ringside fight spilled out of control. Mike Bailey and Francesco Akira fought off the interference, while Andrade stopped PAC from getting to Ospreay.
Shafir later blasted Ospreay with a briefcase and sent a referee back into the ring, but Ospreay still kicked out. The chaos kept escalating: Shafir attacked the official, the Brawling Birds took her down, and another referee came out as Moxley smashed Ospreay with the briefcase and hit multiple Paradigm Shifts.
Moxley even locked in a rear choke, but Ospreay escaped and hit a Hidden Blade followed by a Stormbreaker. When that only got two, Ospreay called Moxley back into the fight and landed one final Hidden Blade to score the win and retain the title.
