Will Ospreay keeps getting asked the same question about WWE, and at this point, he knows it’s just part of being one of wrestling’s biggest names. But if fans are waiting for him to start teasing some big jump away from AEW, they’re probably not going to get much from him right now.

Speaking to Brandon Kravitz, Ospreay was directly asked whether he’s getting tired of constantly hearing questions about WWE and the possibility that he’ll eventually leave AEW. Ospreay isn’t losing sleep over it because he understands those questions simply come with the territory.

“Uh, it’s — I just, I know it’s a part of the gig. Like, people always ask, and, like, I can only give my opinion. I don’t really care about it.”

That doesn’t mean Ospreay is secretly sitting around thinking about his next move either. As far as he’s concerned, his attention is on AEW and what he can accomplish with the company he’s already working for.

“Like, it’s just — I’d rather focus on AEW, and I’d rather focus on, like, what we’re able to do here.”

Ospreay then made it pretty clear why he’s so invested in AEW. He believes the company is actively changing professional wrestling, and he’s proud of what it puts in front of fans.

“And, like, what I believe AEW is, is changing the face of professional wrestling. And I love what we present. I love what we do. I love our wrestling. I love everything that, like, we’re all about.”

And when it comes to worrying about what WWE or anybody else is doing, Ospreay doesn’t sound particularly interested. His answer couldn’t have been much clearer about where his priorities are right now.

“So, like, I couldn’t really care less about any other promotion.”

The conversation then shifted to the never-ending comparison between wrestling companies and whether that constant AEW-versus-WWE debate actually hurts the business. Ospreay didn’t blame fans for doing it or turn the question into another promotional war, instead treating it as something wrestlers simply have to deal with.

“It’s just part of the game, boss. Like, you just got to learn to take it.”

Ospreay knows the WWE questions probably aren’t going away anytime soon, especially as long as fans keep wondering what his future could eventually look like. For now, though, he isn’t feeding that speculation and sounds perfectly happy keeping his attention on AEW.
