WWE fans hoping to finally learn when WrestleMania 43 will take place may have to keep waiting. A new backstage report says the company isn’t planning to reveal the event’s date anytime this month and, at least internally, there’s no rush to make it public.
According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, WWE currently has no plans to announce the date for WrestleMania 43 during October. The report says the company isn’t treating the announcement as a priority because of the unique circumstances surrounding the 2027 event, including how ticket distribution is expected to work in Saudi Arabia.
“Regarding the announcement of WrestleMania 43’s date, WWE has been in no rush to make that information public. Currently, the company does not plan to announce anything in October.”
WrestleVotes added that those special circumstances have played a major role in the delay. The report also notes that keeping the date under wraps may offer WWE a competitive advantage. Without a confirmed WrestleMania weekend to plan around, other promotions are left guessing as they map out their own major events and pay-per-view schedules.
“Sources indicated that given the special circumstances surrounding this event, including how ticket distribution is expected to work in the host city, publicly revealing the date simply hasn’t been a priority. By doing this, WWE is keeping stateside competition in limbo when planning around that date.”
While there’s still no official announcement, those connected to the event reportedly believe the WrestleMania 43 date could be revealed around the time of Crown Jewel. For now, though, WWE appears content to keep fans—and the rest of the wrestling industry—waiting.
