The Rascalz’ debut on AEW Collision had fans hyped—until one major question clouded the moment: Where is Trey Miguel?

While Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed made their first AEW appearance together on the January 17, 2026 episode of Collision, Miguel was nowhere to be seen. He wasn’t mentioned on commentary, didn’t appear in any backstage segment, and even deleted AEW-related tweets, including one where he teased “Coming soon.”

That silence ended just a day later. On January 18, Trey Miguel posted a message to his Instagram Story that finally addressed his sudden absence from AEW—and wrestling in general:

“Taking a break from wrestling. Please respect my space and don’t tag me in any posts or comments. Go support the Rascalz still.. 🙏💚”

The message, simple and direct, confirms that Miguel is stepping away from the business entirely for now. While he didn’t go into detail, the request for space suggests this break isn’t about creative differences or contract issues—it’s personal.

Now, with Miguel officially stepping away, it appears AEW plans for The Rascalz will continue with Wentz, Xavier, and Reed—for now.

Whether this is a temporary breather or something longer-term, one thing is clear: Trey Miguel needed to step back, and he’s asked fans to respect that boundary.

What do you think about Trey Miguel’s decision to step away right as The Rascalz hit AEW? Should AEW have waited for all four to debut together—or is the show still strong without him? Let us know in the comments.
