Wendy Choo Wins WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship In Eliminator Gauntlet Match

Wendy Choo has officially claimed gold after winning the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship in a hard-fought eliminator gauntlet match.

Choo secured the title by outlasting a stacked field that included Karmen Petrovic, Tyra Mae Steele, Kali Armstrong, PJ Vasa, and Nikkita Lyons. The match came down to Choo and Lyons, with Choo sealing the victory after entering as the fourth competitor in the gauntlet.

The win marks Choo’s first reign as EVOLVE Women’s Champion and gives her a major milestone in her WWE career.

The championship had recently been vacated by Kendal Grey after she received her call-up to WWE NXT. Grey previously held the title for 150 days before leaving the EVOLVE brand, creating the opening that led to the gauntlet match.
