Wendy Choo did not say much after losing the WWE EVOLVE Women’s Championship, but she definitely got people talking.
Choo lost the title to Nikkita Lyons at WWE EVOLVE Succession III after Lyons put her away with a spinning front kick to the face. The loss ended Choo’s 70-day reign as champion and gave Lyons her first championship in WWE.
Shortly after the broadcast aired, Choo posted a cryptic message on social media with no explanation.
“…bye”
The post also included a photo of Choo standing with Oba Femi while the two appeared to be smoking cigars. Choo did not say whether the post was about her title loss, her next move, or something else entirely. That is what makes the timing interesting. Choo dropped the message right after fans saw her lose the EVOLVE Women’s Championship, and she left everyone to figure out the meaning on their own.
Choo’s title reign began on March 20 and lasted until her match with Lyons was taped on May 29. During that run, she made two successful title defenses before Lyons ended her time with the belt.
Now the attention turns to what Wendy Choo does next. Whether this was just a reaction to losing the title or a tease for a new direction, Choo made sure fans noticed. Ringside News will continue to keep you updated on her status as more information becomes available.
