The next event they held they sold out a stadium of 20,000 people. Their feud had transcended pop culture and was now a huge story locally. It was Vito’s goal to get this hometown babyface over, and by putting him over in front of 20,000 fans he knew they’d be making a star. However, the timing wasn’t right that night.
Vito went home and made his return to Nepal in order to face the same babyface in another sold out arena with 20,000 fans. They met at the airport again and to Vito’s surprise the local media had turned on the local hero because he was getting beat up by a North American.
The security concerns were greater than ever because it was quite a task to escape 5,000 fans, so escaping 20,000 fans would be all but impossible. His goal was to make a star out of the local babyface that night and after he put him over in the middle of the ring, he felt confident that he succeeded in his goal. He looked at the babyface and told him he was the Hulk Hogan of that territory now, so don’t accept losing to just anyone.
Vito informs that he made ‘a couple thousand’ for that final appearance to pay off the feud. Unfortunately, after the show the promoter told him that the government took all the money from the gate so the promoter didn’t make one dollar whatsoever.
