Russo says he has no idea why guys like Aiden English and Tye Dillinger are even on the Smackdown roster if they’re going to just lose every week. Lane thinks WWE is starting to bring back ‘jobbers with gimmicks’ similar to what we saw in the 80’s and early 90’s, and both Dillnger and English are filling those roles right now.
Lastly, Russo says he has no idea why Nakamura and Randy Orton are having a number 1 contenders match next week when they’ve both recently lost to Mahal. He says that this is another example of the brand split thinning WWE’s roster, and that’s why we keep seeing the same matchups over and over again.
