Veronica West has officially closed the door on her WWE EVOLVE run, and she made it clear that she’s heading back to the independent scene instead of disappearing from wrestling.

Shortly after competing on the October 7 episode, West revealed that the match was her final one for WWE EVOLVE and thanked Airica Demia for being across the ring from her. West posted the message after the show and directly confirmed that her EVOLVE run had come to an end.

“Tonight was my final match on WWE Evolve. I’m grateful it was against you 💚🤍🫀🪽 @Airica_Demia Free on Tubi!”

West later responded to a fan who told people to keep supporting her outside WWE, and she made it clear that the next chapter will continue on the independent circuit.

“Yes please continue supporting us on the indies🥺 thank you to everyone who has joined the Angel Army through my run at the WWE 🫀🪽🤍 I look forward to continue progressing in prowrestling, and would love to keep you by my side :)”

The departure doesn’t come out of nowhere. Ringside News previously covered West’s exit from the WWE ID program in July, when she was still working as Veronica Haven. She said at the time that her WWE ID run was over but stressed that she was only 22 years old, had less than three years in wrestling and had no plans to stop chasing a career in the business.

Before becoming Veronica West, she wrestled as Fallyn Grey on the independent scene and was later given the Veronica Haven name after joining WWE ID. Ringside News first covered her connection to WWE ID in March when she was identified as one of several independent wrestlers moving into WWE’s developmental pipeline.

West began wrestling in 2023 and built up her résumé across the independent scene before and during her WWE run. She captured the Arizona Wrestling Federation Women’s Championship and also held Fighting Spirit Pro’s Radiance Championship twice, while working across promotions including Future Stars of Wrestling, Beyond Wrestling, WWR+, Glory Pro, Nightmare Factory and House of Hardcore.

Her WWE EVOLVE run included several notable matches. West, then wrestling as Veronica Haven, competed in a four-way match against Sloane Jacobs, Anya Rune and Gianna Capri, later faced Layla Diggs in singles action and also wrestled Vanta The Unknown during a Women’s Showcase special.

She also continued working on the independent scene during that stretch, including a defense of the AWF Women’s Championship against Steph De Lander and a challenge for the FSW Women’s Championship. West also teamed with Lillith Khan in a United Glory Tag Team Championship match before continuing with more singles competition.

There’s also a direct connection between West and Airica Demia beyond this final EVOLVE match. Ringside News previously covered WWE assigning Demia the Anya Rune name while West was still working under the Veronica Haven identity. Both women were part of the same developmental wave and crossed paths during that period.

West’s WWE chapter may be finished for now, but she isn’t talking like someone who is stepping away from wrestling. She is heading back to the indies, keeping the Angel Army with her and making it clear that the goal is still to keep progressing until another door opens.
