Val Venis wasn’t buying Janel Grant’s latest interview at all. In fact, he thinks there could be something much bigger behind the entire Vince McMahon saga—and he didn’t hold back when sharing his theory.
After Grant recently said she now feels “forgiveness” and even “empathy” toward McMahon despite the allegations in her lawsuit, Val Venis took to Twitter with a post suggesting he believes there may have been a coordinated effort to bring Grant into McMahon’s life. He didn’t present evidence for the claim and framed it as something he personally wouldn’t be surprised by.
“Ya know, I would not be surprised if the old CIA/Mossad playbook to control all media, finagled Janel Grant into Vince McMahons bubble, and took on the duties of honeypotting Vince for the sole purpose of taking full control of the WWE empire.”
Venis didn’t stop there. He also referenced TKO CEO Ari Emanuel’s family while continuing his theory, claiming that Ari Emanuel’s father is a Jewish terrorist who was absorbed into the IDF.
“After all, Aris father was a Jewish terrorist absorbed into the IDF.”
Grant’s comments that led to the post came during a recent interview with POST Wrestling, where she said the feeling that best describes where she is today is “forgiveness.” She also said she still feels empathy toward McMahon, while making it clear she isn’t backing away from the allegations in her lawsuit. McMahon has denied those allegations and has maintained that their relationship was consensual.
Venis’ post, however, goes far beyond anything alleged in the lawsuit or discussed by either Grant or McMahon. Rather than commenting on the legal case itself, he offered his own personal theory about how the entire situation came together.
Val Venis has never been shy about sharing controversial opinions online, and this is another one that’s likely to divide wrestling fans. Whether anyone else buys into his theory is another story entirely.
