The Usos apparently aren’t interested in hearing Andrade complain about Samoan wrestlers getting more opportunities in WWE. After Andrade questioned why some talent gets chance after chance while Mexican wrestlers struggle to get the same treatment, The Usos seemingly fired back with a pretty simple answer.
The Usos took to Twitter and dropped a message that appeared to be aimed directly at Andrade’s argument. They didn’t mention him by name, but considering the timing and what Andrade had just said, the connection was hard to miss.
“We draw. That’s the difference between us and them. Stop b******* and do sum shi”
That’s about as subtle as a Superkick. Andrade recently opened up about something that has clearly bothered him for a while. While speaking with Latin Lover, he argued that WWE has repeatedly given Samoan wrestlers opportunities that Mexican talent simply doesn’t get. Roman Reigns wasn’t part of his complaint. Andrade specifically acknowledged that Reigns made it, but said there are other Samoan wrestlers who have been given years to figure things out.
“There are several of them who haven’t, and they give them opportunities and give them opportunities, and they’re still there, they’re still there, they’re still there.”
Andrade’s frustration wasn’t only about what he’s seen happen to other Mexican wrestlers. He feels the same thing happened during his own WWE run, where he had to make whatever television time he received count because he never knew when another real opportunity would come
“There are wrestlers that WWE has given opportunities to 20, 30 times, and they keep them there until they make them stars. No matter how bad you are, no matter how bad you might be, when they want to make you, they make you.”
Of course, The Usos never actually said Andrade’s name, so there’s still enough wiggle room for them to say the tweet was about something else. The timing, however, certainly makes this one interesting. Andrade threw a pretty big rock into the Samoan wrestling family’s direction. It looks like The Usos may have just thrown one right back.
