The betting board for WWE SummerSlam has received a major update, and one championship match now has an overwhelming favorite to leave with the gold.
BetOnline.ag has posted fresh odds for six matches currently scheduled for the two-night event, including CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes, the Bloodline trios match and Penta defending the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable.
The biggest eye-opener is Gable sitting at -1500 against Penta, who is a massive +600 underdog despite entering SummerSlam as the champion. Those numbers strongly favor Gable capturing the Intercontinental Championship.
CM Punk is also heavily favored to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes. Punk currently sits at -600, while Rhodes is listed at +350.
Oba Femi remains the clear favorite to defeat Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell, but the gap has tightened. Oba moved from -4000 to -2000, while Lesnar improved from +1000 to +700.
Liv Morgan remains favored over IYO SKY in their Women’s World Championship match. Morgan moved slightly from -280 to -250, while IYO shifted from +185 to +170.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins remain exactly where they were on the previous board. Reigns is still the -1000 favorite to retain the World Heavyweight Championship, with Rollins sitting at +550.
BetOnline.ag also added odds for the trios match featuring Jacob Fatu and The Usos against LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys. Fatu and The Usos are favored at -300, while the opposing team enters as the +200 underdog.

Betting odds are not confirmation of WWE’s creative plans and can change as money comes in. Still, Gable being installed as such a massive favorite over the reigning champion will immediately raise questions about whether Penta’s title run is about to end at SummerSlam.
