UFC Fighter Cleared to Return to Competition After Freak Accident

Tony Ferguson announced via Twitter that he has been cleared to return to competition.

Tony went under the knife four months ago for knee surgery after being forced to withdraw from the UFC 223 main event that was originally scheduled to be against now undisputed lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

For those unaware, Tony was injured in a freak accident where he tripped and tore knee ligaments during media rounds for the event.
