Jin Tala wasted no time after her WWE exit—she’s already booked for her first match since being released. ‘
The former WWE LFG star will appear at All Caribbean Wrestling’s event on December 5th in Miami Gardens, Florida. She’ll be joined by another recently released WWE name: Drako Knox. The two competed together on WWE’s EVOLVE brand and were both featured during the LFG series on A&E. Now, they’re set to share the spotlight again outside WWE’s system.
Knox, who signed with WWE in 2023, was part of the latest wave of developmental cuts. Jin Tala, meanwhile, debuted in 2024 and was seen as one of the rising faces of WWE’s newer initiatives. She even challenged for the EVOLVE Women’s Championship this past summer.
Before her release, Tala had her last known WWE match on October 4 at an NXT live event. The news of her release surfaced shortly after, alongside names like Wes Lee, Lance Anoa’i, Stevie Turner, Brayden “BJ” Ray, Haze Jameson, Summer Sorrell, and Jamar Hampton.
Now, with her first independent booking on the calendar, Jin Tala’s message is loud and clear—she’s still in the game and ready to keep going.
Do you think WWE gave up too soon on Jin Tala and the others released from LFG and EVOLVE? Or was it just business as usual? Drop your take in the comments and let us know what you think.
