TNA’s Slammiversary event is over a week away and one of the biggest matches will see the TNA Tag Team Titles being defended in a ladder match. However, it appears that Trey Miguel will undergo surgery after the bout.

Trey Miguel took to Twitter and revealed that he’ll be having hernia surgery after Slammiversary. He said he was given the option but chose to still compete at the event, promising to give it his all because that’s what TNA and the fans deserve.

Miguel also mentioned it’s a minor surgery and he’s expected to make a full recovery. Trey thanked everyone for their kind messages and apologized if he missed replying to anyone.

“After Slammiversary I will undergo hernia surgery. I was given a choice and I chose to be there. I will give it my absolute best because that’s what @ThisIsTNA deserves and you the fans. A full recovery is expected as this is a minor surgery. Thank you all for the well wishes and messages. Apologies to anyone I missed and didn’t get to reply to. 🙏🏽💚”
