Tony Schiavone shared another update on Steven Borden after Sting’s son was taken to the hospital following a frightening collision at AEW All Out on September 26, 2026. Borden has had a CAT scan, and the encouraging news is that he’s talking and asking about the match.
Schiavone delivered the update from ringside, saying Borden had been speaking with doctors about what happened. He also shared that Borden was already asking about the match when he gave fans a fresh look at his condition.
“He’s been talking to the doctors about the match. He has had a CAT scan, but the good news is he’s talking and he’s asking about the match.”
Borden was taken to the hospital after he collided with Kevin Knight and hit his head. The referee immediately stopped the tag team match, which was supposed to determine the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. AEW announced the matchup earlier this month.
Borden’s CAT scan has been completed, but Schiavone did not share the results. Ringside News will keep you updated.
