Tony Khan Will Run AEW Remotely After Suffering ‘Head and Neck’ Injuries on 4/24 Dynamite

AEW has provided an update on Tony Khan’s condition following an unfortunate incident on AEW Dynamite.

During the broadcast, Tony Schiavone revealed that Tony Khan sustained “multiple head and neck injuries” after being attacked by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks during the show. Perry reportedly struck Khan in the stomach with a microphone, followed by the Bucks executing a TK Driver.

As a result of these injuries, Khan has been spotted at the NFL Draft wearing a neck brace. Schiavone mentioned during the April 27 AEW Collision episode that Khan is currently unable to travel but will continue to oversee AEW operations remotely from Jacksonville.

In light of Khan’s absence, there’s speculation about who will manage AEW on-site, with Nigel McGuinness pondering whether Executive Vice Presidents Matthew & Nicholas Jackson might step in to fill the role.
