AEW Worlds End has become the company’s year-end tradition, and Tony Khan confirmed that’s not changing in 2026.
During the AEW All Out media call, Khan confirmed that Worlds End will return this December despite the Jacksonville Jaguars being scheduled to play on Sunday Night Football during the final weekend of the year. Khan didn’t announce a date or location, but he made it clear the event is once again part of AEW’s year-end plans.
The pay-per-view has delivered some huge moments in recent years. At Worlds End 2025, Jon Moxley defeated Kazuchika Okada to capture the AEW Continental Championship, while MJF survived Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland and Adam Page in a four-way match to become AEW World Champion. The show also featured several other major storyline developments as AEW wrapped up the year.
With Worlds End officially returning this December, it’ll be interesting to see what AEW has planned to close out 2026. The company still has WrestleDream and plenty of television before then, but another major year-ending card is now officially on the calendar.
