Tony Khan says AEW is having its biggest year yet on pay-per-view, and he isn’t being shy about the numbers. The AEW President says the company’s PPV business has continued climbing in 2026, with its biggest numbers to date all coming this year.

Khan discussed AEW’s business during an interview with WPRK 91.5 FM ahead of WrestleDream. The conversation turned to AEW’s media situation, including Skydance, Warner Bros. and Paramount, and Khan used the opportunity to lay out how he believes the company is performing across television and pay-per-view.

Khan first said AEW’s television audience is up year-over-year and claimed the company is having the strongest year for viewership growth among wrestling promotions.

“We’re having great results on pay-per-view. So, it’s a very exciting time for this all to happen as AEW’s viewership is up year-over-year. And of wrestling companies year-over-year, AEW’s having the best year on TV in terms of viewership growth.”

Khan then turned his attention directly to AEW’s pay-per-view business. He said the numbers have increased since the company began offering its PPVs through HBO Max, pointing specifically to the difference between All Out 2025 and All Out 2026.

“And on pay-per-view, we’ve had a great year with AEW pay-per-views significantly up since we launched on HBO Max last year. Our first pay-per-view last year on HBO Max was All Out 2025. All Out 2026 was significantly up.”

Khan then dropped the bigger claim, saying AEW’s Wembley Stadium event produced the company’s largest pay-per-view number yet.

“And our biggest pay-per-view yet by far was AEW All In Wembley Stadium in London, which was a huge success for us.”

He followed that by saying AEW has now produced all of its biggest numbers during 2026.

“And all of our biggest numbers to this date have been in 2026. So the numbers keep going up on pay-per-view, which is great news. And I think it shows that the AEW fans really love the AEW pay-per-view product. We put on very strong shows that our fans love to watch. And we continue to get great viewership for Dynamite and Collision.”

Khan tied that growth back into AEW’s media future, saying he believes the company is entering an even stronger position with its partners.

“And this is all happening at a great time because this is a media partnership that I think will make AEW even stronger. And I think AEW brings a lot of positives to Skydance and we have a great relationship with David Ellison.”

AEW has taken plenty of heat over ratings and business chatter over the years, but Khan clearly believes the company has serious momentum where it matters most. If his numbers are any indication, 2026 isn’t just another strong year for AEW. In his eyes, it is the company’s biggest pay-per-view year yet.
