Shotzi Blackheart is officially back in TNA Wrestling, and this time she’s sticking around. The former WWE Superstar has signed a deal with the company, putting an end to any questions about her future following her recent appearance in Dothan, Alabama.
TNA Wrestling made the announcement on October 19, 2026, confirming that Shotzi Blackheart has joined its roster. The company credited Busted Open on SiriusXM with first breaking the news, making her signing official just days after she appeared at TNA’s mid-October live events.
The signing comes after Shotzi returned to TNA earlier this month, wasting little time getting herself involved in the Knockouts Division. Her appearance immediately got fans talking about whether she was simply making a one-off appearance or had something more permanent lined up.
Now we have our answer. Shotzi is no stranger to the wrestling business. The California native made her professional wrestling debut in 2014 before eventually making her way to WWE, where she became an NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion alongside Ember Moon. She also spent time on WWE’s main roster, becoming known for her distinctive personality, bright green hair, and willingness to take some pretty wild risks in the ring.
Following her WWE departure, Shotzi continued wrestling outside the company, and her recent TNA appearances made it clear that she wasn’t planning to disappear from the spotlight anytime soon.
TNA didn’t just announce her signing either. The company also released 10 fun facts about its newest addition, giving fans a look at what Shotzi gets up to when she isn’t throwing herself around a wrestling ring.
Apparently, she’s been riding motorcycles since she was 18, has traveled across America hunting ghosts for her YouTube series Chamber of Horrors, and even studied musical theatre at AMDA in Hollywood. She’s also a massive horror movie fan who dreams of directing her own horror film someday.
And that’s just the beginning. TNA revealed that Shotzi is obsessed with Elvis Presley, owns her own chicken farm, and once managed to ride every attraction across all four Walt Disney World theme parks in one day. The company also noted that she was named PWI’s 2025 Independent Wrestler of the Year and appeared on the magazine’s cover. Shotzi also made a point of celebrating her heritage.
“I’m proudly Filipino.”
Then there’s the detail about her wedding, which sounds like something straight out of a wrestling storyline. Shotzi revealed that she didn’t just get married and call it a day. She actually wrestled while still wearing her wedding dress.
“I got married and wrestled in my wedding dress all on the same day.”
As Ringside News previously covered, Shotzi’s future became a major topic of discussion following her departure from WWE and subsequent appearances outside the company. Her return to TNA gave fans another reason to wonder what she had planned next, but the company’s latest announcement makes it clear that she’s officially part of the roster.
Now Shotzi has a fresh opportunity to establish herself in TNA’s Knockouts Division, and there are plenty of potential opponents waiting for her. She’s already proven that she isn’t afraid to take chances, and with a new contract in place, it looks like the next chapter of her wrestling career is officially underway.
Whether Shotzi ends up chasing championship gold or causing complete chaos in the Knockouts Division remains to be seen, but TNA just added a familiar face who knows how to get people talking. WWE may be in her rearview mirror, but Shotzi clearly isn’t finished making her mark in professional wrestling.
