Rich Swann’s latest run in TNA just hit a bad bump as he is currently out of action after suffering an injury.

Swann had already been quiet on the TNA side after returning in 2025, joining AJ Francis’ First Cla$$, getting turned on by Francis, and then beating him in January 2026. He later worked a few more matches, including an April 15 TNA World Title match against Mike Santana, but he hasn’t been around much since.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rich Swann and Jake Crist were both announced as injured on weekend indie shows: “Rich Swann and Jake Crist were both announced as injured on weekend independent shows.”

The match tied to the update went down June 12 at REVOLVER No Country For Ole Mancer, where Billie Starkz, Jake Crist, and Rich Swann came up short against Tye Or Die for the REVOLVER World Tag Team Titles.

There’s no word yet on what Swann’s injury is or how long he’ll be out, but for now, he appears to be sidelined. Bottom line, Swann was trying to keep things moving after his TNA return and indie work, but now an injury has put that momentum on pause.
