Rosemary’s absence from TNA television finally has an explanation, and it doesn’t sound like she’ll be back anytime soon.

According to Fightful Select, Rosemary suffered an injury while working a recent Firestar show and is expected to miss significant time as a result. Fightful Select stated:

“Rosemary’s injury happened at a recent Firestar show. She’s expected to miss significant time.”

The injury explains why Rosemary suddenly disappeared from a planned TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship defense. Rosemary was originally scheduled to team with Allie on the July 30 episode of TNA iMPACT! to defend the titles against The Elegance Brand, but she was absent when the match took place.

TNA has continued to raise questions on television about Rosemary’s status without giving viewers a definitive explanation for why she has been missing. That situation carries directly into TNA Lockdown on Sunday, August 23, where another Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match involving The Elegance Brand is scheduled.

With Rosemary now expected to be sidelined for a significant amount of time, TNA will have to deal with the championship situation without one-half of the team available for the foreseeable future.

There’s no timetable given for Rosemary’s return beyond the expectation that she will miss significant time, making her status one of the bigger questions hanging over TNA’s Knockouts division coming out of Lockdown weekend.

How do you think TNA should handle the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles while Rosemary is out, and who would you like to see step into the picture? Leave your feedback and let us know what you think.
