TNA iMPACT Results (3/5/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a video package recapping some of the events of last Thursday’s edition of Thursday Night iMPACT on AMC.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show and Hannifan thanks Rehwoldt, Gia Miller and the TNA team for welcoming him back to the iMPACT Zone after he was assaulted last week by his former best friend, Steve Maclin. Hannifan then says he will address the attack after the opening Knockouts World Title match between Arianna Grace and Jody Threat.

The camera then shows a shot of the crowd. Lillian Garcia is then shown in attendance watching the show along with the cast of Mama June. Jody Threat then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Arianna Grace and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo follow.

Before the action officially begins, Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore join the commentary booth and Blanchard admits to jumping Jody Threat backstage last week.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Match: Arianna Grace (c) vs. “The Wild Child” Jody Threat

The match starts off with Grace blindsiding Threat from behind during the ring announcement. She then delivers some shoulders on her midsection in the corner, then hits some knees on Threat’s midsection and cinches in a variation of a Half Boston Crab on her. Threat then hits a kick on Grace’s head, then nails a couple of knees on the back of Grace’s neck and follows it up with a suplex.

Threat then hits a Falcon Arrow to Grace, but Grace retreats to the outside and kisses Stacks. Threat then flies through the middle rope to take out Stacks on the outside as we see Dani Luna, Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside scatter around the ringside area to watch the action. Grace then puts on Santino Marella’s cobra, but Threat grabs it from her. Grace then rolls Threat up for the win.

After the match, Carlos Silva is seen on the apron ready to hand the champion her title, but Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo snatches it away to place it on his fiancée.

Hannifan and Rehwoldt then address the controversy from last week with Steve Maclin. Hannifan was disgusted and Rehwoldt says Maclin crossed lines you don’t cross in this business and he hopes Mike Santana kicks Maclin’s a**. Rehwoldt then says that is a matter for another time, because right now it is time to focus on the action.

Gia Miller then interviews The Nemeths and the mic didn’t work for the first half of the interview. Leon Slater might have gotten one over on Nic Nemeth on the pay-per-view, but Nemeth got the win back last week and will get the TNA X-Division Title tonight.

The Elegance Brand then make their way down to the ring, but Ash is not with the rest of the Elegance Brand as she is taking a mental health day. The Elegance Brand then run down Mickie James, then spot the cast of Mama June in the front row. Heather and M then cut a promo on Mama June and tell her to go stand in line at a food truck. This then brings out ODB from the crowd, dragging a cooler behind her. After some mic work, ODB single-handedly disposes off the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions and nails Mr. Elegance with a low kick. ODB then hands out cocktails to the cast of Mama June to dump all over Heather and M, who slips around on the floor.

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater and TNA World Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy then exchange pleasantries in the back.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night.
