TNA iMPACT Results (1/15/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show opens up with a video package hyping up TNA Wrestling and showcasing the talents and the fans.

Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt then welcomes us to the show and we see fans flipping TNA towels in the crowd.

AJ Styles’ logo then appeared and the crowd started chanting for him. Styles then made his way out to his old TNA theme song. Hannifan describes him as the first face of TNA who was inspired countless others. The AMC logo is then shown on the mats outside the ring and the barricades. Styles grabs the mic and says he is going to keep it short and sweet and “we got some wrestling to do.” Styles then welcomes everyone to the house that he Styles built and he says it is bigger, badder and bolder than ever and it is now on AMC. The fans then chants for AMC. Styles then asks the fans live to keep the energy and says they are the TNA Nation. Styles then leads a TNA chant.

We then get the official opening for the show. Elijah and The Hardys then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Order 4 follows.

6-Man Tag Team Match: Elijah and TNA World Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) vs. Order 4 (Mustafa Ali, Jason Hotch and John Skyler)

The match starts off with all six men brawling. Order 4 then works over Elijah, but The Great Hands are sent into the corner where Ali is preparing to jump off. Elijah then hits a superplex. The Hardys then send The Great Hands to the floor.

Ali then tags in and knocks The Hardys off the apron with Hotch. Elijah then hits Hotch with a boot, then sends Ali crashing into the middle turnbuckle face first. Steelz then hops up on the apron and into the ring, but Jeff sends Ali crashing into her. Matt then hits a Twist of Fate on Ali and Steelz and Jeff flies off the top rope to take out Ali. Elijah then hits a kick to Skyler’s chest and nails Hotch with a knee. Matt then hits Hotch with a Twist of Fate and Jeff follows it up with a Swanton Bomb to Hotch for the win.

After the match, Special Agent 0 nails Elijah and runs over The Hardys with a double clothesline. Vincent and Dutch then run down to the ring, forcing Special Agent 0 to back down. Vincent and Dutch then check on Matt and Jeff, but Dutch hits a Sidewalk Slam on Jeff and Vincent nails him with a right hand. He then grabs a chain attached to the ring post and a lock, then locks Jeff’s earlobe to the chain. Dutch then dumps on Matt and Vincent flies off the top rope to hit a Swanton Bomb to Matt. Vincent then grabs a microphone and says this will hurt him more than The Hardys before stating that The Righteous will dethrone The Hardys as TNA World Tag Team Champions.

We then head to the back, where Gia Miller is interviewing TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian is about to start talking when AJ Styles walks in. Kazarian asks if he was supposed to shake his hand or kiss him. Styles then says if he has anything to say to Frankie, it should be “Thank you for the house.” Styles then sarcastically says thank you and walks off.

We then get a video package on the X-Division’s history and its importance in the company.

Boxer Vergil Ortiz Jr. as well as Eric Young and AJ Francis are then shown in the crowd. The cast of AMC’s Dark Winds as well as Candice Michelle and Mara Sade are also shown in the crowd. Ryan Nemeth then interjects himself and he was beaten down by the celebrities.

We then see the angle, where Arianna Grace turned on her father Santino Marella, but Marella seems to be in a different mood than he was on last week’s show. Marella reviewed what happened and says he has been sad and confused. Marella then says they are now on AMC and the TNA Board has decided everything and what they decided is he can use an assistant. Marella then says he was relieved when he found out who it was and it is former WWE star Sonya Deville billed as Daria Rae.

Rae then makes her way down to the ring and cuts a promo. Rae then puts over Marella. Rae then turns on Marella and says the company doesn’t need him. Rae then says it needs structure and discipline, not his silliness. Marella then tries to argue back, but Rae tells him to shut up as she is talking. Rae then says she has run locker rooms and deals with TV. Rae then says she can do his job better than Marella, so he should stay out of her way. Rae then says she’s the suit. Rae then announces she has signed a new Knockout and out comes Elayna Black, former WWE star Cora Jade. Black then briefly appears on the entrance ramp.

We then head to the back, where AJ Styles runs into Mike Santana and he says he needed to do what he did best tonight and that is to win. Santana then thanks Styles and hugs him.

Perez Hilton is then introduced by The Personal Concierge with M and Heather By Elegance. He then introduces Mr. Elegance. Mr. Elegance then says hello AMC. Mr. Elegance then says he has been chosen and has an incredible transformation. The IInspiration then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.

TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship Match: The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay) (c) vs. The Elegance Brand (M By Elegance and Heather By Elegance)

The match starts off with Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee blindsiding Heather By Elegance and M By Elegance from behind. We then see NXT stars Sol Ruca and Zaria watching backstage as M looks to hit a moonsault on Lee. Lee then gets her feet up, then tags in McKay. McKay then runs over M with a clothesline, then stacks her on top of Heather in the corner and hit a splash on both of them before she nails a meteora on Heather in the corner. Heather then nails McKay with a kick to her head, then tags M back in. Heather then climbs to the top rope, but Lee pushes her off and tags Lee back in.

Lee and McKay then send M crashing into the mat spine first and Lee pins him, but Mr. Elegance distracts the referee and she misses the fall. Lee and McKay then slap Mr. Elegance and Lee hits a Scorpion Kick on M from the apron. Lee and McKay then takes out The Personal Concierge and get M up, but Mr. Elegance hits a chop block on Lee while Heather distracts the referee. M then takes advantage and rolls up Lee for the win.

We then head to the back, where Arianna Grace and Stacks say TNA management has hired someone to handle Santino’s job. Stacks then says he can handle anything Santino throws his way.

We then get an Injury Report, where it was announced that Harley Hudson and Myla Grace are out of action, Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside are cleared, Steve Maclin is out and Mike Santana is still dealing with a right arm injury.

Indi Hartwell then cuts a promo and says she’s been in limbo. Hartwell then says she’s here to fulfill her childhood dream and The Elegance Brand shows up and mocks her. Hartwell then says she was going to talk to Santino.

We then get a video package on The Knockouts division.

Santino Marella then introduces TNA Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee and Lee has signed a contract for an Open Challenge at Genesis, but Dani Luna is unable to enter the country. NXT’s ZARIA and Sol Ruca then make their way down to the ring. Ruca says they are here to scout the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, but when she heard about the Open Challenge she couldn’t resist. Ruca then says Lee is a warrior, but they have a warrior of their own and ZARIA should take the Open Challenge. The crowd then chants for ZARIA. ZARIA then signs the contract on Marella’s back, then stares down Lee as Lee holds up her title belt. Lee then extends her hand to ZARIA and ZARIA shakes it.

We then go to a video package highlighting the TNA World Championship.

We then go backstage showing Mike Santana and Frankie Kazarian walking backstage in separate areas as they get ready for the World Title Match.

We then see Santino Marella informing Cedric Alexander that they had a problem with visas and Leon Slater won’t be at Genesis. He then says it will instead be Moose vs. Joe Hendry vs. Cedric Alexander at the PPV and Cedric will get his X-Division Championship match down the line. Joe Hendry’s theme song then starts on Alexander’s phone.

The System then make their way out to the stage to cut a promo. Alisha Edwards asks Dallas, Texas if they want to know something and says TNA is on AMC. Eddie Edwards then says being at ringside in the present means something special for The System and as things change in TNA, there is one more change and that’s JDC’s final ever match. JDC then says he is proud to end his career with TNA. JDC then says next week he will be in the ring retired and he will announce the newest member of The System. JDC then says he loves Eddie Edwards as a brother and has nothing but respect for him as a man and a wrestler, but he is not going out like a punk. JDC then says Eddie either pulls the trigger or he will on Saturday.

We then get a video package hyping up the TNA World Title Match, which is coming up next.

TNA President Carlos Silva then makes his way out and brings out Dixie Carter. She is booed by a big portion of the live crowd. She asks how many have been watching all these years. She then thanks the fans and says it was a sentimental night for her. She then thanks everyone again and out comes Bully Ray. He then shakes Carlo’s hand and faces off with Dixie, who he legitimately hurt when putting her through a table. She then looks nervous and she hugs him. The fans then cheer Bully Ray as he joins commentary for the World Title Match.

Mike Santana then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night and Frankie Kazarian follows.

TNA World Championship Match: “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian (c) vs. “The Realest” Mike Santana

The match starts off with Santana going for a spin the block, but Kazarian ducks it. Santana then takes Kazarian down, who is quick to get back up. Santana then hits a big elbow on Kazarian and sends him to the floor. Santana. then leaps over the ropes and lands on Kazarian on the floor. Santana then charges at Kazarian, but he sent into the barricade. Kazarian then hits Santana with a belly to belly suplex on the floor. Kazarian is now working over Santana and gets several near falls. Santana then starts absorbing the blows and makes a comeback. Santana then hits Kazarian with an enziguiri and a superkick.

Santana then hits a stunner on Kazarian for a two count. Santana then places Kazarian on top of the ropes. Both men then battle on the top. Santana then hits a top rope Spanish Fly and follows it up with a Code Red for a two count. Santana then hits a cannonball, but Kazarian pulls his knees up. He then hits an Angel’s Wings for a two count. Kazarian then locks in a chicken wing, but Santana shoves him off the ropes. Kazarian then misses a slingshot leg drop. Kazarian then cuts off Santana and nails him with a springboard leg drop for a two count. Kazarian then grabs the TNA title belt, but the referee takes it away. Santana then goes for a Spin the Block, but it is blocked. Both men then battle back and forth.

Kazarian then dropkicks Santana and takes out the referee. Santana then hits a Spin the Block, but there is no referee to make the count. Santana then goes to the referee, but Kazarian nails him with the belt. Kazarian then hits a Fade to Black on the apron. He then covers Santana for a two count. Santana then hits a Canadian Destroyer and a Spin the Block for a two count. Both men then battle until Santana hit a Spin the Block for the win.

The winner and new TNA World Champion, “The Realest” Mike Santana!

After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva hands the title belt to Santana. Santana then kisses the belt and celebrates as the show comes to a close.
