Blocks 3 & 4:

Taz feels like there’s a best 3 out of 5 series coming between Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler. He thinks that type of series would work so well with these guys because they’re both fantastic Superstars in the ring and on the mic. He points out that this is a ‘B’ or ‘C’ storyline right now but he thinks it should be much more than that.

Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz how WWE’s creative team works when two Superstars like Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn come together to form a new storyline. Taz points out that one writer might be working specifically with a certain talent, but when talents like Owens and Zayn come together multiple writers may have to come together to work as one as well.

Let’s not all forget however, that everyone answers to Vince McMahon in the end. Taz also adds that writing for WWE is one of the toughest jobs he can think of because the demands are relentless and there are no off days.

Taz says that he’s happy to see Erick Rowan and Luke Harper back on WWE programming as the Bludgeon Brothers, but he wishes they’d lose the sledgehammers. He’s a big fan of both of those talents but he thinks they’re going to have trouble getting over with the WWE Universe if they’re presented in a hokey fashion.

That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
