The main event of AEW Revolution saw Jon Moxley challenging Kenny Omega in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match for the AEW World Championship. However, the ending to the match was very anticlimactic and definitely not the explosive ending fans wanted.
Instead of a lot of explosions, fans had to watch a sparklers come out of the ring posts, and the explosions were not explosive at all. Tony Khan decided to use this as part of a storyline where Kenny Omega can’t build an exploding ring.
However, this doesn’t mean other pro wrestlers and fans won’t make fun of the weak ending. Retributions T-Bar took to Twitter and mocked AEW Revolution’s ending.
T-BAR promoted the upcoming episode of Monday Night RAW and noted that it’s “an explosive new episode.”

The weak ending to AEW Revolution certainly disappointed a lot of fans who were looking forward to seeing something memorable.
