Swerve Strickland and Ricochet are turning up the heat—literally. Their ongoing feud took a wild turn ahead of the Super Bowl, with Swerve making it very clear that he wants nothing to do with Ricochet’s Philadelphia Eagles fandom.
Ricochet hit Twitter early in the day, proudly rocking his Eagles jersey and hyping up the team before their big game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Today’s the day! Fly @Eagles Fly!” Ricochet wrote, making sure everyone knew exactly where his loyalty stood.
But Swerve wasn’t about to let that slide. The AEW star wasted no time firing back with a brutal response, telling Ricochet to light his jersey on fire—while still wearing it. “Burn that jersey. But keep it on when you do it.”
This isn’t just about football. Ricochet and Swerve have been at each other’s throats for weeks, battling inside the ring and trading shots online. Ricochet got the upper hand this past Wednesday on Dynamite, securing a victory over Strickland, and now it looks like the trash talk isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
