RevPro’s huge Wembley anniversary show is about to come with a few surprises, because more AEW stars are already lined up to appear — and their identities are being kept secret until show day.
RevPro founder Andy Quildan confirmed the plans while speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio ahead of the promotion’s 14-year anniversary show at OVO Arena Wembley. The event takes place just 24 hours before AEW invades Wembley Stadium for All In, putting plenty of AEW talent in London at the exact right time.
Quildan was asked whether any other AEW wrestlers would be involved beyond the names already announced for the card. He didn’t name names, but he made it clear that more AEW talent is coming.
“There will be some more AEW talent on the show, but I think it will likely be in the form of surprises on the day. Yeah, we do have some more AEW talent lined up.”
That leaves the door wide open for some unexpected faces to walk through the curtain at Wembley. With AEW’s entire All In weekend taking place nearby, RevPro has no shortage of possibilities when it comes to who those surprise appearances could be.
Quildan also stressed that the mystery AEW wrestlers won’t take the spotlight away from RevPro’s regular roster. The company still wants its own talent to be the backbone of the anniversary card.
“The big mentality was to try and put the focus on our homegrown talent. Because again, like I say, look, I’ve been saying it for years. Last time I sat with you guys, I was talking up our talent and just how special our talent is.”
FTR and PAC are already connected to the show, but now fans know they won’t be the only AEW names involved. The big question is whether RevPro is hiding one major appearance or several surprises throughout the night.
Either way, anyone heading to OVO Arena Wembley now has another reason to pay attention to every entrance. RevPro has more AEW talent locked in, and Quildan has no plans to ruin the surprise ahead of time.
